Palestinians desperately await COVID-19 vaccines. Israel excludes Palestinians in occupied territories from its robust COVID-19 vaccination programme.

So .. Not 50%.. so was Michael Che wrong in his joke and was he thus an anti-Semitic criminal to be shunned and fired from his job like some other journalists?

But wait. The Israeli statistics do not include the occupied territories, which many argue have been a ‘de facto’ part of Israel for a generation.

Hundreds of curious people have come to the Gardens of the Three Chimneys to photograph the artist’s new proposal

The content of the new mural by artist Roc Blackblock was a mystery. After one of his works was removed by cleaning workers, he had announced that he would paint a new one, but had not revealed what it would represent. On Sunday morning, the secret was discovered in the Gardens of the Three Chimneys.

The artist says he has decided to make an expanded and improved version of the work. “I’m painting the emeritus king, but this time, in the company of his predecessor,” he told Betevé, referring to a portrait of dictator Francisco Franco.

The work also includes a portrait of the current King Philip VI, and two slogans: “Spain is a fascist country” and “Here censorship, repression and torture are as in a dictatorship.”
