The robbery occurred in a chain store in Raval

The robbery occurred yesterday Wednesday, in one of the Veritas stores in the Raval neighborhood. Specifically, this is the supermarket located at 17 Dr. Dou Street, as confirmed by sources close to the company to this medium. According to the same sources, there have been threats in recent days against various establishments of the premium supermarket chain.

The action has an anarchist political component. According to the Indymedia, portal, after the looting some leaflets were launched “inciting looting supermarkets and rebelling against this system that makes us starve.”

“LOOT YOUR NEARBY SUPER”

On the web they have shared an image (see above) with the stolen products and with various anarchist messages. “Loot your local supermarket”, “steal and destroy”, “in my hunger I command”, or “Daddy State I do not ask what you have stolen” are some of the phrases that accompany the stolen food from Veritas.

The action is framed in an international anarchist call to agitation. As this newspaper has learned, in Barcelona there is a call among Anarchist groups to burn rubbish containers during the night of April 30, among other actions.

The event takes place the night before May 1, Labor Day, when anarchists usually make an appearance in the Catalan capital. This year, however, the day will be diluted by the state of alarm decreed by the Government 47 days ago.

Anarquistas saquean un supermercado Veritas en Barcelona

”El robo se ha producido en un establecimiento de la cadena en el Raval

Grupos anarquistas saquean un supermercado de la cadena Veritas en Barcelona. El robo se produjo ayer miércoles, en una de las tiendas de Veritas del barrio del Raval. En concreto, se trata del supermercado situado en la calle del Dr. Dou número 17, según han confirmado fuentes cercanas de la empresa a este medio. Según las mismas fuentes, se han producido amenazas en los últimos días contra diversos establecimientos de la cadena de supermercados premium.

La acción tiene un componente político anarquista. Según informa el portal ácrata Indymedia, tras el saqueo se lanzaron unas octavillas “incitando a saquear supermercados y a rebelarse contra este sistema que nos hace pasar hambre”. 

“SAQUEA TU SUPER DE PROXIMIDAD”

En la web han compartido una imagen con los productos robados y con diversos mensajes anarquistas. “Saquea tu super de proximidad”, “roba y destroza”, “en mi hambre mando yo”, o “Papá Estado no te pido lo que me has robado” son algunas de las frases que acompañan los alimentos sustraídos de Veritas. 

La acción es en marca en una llamada anarquista internacional a la agitación. Según ha podido saber este medio, en Barcelona circula entre los grupos ácratas una llamada a quemar contenedores durante la noche de este 30 de abril, entre otras acciones.

La cita tiene lugar la noche previa al 1 de mayo, Día del Trabajador, cuando los anarquistas suelen hacer acto de presencia en la capital catalana. Este año, empero, la jornada quedará diluida por el estado de alarma decretado por el Gobierno hace 47 días.
