Earth’s ‘vital signs’ sicker than ever before -report- the Planet is “under siege”

Of all the thousands of exoplanets discovered not one has yet shown signs of the mix of air, water and magnetic field that makes us possible. But scientists say that life systems of the planet are being irrevocably wrecked by ignorant human rulers’.
The “vital signs” that signify the health of our planet are currently worse than at any time in human history, a team of scientists warned in a research paper published in the journal Bioscience on Tuesday.
The study is an update of a 2019 analysis that 15,000 scientists across the globe had supported and stated that 20 of 35 crucial indicators used to track anthropogenic climate change are at record highs.
“Without actions that address the root problem of humanity taking more from Earth than it can safely give, we’re on our way to the potential collapse of natural and socioeconomic systems and a world with unbearable heat and shortages of food,” said Dr. Christopher Wolf of Oregon State University (OSU), the lead author of the report.
In addition to surging greenhouse gas emissions, the study found that rising global temperatures and sea levels are key indicators of the Earth’s ill health. Other factors also include high human and livestock population levels.
The researchers’ findings echo a separate report released last month, which concluded that Earth is “well outside the safe operating space for humanity.”
Researchers said the latest study comes during a year in which several climate records were smashed, including global air temperatures, ocean temperatures, and ice levels in the Southern Ocean.
In July, scientists recorded the highest monthly air surface temperature ever registered – likely the hottest the planet has experienced in 100,000 years.
“By 2100, as many as 3 to 6 billion people may find themselves outside Earth’s liveable regions,” Dr. Wolf explained, adding that increasingly large numbers of people “will be encountering severe heat, limited food availability, and elevated mortality rates.”
The report also states that “for several decades,” the scientific community has been sounding the alarm about humanity’s impact on worsening climate conditions. “Unfortunately, time is up,” it says.

The scientists also highlighted severe flooding in China and India, as well as a powerful Mediterranean storm that led to the deaths of thousands of people in Libya, as further examples of deteriorating climate conditions.
As for potential actions to mitigate the worsening effects of climate change, the paper calls for removing fossil fuel subsidies, increasing forest protection, and moving towards a more plant-based diet for wealthy individuals. It also calls for phasing out oil and gas and gradually reducing the human population via family planning.
“Life on our planet is clearly under siege,” concluded Prof. William Ripple, also of OSU. “It is a moral duty of scientists and our institutions to alert humanity of any potential existential threat and to show leadership by taking action.”

Gaza list of all Palestinian children murdered by Israel, till Oct 27th

These are the names of every Palestinian child (-18) that has been killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza since this latest conflict started on October 7th.
This list does not include missing children, unidentified bodies (obvs), or those killed during the 12hr constant bombardment on Friday evening.
Now the narrative around the October 7th attack by Hamas is unraveling as independent investigators on the ground study the attack sites. No beheaded babies, no burning piles of bodies.
Many killed were IDF soldiers. Many were killed in Israeli crossfire, tank shelling and “zero-sum” attacks (the bombing by Israeli troops of buildings where hostages were held, killing Hamas fighter and hostage alike).
Experts now suggest that Hamas’ intention was hostage capture only with an aim of prisoner exchange with Israel. Also, intelligence sources claim they warned Benjamin Netanyahu that this attack was coming, and their warnings were ignored. It took IDF six hours to respond to a flagged attack on one of the most heavily surveilled and monitored few square miles on the planet.
Israel has now killed 20+ of the hostages taken from the kibbutz with their airstrikes (independently confirmed figure, as reported by Israeli media). Hamas contacted IDF – through Red Cross intermediaries – to arrange a hostage handover in return for the end of airstrikes on Gazan civilian centres for long enough to find and bury the dead. According to reliable sources Israeli government representatives refused.
By the time the world sees through the lies that Israeli government officials and IDF chiefs tell every time this sort of violence happens it’ll be too late for thousands of Palestinian civilians. Over 10,000 have already perished, a huge number of them children.
The average age in Gaza is just 18. How many have to die to sate Israel’s bloodlust, piqued by the massive humiliation of October 7th? Answer, from the mouth of one Israeli government minister: “Every Palestinian is Hamas. Those children had it coming”.
What’s happening in Gaza is a genocide of a brutality and cruelty that far surpasses that of Hamas on October 7th. Israel is a rogue state that has “declared war” on “meddling” UN Officials after UN Member states passed an unbinding motion calling for an immediate ceasefire.
USA voted with Israel, against a ceasefire. UK and Ukraine abstained on the vote. The ethnic cleansing we are seeing yet again in Palestine is happening with the explicit support of our own government and opposition.
War Crimes are being committed and Britain is complicit under International Law. But the impunity with which western states (and Israel) have been allowed to act around the world for the past hundred or more years has instilled a sense of untouchability in them. They know they can get away with war crimes, genocides, ethnic cleansing, etc because they’ve been getting away with it for a century.
Israel will only stop when every Palestinian is either killed or displaced, and when every scrap of Palestinian land has been stolen, levelled and built upon to house European and American Zionist settlers, again against international law.
Meanwhile our leaders stand by and say “Israel has a right to defend itself”. This isn’t self defense. This is the annihilation of an entire people in order to expand the building of a far right religious ethnostate on stolen land.

People around the world rally to support Gaza as continued Israeli bombing has killed nearly 8,000 Palestinians.
Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators rallied in cities across Europe, the Middle East, the United States and Asia on Saturday to show support for the Palestinians amid brutal Israeli military onslaught on the Gaza Strip.
In one of the biggest marches, large crowds marched through the centre of the British capital, London, to demand the government of Prime Minister Rishi Sunak call for a ceasefire.
Saturday’s march in London was mostly peaceful, but police said they had made nine arrests: two for assaults on officers and seven for public order offences – some of which were being treated as hate crimes.
Police estimated the turnout at between 50,000 and 70,000 people.
Echoing Washington’s stance, Sunak’s government has stopped short of calling for a ceasefire, and instead advocated humanitarian pauses to allow aid to reach people in Gaza.
The United Kingdom has supported Israel’s “right to defend” itself after the October 7 attack by Hamas killed more than 1,400 people, mostly civilians.
The death toll in Gaza has crossed 7,700, also mostly civilians, since Israel’s bombardment began three weeks ago, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
In Malaysia, a large crowd of demonstrators chanted slogans outside the US embassy in Kuala Lumpur.
An estimated 100,000 people rallied in the southern Indian state of Kerala in solidarity with Palestine.
Protests were also held in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
Palestinian protesters in Hebron in the occupied West Bank called for a global boycott of Israeli products. “Don’t contribute to the killing of the children of Palestine,” they chanted.
