La Cinétika is a squatted, anti-capitalist, autonomous and feminist cinema located in the Sant Andreu de Palomar neighbourhood of Barcelona city.

The squat took place in 2016. Since then we have worked to give life to a space that was abandoned and right now dozens of weekly activities are carried out, in addition, alternatives to consumerist leisure are generated through agreements that are made in the assemblies in a horizontal way.
We want to continue being autonomous, to expand participation and involvement, and to deepen our own self-management.

The operating bases of La Cinétika
If you want to participate in the management of the space as an individual, or you want to develop a project within this space, these are the minimum bases on which we work:
– The space works on an anarchist basis: it is an autonomous space in the institutions (without subsidies, or agreements with the City Council), self-managed, assembly-based (functioning by consensus or adhesions, not by votes and majorities), horizontal, and to preserve its autonomy it vetoes the participation in the assembly of militants of political parties or people with institutional positions of political representation, not forming part of the assembly political groups, but individuals and projects.
– It is a feminist space, without any tolerance for any type of aggression, (especially sexist violence), which favors the creation of non-mixed groups, and which wants to pay maximum attention to the gender aspect in the relationships between the people who participate in the space.
– It is a space free of drugs, alcohol and smoke.
– It is a space in which food of animal origin is not served and which encourages anti-speciesist participation.
– It is a space oriented towards projects, workshops and activities that address problems and needs of the neighbourhood, for example: health (physical, mental), housing, sport, non-consumerist and healthy leisure, food, transport, etc. autonomous units, with legitimacy to decide on aspects related to their activities (always respecting the minimums mentioned above)

– It is a space that is organised in a management assembly, formed by the individuals interested in maintaining the space, where at least one person delegated by each project must participate in each meeting.

Barcelona Anticapitalista, Autónoma y Feminista: La Cinètika
La Cinétika es un cine okupado, anticapitalista, autónomo y feminista ubicado en Rambla Fabra i Puig 28 , en el barrio de Sant Andreu de Palomar.
La okupación se llevó a cabo en 2016.
Desde entonces hemos trabajado para dar vida a un espacio que estaba abandonado y ahora mismo se realizan decenas de actividades semanales, aparte, se generan alternativas al ocio consumista mediante acuerdos que se toman en las asambleas de forma horizontal.
Queremos seguir siendo autónomas, ampliar la participación e implicación, y profundizar en nuestra propia autogestión.

Bases de funcionamiento de La Cinétika
Si quieres participar de la gestión del espacio como individualidad, o quieres desarrollar algún proyecto dentro de este espacio, éstas son las bases de mínimos sobre las que trabajamos:
– El espacio trabaja sobre una base libertaria: es un espacio autónomo en las instituciones (sin subvenciones, ni pactos con el Ayuntamiento), autogestionado, asambleario (funcionando por consenso o adhesiones, no por votaciones y mayorías), horizontal, y que para preservar su autonomía veta la participación en la asamblea a militantes de partidos políticos o personas con cargos institucionales de representación política, no formando parte de la asamblea colectivos políticos, sino individualidades y proyectos.
– Es un espacio feminista, sin tolerancia alguna ante cualquier tipo de agresión, (especialmente la violencia machista), que favorece la creación de grupos no mixtos, y que quiere poner la máxima atención al aspecto del género en las relaciones entre las personas que participen del espacio.

– Es un espacio libre de drogas, alcohol y humo.
– Es un espacio en el que no se sirve comida de origen animal y que fomenta la participación antiespecista.
– Es un espacio orientado a proyectos, talleres y actividades que afronten problemáticas y necesidades del barrio, por ejemplo: salud (física, mental), vivienda, deporte, ocio no consumista y sano, alimentación, transporte, etc. unidades autónomas, con legitimidad para decidir sobre los aspectos relativos a sus actividades (siempre respetando los mínimos antes mencionados)
– Es un espacio que se organiza en una asamblea de gestión, formada por las individualidades interesadas en mantener el espacio, donde en cada reunión debe participar al menos una persona delegada por cada proyecto.
