A large crowd of demonstrators swarmed theheadquarters of the New York Times on Thursday to protest the newspaper’s coverage of the Israel-Hamas war. The crowd barged into the building and briefly occupied the lobby.
Hundreds of activists took part in the march, many seen with Palestinian flags and signs carrying anti-Israel slogans.
They also condemned Washington’s staunch support for Israel, with some heard accusing President Joe Biden of “supporting genocide” against Palestinians in Gaza, according to the New York Post.
At one point, demonstrators passed out mock issues of the NYT dubbed “the New York Crimes,” which said the outlet had “blood…on its hands” for “inciting enthusiasm for war.” It went on to list the names of dozens of journalists killed in the latest bout of violence, with the parody headline “We killed our colleagues.”
“We will continue holding the New York Times to account… for inciting genocide!” protesters were heard chanting. “Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for the New York Times!”
Sometime near the tail end of the protest an NYPD police cruiser was vandalized, with its back window smashed out and slogans scrawled on the vehicle with spray paint, including the words “Free Gaza.” Police reported no arrests during the action, however.
The latest round of fighting in Gaza erupted last month when Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, killing some 1,400 people. Since then, the IDF has carried out weeks of retaliatory airstrikes and gradually escalated a major ground assault on Gaza, leaving nearly 11,000 Palestinians dead, including around 4,400 children, according to local officials.

Its impossible to believe the Hamas breakout attack of 7th Oct was a surprise to Israeli leaders, though perhaps not the exact day and hour. Israel has a whole army of spies and infiltrators working with money no object for generations now, and with the best listening and watching equipment available and US, EU and UK collaboration.
All the below does NOT suggest that Hamas did not kill civilians as well as Israeli military. But it gives substantial proof that Israel inflated the figures and created an ongoing self serving media spectacle of a Terrorist hate atrocity
Its important to investigate this, not for being anti Israeli, but because the Zionist run State is using the endless atrocity repeats to foment a mass killing spree and to justify a Genocide and/or expulsion of 2.4 MILLION still stateless Palestinians, nearly half of them totally innocent kids.

Cynical? Yes! It’s accepted knowledge that Hamas was first set up with millions donated by Israel, via Qatar, in order to split and so control the Palestinians and the Palestine Authority. And it worked. Then Hamas WON the elections of 2007, and when repressed took control of the great blockaded Gaza concentration camp.

So it was possible for Hamás , plus 3 more Islamic militias, and later some uncontrolled groups, to storm out of the “impregnable” Gaza refugee prison, into the illegally occupied countryside where settlers lived where former Palestinian villages stood. And “coincidentally” a ‘Rave Dance Festival’ had been relocated just 2 days before right by the border in their path. A recipe for tragedy.

The issue is whether such atrocities were planned and systematic, as Israel claims and the western media repeats non stop, or examples of rogue actions by individuals or groups.
If the latter, Israel would be in no position to judge-Savagery would certainly not be a uniquely Hamas trait. Following the October 7 attack, videos have been emerging of systematic abuses of any Hamas fighters captured, whether alive or dead.
Images show them being beaten and tortured in public for the gratification of onlookers, when there is clearly not even the pretence of information gathering. Others show the bodies of Hamas fighters being defiled and mutilated.
There is by now plenty of evidence that Israeli soldiers, police, helicopter and tank crews and settlers also killed many innocent Israeli citizens in the chaos and panic at the music festival and after it in the adjacent kibbutz under the inhuman ‘Hannibal Directive’ .
Hamas soldiers had orders not to kill civilians, however armed settlers and military are hard to seperate, and also various militias besides the official Hamas army took part in the escape/attack and uncontrolled groups joined in.
The prestigious Israeli security agencies, Shin Bet, Mossad and Amen, also have a strong undercover presence in Gaza, cultivated over decades and making it unthinkable that the huge Hamas raid was “a complete surprise”.
All it takes is for a desperate unemployable Gazan to accept cash from Israel to be trapped in a lifetime of blackmail for favors, becoming a spy anxious to prove himself. Perhaps some were also given the nod by Israeli controllers to gain cover by joining in the Hamas raid and attacking civilian settlers.

The woman taken hostage by the resistance at the festival in the desert spoke to Israel Radio;
“During this time the terrorists did not harm us, they even gave us the opportunity to drink and calmed us down while we panicked. The situation was really scary, but we were lucky that no one hurt us. For about two hours, no security forces were with us and we had to wait for the police to arrive. In the end, we were rescued and I’m with my friends now.”

Ashraf al-Qudra has just finished his daily briefing from outside al-Shifa Hospital.
Here are some of the things he said:
- Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza has run out of fuel and shut down its key operations.
- An overnight Israeli bombardment on the Jabalia refugee camp in the north and Sabra in western Gaza has killed dozens.To the north, the Jabalia refugee camp was targeted multiple times and 30 people were reported killed in the early hours of this morning.
- The Israeli army has escalated its targeting of medical personnel in Gaza
- Historic ERxodusThousands stream out of northern Gaza. Photos show thousands of civilians streaming out of northern Gaza after the Israeli army announced another four-hour evacuation corridor along Salah al-Din Road earlier today. But with south Gaza already bursting they have nowhere to go. And with Israel flattening their homes, nowhere to return.
- All services at al-Rantisi Children’s Hospital and al-Nasr Hospital have ceased
- 900,000 residents of Gaza and the northern Gaza Strip are left without shelter, medicine or protection

More Explosions reported in Jenin as Israeli raids intensify
Mohammed Jamjoom Reporting from Ramallah, occupied West Bank — Israel may be bogged down in Gaza but its forces are rampaging through the West bank. Raids in the occupied West Bank have intensified in the last three hours.
Medical sources have told Al Jazeera that the death toll in the Jenin refugee camp has increased to nine in their wake. Witnesses in Jenin are reporting explosions, at least five in the last half hour alone, and attribute them to armed Israeli drones.
Jenin is a city in the north of the Israeli-occupied West Bank that is home to a crowded refugee camp by the same name with a population of about 14,000 people.
Residents of the Jenin camp are descendants of Palestinians dispossessed of their land and homes when the state of Israel was created in 1948. Jenin has one of the highest rates of unemployment and poverty among 19 refugee camps in the West Bank, according to UNRWA.

UNRWA says 99 staff killed in Gaza
UNRWA commissioner Philippe Lazzarini said 99 of the commission’s staff have been killed in Gaza since October 7.
The commissioner added that severely limiting food, water and medicine in Gaza is “collective punishment”, saying that the killing of thousands of children “cannot be collateral damage”

Gaza children cling to toys amid Israeli bombing
As thousands of children shelter at al-Shifa Hospital, many of them cling to their toys to find comfort amid the intense Israeli bombardments.
Farah Bakr is one of them. The five-year-old and her doll are inseparable.
When her home was partially destroyed by an Israeli air raid, she thought the doll was lost, but managed to spot her light blue dress under the debris.
She dug her out, dusted her off and insisted on bringing her to the hospital.

Eight Gaza hospitals bombed in three days

A plague of frozen phalluses has infested Ekaterinburg

Officials in the Russian city of Ekaterinburg have called on the police to investigate a series of penis-shaped snow sculptures that keep cropping up across the city. Vice-Mayor Alexey Bubnov has instructed the public to smash the offensive organs on sight.
“Law enforcement probably needs to get to work,” Vice-Mayor Alexey Bubnov told local news outlet It’s My City on Friday. “If they insult someone, it’s probably an administrative offense. Involve law enforcement and demolish it. This is a provocation, and we need to fight these people.”
The first winter snow in the Urals last month brought some unusual snowballs to the streets of Ekaterinburg. A towering snow-penis – complete with anatomically-correct veins – appeared in a park outside the city’s opera house, where it stood proud for an entire day before municipal workers toppled it with a front loader and broke it apart with shovels.
Cocky copycats soon erected similar works of art in parks across the city, with one culprit sculpting a short yet sturdy member on the hood of a parked car.

Bubnov also called on the public to take matters into their own hands and bring down the ice-bound boners where they see them, and to send him pictures of the penises so municipal workers could be dispatched to fell them.
Residents of Ekaterinburg, however, do not share the vice-mayor’s puritanical zeal. An online petition demanding that the sculptors cease and desist has only attracted 33 signatures in more than 24 hours. Speculation is rife in Russia with Ukranian anti Putin elements or anarchists strongly suspected.
