Despite declarations about the end of the nuclear race, the US begins in May to place its new B61-12 nuclear bombs in the bases it already has in Europe

In May, within 4 months, the US will begin large-scale production of its new B61-12 atomic bomb. This was announced by the NNSA, that is, the Nuclear Energy Administration of the US Department of Energy (U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Administration).

Entire Nuclear Arms Industry is 'Based Upon Fear ...

Entire Nuclear Arms Industry is ‘Based Upon Terror …

The evil and genocidal renewal is due to the new US fantasy doctrine of LIMITED NUCLEAR WAR which allows unlimited nuclear expansion and more trillions in disappearing budgets fpr the War Industry

2nd test flight of B61-12 nuclear bombs nuclear bomb ...

What could possibly go wrong?

The fatal fantasy fallacy is that they can now use “LIMITED” nukes to enforce their hegemony and global blackmail.. Just another mindblowing doublethink based on their ‘exceptionalist’ psychosis.

Both China and Russia have very limited conventional forces (just one aircraft carrier and one or 2 overseas bases each, for example, the US has 750 such bases, bristling with missiles.) .

Therefore an attack or incursion by the USA can only be encountered by immediately going nuclear, i.e. the end of the world for humans.

750 US military bases remain around the planet …

As they leave the factory, the new US nuclear bombs will be delivered to the US Air Force, which in turn will send them to their bases in various European countries to replace the B61s already deployed there. .

The new US atomic bomb B61-12 is a multipurpose nuclear weapon that replaces three variants of its predecessor. It has a nuclear warhead with 4 different options of destructive power, selectable according to the target you want to destroy.

Millions of people continue to risk their life and livelihood by resisting the military coup.

Fascist military forces have killed close to 1,400 people and arrested more than 8,300 protestors to this day. Despite these grave threats, the people such as workers, women, youth and students in Myanmar keep resisting on the streets, in cities, in rural areas, and in some cases have fled into the jungles.

Help us to sustain the resistance, to restore workers’ rights and civil liberties.

Rallies take place in solidarity with Myanmar workers

On February 1st 2021, the Myanmar military junta staged a coup and forcefully took power from the elected government. Millions of people across the country have protested since the early days of the coup.

Doctors and nurses who participated in the earliest stages of the civil disobedience movement were soon joined by the teachers, students, railway workers and civil servants from different sectors. Especially thousands of garment workers took to the streets to protest the coup.

Throughout February, people rallied in mass protests and demonstrations on the streets. In retaliation, raids and arrests of protest leaders began. Starting in March, police crackdown on protesters intensified as they used rubber and live bullets, often aiming at the head.

The military junta also uses other strategies to suppress the movement. For example, they gather personal information of people and supporters who involved in the civil disobedience movement and protests through informants.

After the tip-off, the arrest and raids followed and sometimes family members, including children, are held as hostages if their primary targets are not found. The arrest and murder of protesters has been pervasive, close to 1,400 civilians have been killed while more than 8,300 are arrested, charged or sentenced as of December 31st . (source: aappb.org)

Yet, despite these grave dangers, people in different parts of the country continue to show their dissent in various ways. Since large rallies have been heavily policed also by military or plain-clothed cops in civilian cars – including attempts to arrest by driving into crowds – protesters have turned to “flash mob street protests”.

The Rojava Revolution defended the world, now the world will defend the Rojava Revolution!

Embargo, cutting off water sources and air strikes against civilians have been some of the war crimes committed by the fascist Turkish state throughout this year against the revolution in Rojava.

While facing the internal political and economic crisis, the Erdogan government has to accept the failure of the military operations in the mountains of Kurdistan, appealing to the use of chemical weapons, in the face of the resistance of the Kurdish warriors of the revolution.

The intensification of the attacks last October, the flyers launched from the aeroplanes and the recent troop movements threaten a new invasion of the autonomous territories in the North and East of Syria.

At this delicate moment, we want to reaffirm our solidarity with our revolutionary comrades and all the peoples of Rojava and condemn once more the occupation of Rojava, the multiple aggressions and war crimes of the Turkish neo-fascist state and its jihadist allies, as well as their preparations for war.

How a Far-Right essay is a world Blueprint for destroying the Collective Commons

The Myth of “The Tragedy of the Commons”

By Ian Angus

See also A reply to criticisms and questions about this article

Is privatization the only way to protect the environment and end Third World poverty? Most economists and development planners will answer “yes” — and for proof they will point to the most influential article ever written on those important questions.

https://www.brh.org.uk/site/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/Blackflags_cover-768x1152.jpg

Since its publication in Science in December 1968, “The Tragedy of the Commons” has been anthologized in at least 111 books, making it one of the most-reprinted articles ever to appear in any scientific journal. It is also one of the most-quoted: a recent Google search found “about 302,000” results for the phrase “tragedy of the commons.”

For 40 years it has been, in the words of a World Bank Discussion Paper, “the dominant paradigm within which social scientists assess natural resource issues.” (Bromley and Cernea 1989: 6) It has been used time and again to justify stealing indigenous peoples’ lands, privatizing health care and other social services, giving corporations ‘tradable permits’ to pollute the air and water, and much more.

Noted anthropologist Dr. G.N. Appell (1995) writes that the article “has been embraced as a sacred text by scholars and professionals in the practice of designing futures for others and imposing their own economic and environmental rationality on other social systems of which they have incomplete understanding and knowledge.”

Like most sacred texts, “The Tragedy of the Commons” is more often cited than read. As we will see, although its title sounds authoritative and scientific, it fell far short of science.

Commoning our way through the climate crisis - Shareable

Garrett Hardin hatches a myth

The author of “The Tragedy of the Commons” was Garrett Hardin, a University of California professor who until then was best-known as the author of a biology textbook that argued for “control of breeding” of “genetically defective” people. (Hardin 1966: 707) In his 1968 essay he argued that communities that share resources inevitably pave the way for their own destruction; instead of wealth for all, there is wealth for none.

He based his argument on a story about the commons in rural England.

(The term “commons” was used in England to refer to the shared pastures, fields, forests, irrigation systems and other resources that were found in many rural areas until well into the 1800s. Similar communal farming arrangements existed in most of Europe, and they still exist today in various forms around the world, particularly in indigenous communities.)

“Picture a pasture open to all,” Hardin wrote. A herdsmen who wants to expand his personal herd will calculate that the cost of additional grazing (reduced food for all animals, rapid soil depletion) will be divided among all, but he alone will get the benefit of having more cattle to sell.

Inevitably, “the rational herdsman concludes that the only sensible course for him to pursue is to add another animal to his herd.” But every “rational herdsman” will do the same thing, so the commons is soon overstocked and overgrazed to the point where it supports no animals at all.

Hardin used the word “tragedy” as Aristotle did, to refer to a dramatic outcome that is the inevitable but unplanned result of a character’s actions. He called the destruction of the commons through overuse a tragedy not because it is sad, but because it is the inevitable result of shared use of the pasture. “Freedom in a commons brings ruin to all.”

Where’s the evidence?

Given the subsequent influence of Hardin’s essay, it’s shocking to realize that he provided no evidence at all to support his sweeping conclusions. He claimed that the “tragedy” was inevitable — but he didn’t show that it had happened even once.
