A real shame. A major scandal. The decision of the Constitutional Council on May 21 – requested by deputies En Marche and the Minister of Education Jean Michel Blanquer – to refuse to legalize language immersion and the accents of “regional” languages as approved by a large majority of deputies
The decision above all is absurd and illegitimate. It is a real incitement to open disobedience.
The APLEC and all lovers of Catalan called to demonstrate on Saturday, May 29 at 3 am in the Plaça de Catalunya in Perpignan against an unjust, inept and undemocratic decision. It encourages us to fight even more against unfair practices, to reflect now that elections are coming on who will allow this permission to euthanize languages already in difficulty.
APLEC called for the removal of the mention of language in Article 2, manipulated by all enemies of our languages to oppose it.
A handful of Parisians incompetent in linguistics and pedagogy, living in the days of 19th century colonialism, allow themselves to reject, in the middle of the 21st century, respect for otherness and linguistic diversity, in a pathetic battle of the rear.

APLEC REQUESTS HEARING FOR PRIME MINISTER TO AMEND CONSTITUTION

Following the absurd decision of the Constitutional Council to outlaw immersive teaching and the accents and signs of Catalan (and the languages of other regions), the APLEC has formally requested a hearing from Jean Castex, after the first minister announced that he would receive associations representing regional language teaching.
The APLEC, which has been working for 38 years on the development of the teaching of Catalan in all its forms, including immersion, wants to present the proposals that would allow us to get out of the impasse in which we have been involved. located the inconsistent interpretation of a handful of constitutional judges and glottophobic deputies.

L’APLEC crida a manifestar dissabte 29 a Perpinyà
Una autèntica vergonya. Un escàndol major. La decisió del Consell constitucional el 21 de maig – sol·licitat per diputats En Marche i el Ministre d’Educació Jean Michel Blanquer – de refusar de legalitzar la immersió lingüística i els accents de les llengües « regionals » tal com havien aprovat una ampla majoria de diputats amb la llei Molac portarà cua.
La decisió sobretot és absurda i il·legítima. És una veritable incitació a la desobediència oberta.
L’APLEC i tots els amants del català criden a manifestar dissabte 29 de maig a 3h a la plaça de Catalunya de Perpinyà contra una decisió iniqua, inepta i antidemocràtica. Incita a lluitar encara més contra unes pràctiques injustes, a reflexionar ara que venen eleccions sobre qui permet que s’aprovi aquest permís d’eutanasiar unes llengües ja en dificultat.
L’APLEC demanarà que se suprimeixi la menció de la llengua a l’article 2, manipulat per tots els enemics de les nostres llengües per oposar-s’hi. Un grapat de parisencs incompetents en lingüística i en pedagogia, que viuen en temps del colonialisme del segle 19, se permeten de rebutjar, en ple segle 21, el respecte de l’alteritat i la diversitat lingüística, en un patètic combat de rereguarda.

L’APLEC DEMANA AUDIÈNCIA AL PRIMER MINISTRE PERQUÈ SE MODIFIQUI LA CONSTITUCIÓ
Arran de la decisió absurda del Consell constitucional d’il·legalitzar l’ensenyament immersiu i els accents i signes del català (i de les llengües de les altres regions), l’APLEC ha demanat formalment audiència a Jean Castex, després que el primer ministre anunciés que rebria les associacions representant l’ensenyament en llengües regionals.
L’APLEC que obra des de fa 38 anys al desenvolupament de l’ensenyament del català sota totes les seues formes, incloent-hi la immersió, vol exposar-li les propostes que permetrien sortir de l’impasse en el qual ens ha col·locat la interpretació inconseqüent d’un grapat de jutges constitucionals i de diputats glotofòbics. En particular l’APLEC demana que se llanci urgentment el procediment d’esmena de la Constitució que garanteixi la igualtat de dret entre el francès i les llengües de les regions…. més aquí
