People of Kobane bid farewell to 5 youths Murdered by Turkish drone

Thousands of people gathered for a funeral ceremony of five young people who were martyred following a Turkish drone attack in Kobane.

Thousands of people gathered in Kobane on Monday to bid final farewell to their martyrs.

Members of the Revolutionary Youth Movement and Young Women’s Union, Nûjiyan Ocalan, Viyan Kobanê, Rojîn Ehmed Îsa, Merhef Xelîl Îbrahîm and Welîd Mihemed Menle were martyred on December 25 following a Turkish drone attack that targeted a house in the Martyr Peyman neighbourhood.

The Afrin Region Revolutionary Youth Movement and Young Women’s Union have also reacted to the attack in a press statement.

Dozens of people attended the event in the Serdem Camp in the Ehdas district of Shehba canton.

The following statement was read out by Feride Hej Ebdo, a member of the Revolutionary Youth Movement:

“This attack was carried out with international cooperation. The people of Kobane have sacrificed thousands of their young people without hesitation to protect human dignity. However, the international community is silent towards the deadly attack in Kobane.

As is known, some were martyred and injured as a result of the attack. Young people are the future of society. They attack young people to break the power of society.

Throughout history, the young people’s response to invasion attacks has been resistance and revenge. We commemorate all the martyrs of Kobane in the person of Martyr Nûjiyan Öcalan, and we promise retaliation.”…

The coordination commemorated the martyrs Viyan Kobanê, Nujiyan Öcelan, Rojin, Welîd and Merhef in Kobanê, saying, “We promise that we will take revenge for our martyrs.”….

Anarquismos por venir es un ensayo político desde el anarquismo. Escrito por un militante libertario de Valladolid, hace un repaso de algunas controversias teóricas que en los últimos años se han dado en el anarquismo.

El texto hace un recorrido regado de referencias por 4 bloques: empezando por una defensa de un anarquismo socialista, siguiendo por un recorrido teórico por el concepto de poder, de sujeto de horizonte revolucionario o de comunidad y, pasando por una discusión sobre el territorio, la identidad y el nacionalismo; se termina con un balance de algunos de los principales sucesos políticos de los últimos años: las huelgas feministas, el 1-O o la pandemia.

Un balance crítico que insiste en la necesidad de dotar al anarquismo de una dimensión política para superar las limitaciones de los últimos años y avanzar en un proyecto que pueda plasmarse en organizaciones, estrategias y tácticas.

El texto defiende algunas posiciones claramente diferenciadas en muchos de los temas tratados, pero no se trata de un manifiesto. Es más bien una manera de plasmar algunas de las ideas sobre las que se construye la un anarquismo de inserción social que acompaña al «retorno del pragmatismo anarquista» y que, a falta de un corpus teórico cerrado, sirve para avanzar en estos debates.

Las ideologías revolucionarias en Europa están de capa caída. Los antaño grandes partidos comunistas y socialistas se han transformado a la socialdemocracia, cuando no directamente al socioliberalismo.

Los sindicatos de masas, que fundamentaban su fuerza en la organización y la acción directa, se han integrado e institucionalizado en el propio Estado que decían combatir.

The mass rollout of COVID-19 vaccines should be halted immediately. These experimental vaccines pose serious dangers. That is the message contained in a statement from concerned citizens soon to be forwarded to India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The statement’s signatories include medical scientists, doctors, epidemiologists, civil servants, civil society organisations and “deeply concerned mothers, fathers, husbands and wives”.

Internationally renowned professionals in the field of medical science have also joined this effort by offering their expertise, including Dr Mike Yeadon, Dr Peter McCullough, Dr Pierre Kory, Dr Roger Hodkinson, Professor Sucharit Bhakdi and Dr Tess Lawrie.

The statement comprises two parts.

Part one is a five-page summary of the main points and recommendations.

This is supported by part two, a 62-page document which quotes the relevant literature and has dozens of references to back up the assertions made about the vaccines, COVID-19 and the vaccination programme.

Some of the key points and recommendations contained in part one are summarised below.

The statement begins by saying that a coronavirus vaccine has never before been used successfully. One problem has been the development of antibody disease enhancement (ADE).

The vaccine produces antibodies, but sometimes this does not prevent disease – it instead makes the disease more serious and ADE can extend into the future (this has been seen before, for example regarding the rollout of a Dengue vaccine in Manila).

Pursuit of rapper Valtònyc reveals widespread censorship in Spain

A Belgian court provisionally released rapper Josep Miquel Beltrán (stage name Valtònyc) pending its decision on a European Arrest Warrant (EAW) issued by Spain. The rapper fled Spain in May to avoid a three-and-a-half-year prison sentence after being convicted of glorifying terrorism, insulting the monarchy, and issuing threats in songs posted on YouTube and other internet platforms.
Valtònyc’s offending lyrics … [were] referring to corrupt politicians and the monarchy.
