Little Vegetable Gardens
In the Assenbly of the occupied CSOA ( in Benimaclet barrio, central Valencia, Iberia) we thought it would be a good idea to start a garden in the open desert that existed in front of the squat centre.
So we made leaflets, we hung posters and announced on Radio Klara and Radio Malva (free radios) that Horta CSOA planned to make vegetable gardens and all those who wanted to cultivate a patch, should come to the newborn Horts Gardens Assembly, which at first was energized by the assembly of the house but, immediately began to work independently.
And in a short time a tractor was leveling the ground and marking the drains.
By now all the plots are being worked on, but we encourage everyone who wants to grow a vegetable garden to pass by Sundays -from 12: 00h.- and ask for the next Horts Gardens Assembly meeting .
Come and cultivate a patch if one is free, or if there are enough people interested we can occupy another space, because around Valencia there are loads of degraded wastelands with potential to be plowed.

Hortets
Des de l’assemblea de gestió del CSOA vàrem pensar que seria una bona idea posar en marxa un hort en l’esplanada desèrtica que hi havia abans a l’Horta.
Férem octavetes, vam penjar cartells i anunciàrem per Ràdio Malva i Ràdio Klara que al CSOA L’Horta se’n anaven a fer hortets i que tota aquella que volgués cultivar un bancal, vinguera a la recent nascuda Assemblea d’Horts, que en un principi va estar dinamitzada per l’assemblea de la casa però que, de seguida va començar a funcionar de manera autònoma. I en poc de temps ja estava el tractor anivellant el terreny i marcant les sèquies.
Ara mateix totes les parcel·les estan treballant-se, però animem a tota la gent que vol cultivar un hortet que es passe qualsevol diumenge de reg -a partir de les 12:00h.- i que pregunte per la propera Assemblea d’Horts.
Per si es queda alguna parcel·la lliure o per si hi ha prou gent interessada en cultivar com per a okupar un altre espai, ja que a les rodalies de València hi ha un fum de solars abandonats i degradats amb potèncial per ser llaurats.
