Amsterdam: Announcing the opening of a new anarchist space ‘De Verdieping’ at Kaboem.

Some say that we are running out of time. Some say the anarchist idea and the fight for a social revolution belong to past centuries. Some say that authority is annihilating and alienating all life on this planet to a point of no return. Some say that digital distraction and its convenient confusionism have replaced our capacity to imagine an autonomous and free life. Some say that there is no way out of the deadly logics of progress, power and profit. Some say that we live in a world of sheep and wolves, and there are no other forms of relationships possible.

Perhaps. Perhaps we are just untamable dreamers that stubbornly refuse to accept the horrors and obedience that this authoritarian world thrives on.

Or perhaps we simply cannot turn our backs on the black thread of history: as long as there have been those dominating and exploiting — upheld by those reproducing or resigning to these logics –, there have been individuals who have never stopped lusting for freedom; those who never kneeled to the tyranny of cages and categories; those who transmit their experiences of struggle for others to make their own; those who have never settled for mere survival nor for the comfort of a life built on the oppression of others; those who embrace and spread the adventure of revolt inviting anyone with a disgust for authority to find their own means to struggle against it; those who generously put into practice diverse and sublime acts of solidarity; those who, faced with the blows of repression, remain fierce and dignified; those who refuse representation, compromises, political strategies or assimilation.

We are on their side and the spreading, deepening and continuation of these ideas and practices are explicitly why we created a new anarchist space. In these times of crisis and catastrophes, repression and restructuring, virtual life and voluntary servitude, our hearts, heads and hands are determined in pursuing and pushing a tension for
solidarity, direct action and self-organization.

Though it can feel overwhelming, we are refusing the path of
resignation. We continue to develop ways to deepen the sense and
sensibility of our ideas and the urgency to act, to seek out accomplices with whom to exchange and experience our rebellion, to give amplitude to the sparks of life and struggle that inspire us, to give access to discussions, analysis and projects that contribute to social revolt.

De verdieping is a modest contribution to giving space, strength and a surge to anarchist perspectives and proposals. Executive summary

People tell me I’m crazy all the time for believing that the COVID vaccines are unsafe.

But all I am doing is making the obvious conclusions from all the data in plain sight, including people’s reactions when challenged.

For example, at dinner last night, I revealed that my occupation was a “myth buster” and then people asked “what myth?” and I said that the vaccines were unsafe. Later, one of the attendees told me I should be ashamed of myself for spreading misinformation. I asked, “Do you have any data to back that up?” She said, “I don’t want to talk to you.”

Does that sound familiar?

Here’s a short checklist of observations that would be very hard to explain if the vaccines are safe and effective.

Today 22 oct 22 headlines in top Western media claim Russia is bombing its own dam to create a catastrophe, and the fake news repeated on the MSM worldwide.

Russian reports lead on frantic calls to evacuate cities in the path of the imminent Tsunami style flood, and detailed how Kiev’s forces are firing up to 120 missiles daily, mainly US Himars , and are nearly overwhelming defenses.

After repeated defeats of Ukraine offensives and the provocation of tit for tat Russian air attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, Ukraine received the go-ahead to flood the whole Kherson region and destroy the capital. A few direct hits by ‘state of the art’ US artillery could potentially kill tens of thousands of mainly Russian speaking citizens to ‘liberate’ them. Meanwhile the West cries out in horror, blaming Russia and pouring in more arms.

Russia has formally asked the United Nations Security Council to prevent Ukraine from destroying the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam in Kherson Region. Such a disaster could result in the deaths of thousands of civilians, Moscow’s ambassador to the UN warned on Friday.

Speaking at a Security Council briefing, Vassily Nebenzia noted that as the West chooses to ignore “any criminal acts” committed by Ukraine, the country has been “consistently conducting strikes on civilian infrastructure in its former territories”, including the town of Novaya Kakhovka in Kherson Region, which was recently incorporated into Russia.

According to the envoy, most of the missiles are being launched from US-made High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).

“Ukrainian forces are aiming at the Kakhovskaya dam in order to break it, causing the water level to rise and the adjacent areas to flood,” the diplomat said.

Should this happen, Nebenzia warned, “thousands of civilians may be killed, and thousands of homes damaged.”

The envoy said Russia has distributed a letter to Security Council members, calling on the UN leadership to prevent “this terrible provocation.”

The Ukrainian military frequently shells settlements and civilian infrastructure in the Kherson Region. Aside from the Kakhovskaya plant, Kiev has been targeting the Antonovsky Bridge and a pontoon crossing over the Dnepr River in the city of Kherson, in a bid to disrupt Russian logistics in the area.

Emergency evacuation of Kherson cities continues Sunday

On Wednesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin imposed martial law in Kherson Region, as well as three other former Ukrainian territories, amid reports that Kiev’s forces were preparing a large-scale offensive against the area’s capital city. A day earlier, local authorities announced the relocation of civilians from the province.

Kiev’s forces have also repeatedly targeted Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, which is located in the neighboring region, with Russian authorities warning that the attacks could trigger a disaster that would eclipse the Chernobyl incident.
