Nahuel is the only one of the 5 Madrid Straight Edge activists who is still imprisoned, with no bail, after being seized in a police raid on 4th Nov 2015. As usual there is almost no evidence of ‘wrongdoing’. Nahuel is in jail to intimidate other young anarchists, and because the police especially hate their successful vegan, anti-drug, ‘straight edge’ campaign

Pretrial detention of Nahuel continues

More than one week after the court hearing on January 18, the court dismissed the bail hearing and Nahuel continues in custody indefinitely. In this situation we call the anarchist solidarity.

On Monday January 18 court hearing took place in the High Court to assess the appeal before the current situation remand fellow Juan Manuel Bustamante Vergara (Nahuel). After over a week of waiting we have reported that the appeal has been dismissed.

Today we got information 18.03.2015 on our companion Jose Antunez.he is very bad, from yesterday to today he has lost 1kg. being already in 64 kg of 89 kg beforehand.. .25 lost.his body starts to not tolerate water… for two days he’s been spewing all that enters your body.believed to be due within 5 days of thirst strike that he did recently. And now this is the toll... his blood pressure is very high and unbalanced. He is minded and determined to resist, continuing the struggle and plantandole face the vengeance of the prison system. we only have words of thanks to all the comrades who sympathize with him. Last week 11 people were arrested when 450 cops raided anarchist social centers and homes, mainly in Barcelona.Finally seven of them, five women and 2 men, were denied bail and dragged off to Madrid prisons, on orders of the High Court, notoriously controlled by the neo-fascist ruling PP party in the Spanish State.
