The resistance against the Turkey’s backed mercenaries is continuing. A YPG veteran Karim Franceschi stated: “The deployment of SDF elite units has shifted the momentum. Turkey’s backed SNA forces are in full retreat. Heavy casualties, key axes collapsing. The liberation of Manbij is now imminent.”.

Meanwhile, dozens of families in Serêkanîyê (Ras al Ain) want to leave, but are facing extortionate exit fees from the mercenaries that they cannot afford.
Serêkanîyê is in the border buffer zone created by Turkiye in Erdogan’s 3rd invasion in 2019 where most people were exiled to ongoing internal refugee camps and the rest trapped with settled jihadi Turkish paid mercenaries

The US-led Anti ISIS coalition has sent its largest convoy of weapons and logistics supplies for its forces in Syria since the fall of the government of President Bashar Assad earlier this month, Al-Arabiya and Al-Hadath have reported.
The development comes as Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to “bury” Kurdish defenders.
Approximately 60 loaded trucks have entered the country from Iraq via the al-Waleed border crossing, according to reports published on Monday. More weapons and supplies are being delivered to the coalition forces amid the intensification of US military movements, including the deployment of armored vehicles and troops in and around the cities of Deir ez-Zor, Raqqa and Kobani, Al-Arabiya noted.
The situation in Syria currently remains tense with clashes continuing between US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), which are largely made up of Kurdish militias, and various Turkish-aligned factions. In the past the US has only supported the SDF in fighting ISIS
Kurdish groups like the YPG, who have been major allies of Washington in fighting Islamic State, are also considered terrorists by Ankara which for a generation has followed a genocidal policy against its own nearly 20 million Kurdish citizens.
Turkey under Erdogan has invaded Syria now four times, occupying and ‘ethnically cleansing’ mainly Kurdish areas, boasting of colonial expansion and for fear the Rojava revolution could spread to Turkey..
The US-led coalition announced earlier that it had conducted several rounds of airstrikes against Islamic State targets since December 8. On 31st Dec cioalition member France also claimed attacks against ISIS.
