Almost 90 tribes have expressed solidarity with the protests against a controversial pipeline that crosses through Indigenous land.

A federal judge extended a temporary restraining order for another two weeks on “unlawful protest” against construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline, a move that comes as activists say their peaceful actions are attracting broader support.
