While the EU deploys its Frontex anti migrant army and forces the last rescue ships off the seas, while European countries build walls and fences, and fail even to accept even their miserable agreed quotas of refugees. While Greece and Spain confine them on small islands. And States like Spain pay off local elites to close borders on desperate would be migrants.

But worst may be Turkey, which has extorted over 5 BILLION euros from the EU to close its borders to refugees (mostly fleeing from the western financed eternal wars in Syria and elsewhere). The Turkish regime benefits 3 times over from the refugees, by also letting them be abused as near slave labour, thus forcing wage decline for all workers, and by using them as a recruiting ground for the Islamic extremist mercenaries it uses in Syria, Rojava, Libya, Armenia …

At least 39 migrants were killed when two vessels sank off Tunis on Tuesday while trying to cross the Mediterranean to the Italian island of Lampedusa, the Tunisian Defense Ministry said.

Lignite mining, express highways, gravel mining, parking decks, lime pits, and candy factories all have something in common that might not be obvious at first glance.

Capitalists need to cut down forests to make way for them. But all around Germany, people are mobilizing to stop them.

Over the past decade, forest occupations and forest defense actions have proliferated to such a point that we can now reflect on the movement as a whole.

Since February 26, 2021, people have been occupying a forest near Ravensburg called Altdorfer Wald. A gravel pit is threatening the forest’s existence and some activists who had earlier built climate camps and tree houses in the inner city of Ravensburg decided to live in the forest to protect it.

At the moment this occupation is not facing eviction.

On the day of the occupation near Ravensburg, all the way at the other end of Germany, police began the eviction of an occupied inner-city forest.

March 8 is one of the many dates on which the murder by hand of the powerful of those who died fighting is commemorated, but unlike most of the fighting dates this was carried out exclusively by women.

Throughout the pandemic, the government has neglected students – particularly when it comes to housing. But a group of old school activists are stepping in and using their radical politics to fight for a younger generation.

The ethos behind the SolFed is anti-hierarchy and anti-authoritarian. In a time of uncertainty for countless students, these anarchists are not only helping a younger generation, they are also helping to pave the way for more accountability in the privately rented sector. 

Echoing the sentiment of the National Unemployed Workers Movement, Plan C, and a plethora of other activist movements, the group campaigns against capitalism “because it exploits, oppresses and kills working people and wrecks the environment for profit worldwide”.

It saddens us to have to report that as a result of receiving a dose of either the Pfizer / BioNTech MRNA vaccine or the Oxford / Astrazeneca Viral Vector (still MRNA technology), a total of twenty women have now had to suffer the grief of having a miscarriage and losing their unborn child.

Adverse reactions to both jabs reported to the MHRA Yellow Card scheme up to the 21st February shows that the number has almost doubled in just seven days when compared with the previous weeks data, which included adverse reactions to both jabs. As of the 14th February 2021, a total of eleven women had lost their baby with three of those being due to the Oxford vaccine and eight of those being due to the Pfizer vaccine.
