Misleading posts about climate change have flourished on Twitter since Elon Musk took charge of the company in October, according to a new report.

“What’s happening in the information ecosystem poses a direct threat to action,” Jennie King, head of climate disinformation at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue, which produced the report, told the Associated Press. “It plants those seeds of doubt and makes people think maybe there isn’t scientific consensus.”

The report finds that Twitter is actively recommending the term “climate scam” to users who searched for “climate” during the UN climate talks in November. The report found that “climate scam” often appeared as the top result in searches, despite greater user engagement with other terms relating to climate change.

The report says that it’s unclear why “climate scam” gained more prominence than these other terms, adding that the trend highlights “the need for transparency on how and why platforms surface content to users.” More likely it’s down to Twitter Management Tools.

US debt impunity is a variation of a Ponzi scheme, enforced with sanctions and threats. But all Ponzi schemes are really giant Confidence Swindles, and finally face inevitable sudden and complete collapse.

Despite the RISE of the dollar at the end of 2022 and the huge US capitalist gains, due to oil and gas price inflation from sanctions on Russia, as well as the war profiteering boom of the key Military Industrial Complex, many economists still predict a great economic crash.

Now that Russia has defied the system, and profited economically, despite hundreds of economic sanctions and a full scale proxy war against it, many countries are beginning to break ranks and deal in their own currencies or in the ruble and yuan. Finally some nations are daring to not buy the now devaluing dollar from a USA again forced to increase its 31.5 Trillion debt limit or face default and meltdown.

It looks like a macabre shopping list, but it doesn’t even include all the items sent. Tens of thousands of tons of material, tens of billions of dollars.

..Un año después, las mujeres de Federico se reúnen de nuevo en la Huerta de San Vicente ante la llamada de Novia, pero ellas ya no son las mismas y el entorno también ha cambiado por un paisaje sombrío y bañado en rojo. El encuentro se complicará cuando las protagonistas descubran que García Lorca creó un manuscrito sobre sus nuevas vidas que deja una puerta abierta a que otros personajes se adueñen de la historia. Las mujeres se darán cuenta de que algo no va bien cuando ocurran situaciones extrañas en la casa y su angustia irá en aumento con los rumores de que los hombres de Federico (las antiguas parejas o amantes de ellas) quieren llegar hasta el lugar con propósitos desconocidos. Solo la magia y mantenerse juntas podrán ayudarlas a enfrentarse a la incertidumbre y a los peligros que les depara esa imprevista llegada...

Si bien en la primera parte de la trilogía de ficción,«Las mujeres de Federico»(2021), editada también por Lunwerg, se narra el cambio en los destinos de las mujeres lorquianas de principios del siglo XX, que se zafan del encorsetamiento al que están designadas por su género, esta vez se tropezarán en más de una ocasión con las violencias machistas.

Sin embargo, en este desalentador contexto, la sororidad se abrirá paso y se convertirá en una poderosa herramienta para salir adelante.
