For centuries, medical science has been one of the main enemies of the body and sexuality of women, silencing and pathologizing anatomical realities and everything that did not fit within the parameters of phallocracy, binary heterosexuality and gender roles.

DIANA J. TORRES, (Madrid, 1981) was raised in a loving and anti-authoritarian working-class family with strong artistic interests. ‘Thus I had the privilege of growing up in an environment where imagination, expression and freedom were the only ways forward. So when he came into contact with the so-called real world, it seemed a terrible place to live’.

Frustrated and disappointed, she became a feminist and fighter and began to show her discontent with poetry in clubs, before embarking on radical performance, literary work, direct action and organizing events. As part of her feminist activism, Diana has given over 100 workshops on female ejaculation in various places in Europe and Mexico.

In 2011, she published her first book , ‘Pornoterrorism’, which was later published in Mexico by SurPlus (2013) and translated into French (Gatuzain, 2013) and Italian (Malatempora, 2014).

De este modo tuvo el privilegio de crecer en un entorno donde la imaginación, la expresión y la libertad eran los únicos caminos a seguir. Así, cuando entró en contacto con el llamado mundo real, se le hizo un terrible lugar donde habitar. Frustrada y decepcionada, devino feminista y luchadora y empezó a mostrar su descontento mediante los recitales de poesía en antros, antes de embarcarse en la performance radical, el trabajo literario, la acción directa y la organización de eventos. Interview with Diana J. Torres -Diana Pornoterrorista- about her new book “Powerful Pussy”  by MARTA MOLAS 

We spoke with Diana J. Torres –aka the Pornoterrorist- an artist, feminist and fighter, on her role as writer. On April 18 she landed in Barcelona after an intense tour around the Spanish state to present her second and latest book Potent Pussy ( (Coño Potens)in Spanish) a manual and essay on female ejaculation that reclaims and promotes the prostate as a great female organ.
End of your tour.. How did it go?

The tour was an amazing experience. The networks of feminist solidarity  worked much better than I thought and, like permaculture, the fruit of a long and continuous work in feminism, just arriving. I was surprised to have so many people willing to collaborate with the project in so many diverse places.
What will readers discover in Potent Pussy (Coño Potens) ?

In all presentations and in the book, I reject the idea of ​​discovery, especially when I talk about the issue of colonialism of our bodies. I do not pretend to discover anything, but have simply compiled some pages with all the knowledge that I have been collecting on the subject and put it at the disposal of people in book form. What interests me is to recover our access to information not discover anything…

Why describe the book as a pseudo-manual?

Initially the book was to be titled Ejaculation Manual. Finally, after writing it I thought the last thing I wanted was to be related to the factual scientific or technical manuals that are just that, tools to give instructions. However, I used the word  ‘manual’ because I think it is, in many ways, the closest to what the book is.

Besides reading the book, can you tell us some trick on how to find our prostates?

Finding the prostate is very simple: when we slip our fingers in our pussies (two or three centimeters inwards is enough) and press them to our pubic bone. There, against the bone, we find a structure that moves sideways when pressed and shrinks when we loosen the vagina because it is a muscle. This is our prostate.The theme of the prostate and ejaculation is only a small part of this.
So what about ejaculation?

To ejaculate outwards actually has no special trick. Also, I did not want to focus on that because it is absolutely irrelevant to our pleasure. All pussies without exception ejaculate in moments of intense pleasure, some inward (the vast majority, at least in Western societies or those colonized by the West) and others out. There is no special trick to creating this liquid: millennia of silence or repression are not cleared by magic.

Is the prostate the same as the female G-spot?

No. The G spot is a half truth, hidden in euphemism, surrounded by mysteries. The prostate gland is a set of  glands whose size, positions and functions are similar in every woman .

How can I tell the difference between ejaculation and urine?

With your senses, with all of them. It doesn’t  seems like pee, it doesn’t smell like pee, …

Is it important for a woman to be able to ejaculate?

No. The important thing is knowing what you can do and why and how this haappens.

Why are you interested in investigating the prostate and female ejaculation?
Because of my feminist activism, I work mainly in the world of sexuality issues, around our bodies there revolves a whole galaxy of shit.. silences, lies and manipulations that exist to disempower us and to stop us having good sex and a healthy relationship with our bodies. The theme of the prostate and ejaculation is only a small part of this.  I decided to take it up and give some light to the subject..

The most difficult thing was to find information not manipulated by the patriarchy, which permeates science, culture, education … everything.
This is your second book, after Pornoterrorismo, it’s a Self-Managed project. Is this is the only way to do feminism in this country?

It is the only way to do feminism that interests me. There are various feminisms, some  don’t annoy so much the system,  many, in fact, are part of it. But these kind of issues that interest me don’t fit in comfortably and Self Management is the only way to do it.

No government or institution would support projects that seek, from an anarchist viewpoint and with a clear intention, the destruction of  the established power.

What editorial  do you work with and what relationship do you have?

My publisher is the home of my words. It’s calledTxalaparta, an editorial in the Basque Country and is undoubtedly the best option I could have found. The deal is flexible, close, friendly. My relationship with them is political and emotional.
