Some 1,000 people gathered on Monday in Plaça Sant Jaume in Barcelona to protest against the curfew and the new limitations on their freedoms.

The protesters demanded more resources for public health, education, public transport and occupation, as well as social measures to guarantee the right to housing.

During the rally, the Mossos d’Esquadra arrested a woman who refused to identify herself, accusing her of an Attack on Authority and Aggression against the Agents.

Hundreds of people opposed to the restrictive measures to curb the covid-19 pandemic have formed barricades, thrown incendiary objects at the Mossos police and burned containers in the center of Barcelona on Monday night.

All this after a demonstration called by the pro-independence left that took place between eight and nine in the evening between Plaça Sant Jaume and Parc de la Ciutadella.

The Mossos d’Esquadra have confirmed the arrest of a girl for resisting authority and assaulting two officers, who according to police have been injured.

The rally began to walk towards via Laietana and from there it headed to the Parc de la Ciutadella. There the organizers called off the event, but about 1000 people remained concentrated in the place.

Then, the protestors decided to start again, this time in the direction of the França Station. There were some people without a mask or others who wore them badly.

Unas 1.000 personas se concentraron el lunes en la plaza Sant Jaume de Barcelona para protestar contra el toque de queda y las nuevas limitaciones de sus libertades.

Los manifestadores exigieron más recursos para la sanidad pública, la educación, el transporte público y la ocupación, además de medidas sociales para garantizar el derecho a la vivienda.

Durante la concentración los Mossos d’Esquadra han detenido a una mujer que se negó a identificarse con la excusa de atentado contra la autoridad y agresión contra los agentes.

A continuación, se realizó manifestación por el centro de la ciudad y hubo enfrentamiento contra la policía que trasladó y bloqueó la manifestación fuera de la Ciutadella.

Ahir unes 1.000 persones es van concentrar en la plaça Sant Jaume de Barcelona per a protestar contra el toc de queda i les noves limitacions de les seves llibertats.

Els manifestadors exigeixen més recursos per a la sanitat pública, l’educació, el transport públic i l’ocupació, a més de mesures socials per a garantir el dret a l’habitatge.

Durant la concentració els Mossos d’Esquadra han detingut a una dona que es va negar a identificar-se amb l’excusa d’atemptat contra l’autoritat i agressió contra els agents.

A continuació, es va realitzar manifestació pel centre de la ciutat i va haver-hi enfrontament contra la policia que va traslladar i va bloquejar la manifestació fora de la Ciutadella.
