A few examples of the growing momentum for radical change are described below.

After the police attack and enforced disappearance of 43 students, the State Coordinator of Education Workers of Guerrero (Ceteg), the state affiliate of the National Coordinator of Education Workers, a lefty labor union, wasted no time in calling a meeting in Ayotzinapa. Participants in the October 15 meeting, held…

Aylesbury Occupations: 12 story block seized for homeless

12 story block occupied

Aylesbury estate: 12 storey building occupied after yesterday’s demo

stop demolitionYesterday (14 March) there was a “March for the Aylesbury” demo, called by “Southwark Defend Council Housing”. At 12 noon on a cold grey day, 150 plus people gathered in Burgess Park on the corner of Old Kent Road and Albany Road. We took the road and marched off through the Aylesbury, past the new yuppy developments springing up around the area, then along the busy Walworth road where there were lots of people out doing their shopping, taking leaflets, shouting greetings and honking horns and some joining in the march.

March 8: CNT Women against patriarchy and Capital
Mujeres-LibresNo more empty word and hypocritical speeches. Heading into a new March 8, the union CNT has warned about situations of exploitation, unemployment and discrimination that women continue to suffer, “the main victims of the crisis of a system in decay.” Against this, the anarcho-syndicalist union supports the struggle against patriarchy and capitalism: “A revolution that does not have us in their ranks is doomed,” she underlined.
Below is the statement of CNT on a new March 8:
One more year, one more day, one more day, one more of the thousands of ephemeris flooding the calendar. Yet this is no ordinary day. It is the day when women stop putting up with being victims of gender violence to become the heroines of the day, always with the tagline of “much remains to be done.”seperate_and_equal_mujeres_libres_martha_ackelsburg
