Rotterdam: Catullusweg stays!- In the morning of august 23rd we went to court, and we won!!!
We are really grateful to everyone that has helped out and stood by us, it truly means a lot!! On the 22nd of august we got a letter for a speed court case for the eviction of Catullusweg 11.
In the morning of august 23rd we went to court, and we’re happy to announce that we won!!! Even though we don’t have anything nice to say about the judicial system, we feel a weight taken off our shoulders knowing that in the coming time there won’t be any attempts of eviction by the state and its servants.
Now that this squat has more stability, we will put even more time into setting up a social space including a library, free shop, cinema/theater, community kitchen etc.
This is a callout to gather and organise together. Come by share your ideas and don’t don’t hesitate to join in on the fun! We’re looking forward to your ideas and initiatives.
The squatters want to use the building for various purposes. For example, the squatters wanted to start a free childcare facility, set up a kitchen where free meals would be prepared for people who were short of money and a living space for themselves on the top floor. .
After the many threats and an attempt at eviction by the police, they decided to leave because we were ready to resist the eviction with a lot of people.
Aside from being a living space, it will also be a space to gather, meet each other, share and sharpen skills, and host events. It will be a place to learn outside of institutionalised education.
We want to create a space where everybody can feel safe, no matter the colour of your skin, sexual orientation, gender, class, or any such characteristic. Our house and common spaces are vegan, because we are also against the oppression of other species.
Rotterdam – On Tuesday evening, the police were deployed on a large scale after a group of squatters occupied an empty school building on the Catullusweg in Rotterdam.
The group of squatters consisted of more than 40 people. They were discovered by a security guard after a report was received by the security company.
Upon arrival, the security guard found people in the building and the lights were on.
A sign at the entrance read: ‘Welcome to our square’ The police were present in large numbers. Several officers, including two dog handlers and the Team Parate Eenheid were on site. They had surrounded the building. Officers saw several people walking in the school building.
It was suspected that the squatters were hiding in the classrooms. – When they saw the police, most of the squatters left the building via the emergency exit and fire escape at the back of the building.
The squatters shouted that they would only leave the building once a lawsuit was started.
The squatters wanted to use the building for various purposes. For example, the squatters wanted to start a free childcare facility, set up a kitchen where free meals would be prepared for people who were short of money and a living space for themselves on the top floor.
After a deployment of more than four hours, it was decided that the police officers were not allowed to enter the building and that legal action would be taken by the owner of the building. .
“Hanin, a mother of three young children, was displaced with her family from Jabalia in northern Gaza, and they now share a cramped space with 25 members of her family.
“In the same classroom, about 40 others are packed in,” she says, speaking at Al-Aqsa Hospital, describing her situation as tragic.
The college where she lives is crowded, sewage pools throughout and there are long queues for the toilets. The outside walls are black from the wood fires used for cooking.
She says she no longer trusts any action undertaken by international organisations when it comes to the health of children in Gaza.
“Our children are being killed daily by bombs and missiles, even in supposedly safe areas. Some are decapitated,” she says bitterly.
“This madness is still ongoing and yet, they’re talking about fears of polio only?”
Like many displaced families in her shelter, Hanin initially resisted vaccinating her children.
“People here have lost faith in anything global or Western,” she explains.
“Some displaced people around believe conspiracy theories that the vaccines contain substances planted by Israel and the US to weaken our children.”
Despite her doubts, she ultimately felt she couldn’t risk her children’s health, especially after hearing about a confirmed polio case in Gaza, so she brought them to the hospital.
“I understand the despair families feel living under war conditions. We are like the living dead, trapped in unbearable conditions,” she says, holding her baby boy.
“I gave birth to my child last November and since then he has been living a tragic childhood in the shelter,” she says, frustrated.
“He has no proper nutrition, no clothes, no toys. He suffers from skin rashes and constant fatigue.”
For Hanin, the fight against polio is just one small part of a larger struggle.
“Protecting our children from polio is important, but the real fight is against the living conditions imposed by war. These conditions are destroying their mental and psychological health and even their future,” she argues.
“What is the point of vaccinating children and protecting them from disease, while the war that kills them every day continues? This is nonsense.”
Surreal Genocide Abomination as Israel supervises suspect Polio Vaccination of children while systematically slaughtering thousands of them
1). While committing a widely admitted Genocide Israel supervised mass vaccination of hundreds of thousands of its victims.
2). The type of oral vaccines ‘donated ‘are no longer used in the west as they CAUSED polio cases as shown in traces found in sewage.(Source.)
3) These oral polio vaccinations had previously been used in Gaza where polio traces were found in sewage and a single “confirmed case” of a 10-month-old child who has contracted polio in a legwhile 18.000 kids murdered.
3) The semi private World Health Organisation (WHO) is notorious for corruption and power seeking. The source of the ‘excess’ oral vaccines is suspect. (Why the World Health Organization Failed)
4). For decades the polio vaccine industry has been in most countries am”feeding trough’ for big Pharma as the few only cases recorded have been caused by the vaccine itself (see examples)
5.) Palestinian mothers in Gaza have logically suggested a plot to poison or contaminate their children. see Al Jazeera posts by Maram Humaid and Areesha Lodhi
7). Several news stories have appeared online in Israel and the United States, quoting two Israeli scientists asserting that the polio vaccine used in Gaza is “experimental” and a danger to citizens in both Palestine and Israel.permalink.

Marichuy’s candidacy, the Zapatista tour of Europe and the new reorganization of Zapatista autonomy are part of this new installment of a series of texts with which to learn about and celebrate three decades of Zapatismo
March 2022 .. ZapatistasDemonstration in San Cristóbal de las Casas against wars. March 2022. desinformemonos.org .. Lola Sepúlveda
This text from the 30th Anniversary of the EZLN Uprising series opens with the “surprise” that was Marichuy’s candidacy as an independent candidate for the presidency of Mexico in 2018, continues with the creation of new Autonomous Municipalities and Caracoles in the Zapatista zone and the Journey for Life of the rebels from southeastern Mexico to Europe, Slumil K’ajxemk’op.
And it does not end, but continues with the future: the new reorganization of Zapatista autonomy and “the common people,” ready to move forward and with an eye toward at least one hundred and twenty years…
In 2016, from October 9 to 14, the National Indigenous Congress (CNI) held an important meeting, divided into two parts, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of its constitution, on October 12, 1996.
The first part of this meeting ended with the issuance of a statement signed jointly by the Zapatista Army of National Liberation and the National Indigenous Congress: “Let the earth tremble at its core.”“Que retiemble en sus centros la tierra”.

The text reviews the struggles and resistance of the indigenous peoples “to stop the capitalist storm and offensive that does not cease but becomes more aggressive every day and has become a civilizational threat not only for the indigenous and peasant peoples but for the people of the cities”.
It considers that this offensive is not going to stop, but on the contrary, will increase, they report that a consultation will be held in each of the towns on an agreement made at that meeting: “to appoint an indigenous governing council whose word will be materialized by an indigenous woman, delegate of the CNI as an independent candidate who will compete on behalf of the National Indigenous Congress and the Zapatista Army of National Liberation in the electoral process of 2018 for the presidency of this country”.
With this, the first part of the meeting was closed, which continued at the end of the year, once the consultation was made.
