Jinha News Agency continues on Twitter, although the Internet is also closed down for millions of  Kurds in 11  cities.

 JINHA News Offices have been closed down and sealed this morning by the police of the conservative Islamist regime of R. T. Erdogan. The news agency offered written and audiovisual content about women in general and globally.
Its closure is a victory for machismo that wants women invisible, his voice and his worldview. The last few remaining Kurdish media including Women only news agency JINHA & DIHA, Azadiya Welat were closed with new statutory decrees in Turkey.

Erdogan succeeded in his coup of July 15, and now closes the media.

Not only that, yesterday 1,267 more Turkish academic teaching staff were sacked. And, as always, a huge silence, bitter and infinite, from world public opinion, and especially its institutions. This is  impunity.

JINHA News ha quedat precintada aquest matí. Ahir fou clausurada pel règim islamista conservador de R. T. Erdogan. L’agència de notícies oferia continguts escrits i audiovisuals sobre aspecte de les dones en general i a nivell mundial. El seu tancament suposa una victòria del masclisme que vol invisibilitzar les dones, la seva veu i la seva visió del món. La seu a Amed ha quedat tancada.

Water is sacred, it gives life to everything and without water there is no life. Non-violent direct action Water Protectors have tried to stop construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline (aka DAPL), which will traverse four states.

The Water Protectors are concerned oil will leak into the tribe’s water supply. Other tribes and environmental groups are among those who have joined the tribe’s cause and as of Sept. 26, 2016 there are 280 nations and allies with more than 4,000 people making Standing Rock the 15th largest city in No. Dakota, but they need OUR help.

UPDATE 10-30-16:Approximately 12:50 this morning a vehicle was spotted zigzagging on the west side of Hwy 1806, the hillside was lit on fire. The vehicle then left the area. Approximately 1 am Law enforcement was notified, the 911 operator said there was no fire and hung up…

There are around 1500 unaccompanied refugee children still in Calais, due to what can only be drscribed as the bureaucratic incompetence of the French and British governments. Now the daughter of Sir Nicholas Winton, who died in 2015 and who organised the famous Kindertransport in 1939 to save hundreds of Jewish children from the Nazi concentration camps, has appealed for a similar initiative to rescue those children still stuck in the French port. But there are tens of thousands more unaccompanied refugee children scattered across Europe. Allowing this crisis to worsen is nothing else but a crime of mega proportions.

In an open letter sent to Home Secretary Amber Rudd, Barbara Winton says:

Those who have travelled across Europe to Calais, to escape the life-threatening dangers of their home country, are hoping desperately to find the sanctuary their parents dared…

Turkish Bombers Excluded from Syria after massacring Kurds and Democratic forces (SDF)

info from AL-BAB (Kurdish daily News) – Since Oct 22 Turkey’s Air Forces are blocked from continuing their aerial campaigns in Syria as part of their Euphrates Shield operation, as Syria has activated its  S-200 (and possibly S-300) air defense systems against the bombing by Turkish warplanes in Syrian airspace.

 The Turkish Air Forces launched their last air-strike in Syria on Oct. 22, on positions of Kurdish YPG/YPJ forces, which are a big part of the SDF, a fast growing democratic, non-ethnic, non religious, anti-sexist grouping which has partial US support.

EQUIPMENT TORCHED, BARRICADES BURNED IN ND AS #NODAPL SOLIDARITY PROTESTS SPREAD

 

Solidarity actions are springing up around the country in response to the massive police raid on the “frontlines” camp in Standing Rock against the Dakota Access Pipeline. The eviction saw hundreds of militarized police attack the encampment with armored vehicles, tasers, pepper spray, concussion grenades, LRADS, and good old fashioned bone crushing batons.

In response warriors set up burning barricades, threw rocks, torched several large pieces of pipeline machinery and 2 security vehicles, and briefly invaded an active construction site. The Sheriff is also claiming that molotovs were thrown at police and that there were two incidents involving gunfire. At least one burning barricade was maintained through the night. While the frontlines camp has been evicted, the main encampments are still going strong and asking for supporters to join them. We Support the Revolutionaries Accused of Aachen Bank Robberies..

The gang hit for the first time at the Aachener Bank in July 2012. Around noon, they ran into the bank and demanded money at gunpoint. Then they shut the bank employees in one room. One woman wearing a blond wig, sunglasses. They spoke good German.

The Dutch press reports highlighted that the German police had been harassing and seeking to arrest the Dutch woman dubbed by them and the predatory media as the ‘leader’ for years and she had previously been held for 5 months and released as there was no evidence.restemos-personas2rescue people not banks

The Dutch anarchists who demonstrated and continue to campaign for the release of the 3 described the charges as fabricated. The leaflets and declarations emphasize support for the arrested comrades whether ‘guilty’ or ‘innocent’ and some justified bank expropriations in the context of trillion euro bank fraud, capitalist extortion and planetary destruction. The police claim they have ‘DNA trace evidence’ on at least one of the women, but of course thousands of people go to banks, DNA evidence is unreliable, easy to plant and left behind on all kinds of objects..

UN VOTES TO OUTLAW NUCLEAR WEAPONS.. TALKS BEGIN 2017

The United Nations today adopted a landmark resolution to launch negotiations in 2017 on a treaty outlawing nuclear weapons. This historic decision heralds an end to two decades of paralysis in multilateral nuclear disarmament efforts.

At a meeting of the First Committee of the UN General Assembly, which deals with disarmament and international security matters, 123 nations voted in favour of the resolution, with 38 against and 16 abstaining.

The resolution will set up a UN conference beginning in March next year, open to all member states, to negotiate a “legally binding instrument to prohibit nuclear weapons, leading towards their total elimination”.
