The less the merrier!
All that we have received baptism shortly after birth, we become part of the Church of Rome must automatically. Our family was pressured to act by habit and tradition, and the ecclesiastical institution, taking advantage of a time when we were not able to accept or reject this faith, abused its power. Now that we have developed our skills of reflection we exercise our right to free choice of our thoughts and beliefs, and we decided to remove ourselves, we decided to apostasy: The abandonment or renunciation of a religious or political belief.
Apostasy, why?
Because we refuse to be part of an institution that has held power over the practice of torture, genocide and ethnocide worldwide for nearly twenty centuries.
Because we refuse to be part of an institution that is treasured for centuries enormous wealth, and which preaches love while performing mafia practices to strengthen their disproportionate economic power.
Because we refuse to be part of an institution that has been devoted, especially in the last three hundred years, to hinder the progress of humanity by imposing absurd dogmas and accused the heresy of reason and science, to preserve their privileges.
Because we do not accept Catholic moral discourse that commands us how we enjoy our bodies and how and whom we love, following precepts restrictive than even the clergy applied in practice.
Because we refuse to be part of an institution that relegates women to the role of mothers and wives, denying us any other way to lead our lives as free and autonomous individuals.
Because we refuse to be part of an institution that ultimately uses his power to order that the way we think, feel and act, and has directed and still directs the operation of social relations and cultural practices, and always in favor of the Confederacy’s most powerful bodies.
We refuse to be part of an institution that makes us guilty by the mere fact exist and that dictates a life of suffering and resignation in the face of injustice.
