by KurdisCat Umut Foundation has published figures for 2015 relating to violence against women in the Republic of Turkey, which recorded a significant increase compared to the previous year.
The Foundation was set up in 1994 to develop humanism and non-violence in Turkish society. 346 women were murdered in Turkey in the first 10 months of 2015.
