All those arrested have now been released with charges .
Público reported : ” The 19 antifascists arrested in police operation Thursday demonstration at the Complutense University of Madrid on 20 – N have been released with charges after giving evidence at the headquarters of the Courts of the Plaza Castile .
Surrounded by a thousand people , who came to the court in a demonstration from Genoa street , the 17 young people have been released , although the judge imputes a crime against fundamental rights .
The National Police arrested the 19 antifascists yesterday morning in violent dawn raids on their homes- two of them were previously released for health reasons.
The arrests were linked to an incident after anti fascist protests in the Faculty of Law at the Complutense University on 20 November with a group of right wing students from the conservative private university of Francisco de Vitoria. Some of the arrests may be connected with a womens ‘right to choose’ picket on an anti abortion march last week, when 5 Femen protestors were also arrested.
Several of the detained were members of anarchist CNT and CGT unions.

Following these arrests , a group of 200 people picketed Thursday afternoon in front of the police station in the city center of Moratalaz , ending with police charges in which officers arrested 11 other protesters. They were finally released too early in the afternoon. “

This law ” becomes a model fror an authoritarian abolition of freedom ‘… muzzling the population , to increase the rate of profit at any cost of capital : human, social , political and ecological “, adds CGT.
” This ‘ freedom- law ‘ continues, CGT- grants to entrepreneurs , bankers , economists and their executives any body or public , national or supranational administration and the repressive forces (police of all kinds) , ” carte blanche “to be above any justice and go unpunished for their actions in repression and theft of all our rights.
CGT believes that ” the political power , rule by political parties PSOE or PP, laws are being used as weapons of mass destruction against the rights and freedoms of citizens.” In this sense, states that CGT will continue fighting ” ….The working people must not allow a return to authoritarianism and lack of freedom. The people must not allow the story of fear, and Peace of Cemeteries to be repeated. …’’”

News is coming in daily of more arrests and heavy fines of anyone resisting the extreme right offensive being sponsored by the Spanish PP government. In Barcelona the ‘Facebook Five’ were finally granted bail after months in prison , basically for publishing anti-state graphics, A second group of five anarchists from Chile were also arrested and accused of a ‘’bombing’’, damaging a few benches in a church, and two of nthem are still being held.

El diario Público ha informado: “Los 17 antifascistas detenidos en la operación policial del jueves por la manifestación en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid el pasado 20- N han quedado en libertad con cargos, tras prestar declaración en la sede de los Juzgados de la Plaza de Castilla.
Arropados por un millar de personas, que han llegado hasta la sede judicial en manifestación desde la calle de Génova, los 17 jóvenes han quedado libres, aunque el juez les imputa un delito contra los derechos fundamentales, según han explicado fuentes del Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Madrid.
La Policía Nacional detuvo ayer por la mañana a 19 antifascistas -dos de ellas liberadas anteriormente por problemas de salud- tras las protestas en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Complutense el pasado 20 de noviembre, en el que resultaron heridas cinco personas de la asociación de ideología conservadora 
Francisco de Vitoria.
A raíz de estas detenciones, un grupo de 200 personas se manifestó el jueves por la tarde frente a la comisaría de Policía en el barrio madrileño de Moratalaz, acabando con cargas policiales en las que los agentes detuvieron a otros 11 manifestantes. Fueron puestos en libertad también a primera hora de la tarde.”
