Nine people have been arrested in different places in the Barcelona Metropolitan Area in an operation coordinated by the General Information Commissariat of the Mossos d’Esquadra, reports La Directa. The arrests are related to the acts carried out during the day of struggle called on February 7 in solidarity with the Palestinian people and against the genocide in Gaza.
Eight of the detainees are accused of crimes of public disorder, damage, illegal demonstration and criminal group, which can lead to prison sentences. At 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday the 19th, the Ègida collective confirmed a ninth arrest.
This anarchist collective defense group Ègida called a rally this afternoon in front of the Les Corts police station, where the detainees remain.

The repression of the Palestine solidarity movement continues.
As of Thursday, March 18, 8 people have been detained by the Mossos d’Esquadra in Barcelona.
These arrests are related to the day of Strikes on February 7 among the Palestinian people and against the genocide in Gaza.
The day is was convened with the slogans «Estimate life, defend Palestine, save the world» and to make visible the 4 months of the beginning of the current offensive of the State of Israel against the Palestinian people.
That day thousands of people went along the streets of all of Catalonia as well as all Spain. Now, 7 of them, 7 of us, have been arrested.
Show our solidarity with the companies concerned and with the Palestinian people on March 19 at 7 p.m. before the Les Corts Police Station, on these issues.

Nueve personas han sido detenidas en distintos lugares del Área Metropolitana de Barcelona en un operativo coordinado por la Comisaría General de Información de los Mossos d’Esquadra, informa La Directa. Las detenciones están relacionadas con los actos llevados a cabo durante la jornada de lucha convocada el pasado 7 de febrero en solidaridad con el pueblo palestino y contra el genocidio en Gaza.
Las detenciones están relacionadas con los actos de movilización del pasado 7 de febrero, en los que miles de personas protestaron en Catalunya contra el genocidio llevado a cabo por Israel.
Se acusa a ocho de los detenidos de delitos de desórdenes públicos, daños, manifestación ilícita y grupo criminal, que pueden acarrear penas de prisión. A las 13:50h de la tarde del martes 19, el colectivo Ègida ha confirmado una novena detención. Este grupo de defensa colectiva anarquista ha convocado una concentración esta misma tarde frente a la comisaría de Les Corts, donde permanecen las detenidas.

En Terrassa, Sant Quirze, Manresa, Mataró, Lleida o Cornella de Llobregat, cientos de personas se sumaron a las distintas movilizaciones. Más de 170 organizaciones convocaron y participaron.
