Turkey vs Rojava: false videos inflame hatred of Kurds.. Defend the SDF!

”Media fabrications by the Turkey-loyal [ie mercenary] groups continue spreading videos showing men dressed as  members of the Syria Democratic Forces torturing and beating citizens, in order to create  Arab–Kurdish strife in the east Euphrates area and northeast of Aleppo”.

”The latest of these is a video showing members dressed as SDF, speaking in Kurdish, and torturing an Arab family, who they beat, insult, and do immoral acts to. Also the video shows a car belonging to Asayish [SDF security] with SDF flag next to it, which was met with angry reactions on social media.

But a lot of evidence proves the fabrication of this fake video: it shows the speaker saying that these are women fleeing forced recruitment, but there is no forced recruitment for women within SDF;

also their uniform is different from the dress of the SDF; …also the car in the video belongs to Asayish and their uniform is also different from the  SDF; …also, the video was circulated as if it was in Manbij but there is no presence of SDF flags and cars in that city;  also the SDF have always rejected all forms of torture and abuse against Syrian citizens of any party.

Such primitive fabricated videos appear successively at a time when Turkey is poised to launch a military campaign east of Euphrates, aiming to create Arab – Kurdish strife, which has been met the anger by some citizens, just like previous videos of killing, raping, and torture”.

Various reports are claiming that Turkey has been training islamist refugees and has prepared jihadi militias in Idlib,  Afrin, Azaz.. to occupy and exterminate locals after the pending invasion.

Turkey has a huge modern NATO military controlled by the elected dictator Erdogan, and has destroyed parts of many Kurdish cities like Cizre and Nusaybin inside Turkey and invaded and occupied Afrin, Al Bab,parts of Iraq etc, in a continuing massive and multi faceted military  and political clampdown on autonomous and feminist organising and demands for basic human rights.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 13th of July 2019, that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that the Turkish Intelligence intends to hold training courses for Syrian fighters loyal to Turkey on the Turkish territory.

Turkey has trained hundreds of members of the police and security services in the areas of the “Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield”, inside its camps, and graduated several batches affiliated to the police bodies, while these preparations apparently come as a Turkish preparation for carrying out a new military operation inside Syrian territory, and as usual, the aim is the areas controlled by the Syria Democratic Forces and this time it (the military operation) will be in the Euphrates and Al-Jazeera.

”Sources from the leadership of the Syria Democratic Forces confirmed that they strongly welcome an Egyptian initiative in preventing the Turkish invasion of the east Euphrates area and the Syrian north, in the area controlled by Syria Democratic Forces, and discuss a solution to manage the north-east of Syria.

The Syrian Observatory monitored that the US Forces continue patrolling within the area between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and Manbij area, while the Syrian Observatory monitored yesterday that the regime forces, who were deployed last Friday on the contact lines in the northern and western countryside of Manbij, , have completed their withdrawal from the northern and north-western areas of Manbij countryside .. so that there will be no frictions between them (the regime forces) and between the American patrols in the area, which are still conducting patrols in Manbij countryside, despite the Turkish threats of carrying out a military operation in the area”.

The SOHR also published on the 20th of November 2018, that the Turkish authorities are supervising on forming sleeper cells that active within areas of control of the Syria Democratic Forces east of Euphrates. In the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the Turkish authorities are forming cells under the supervision of their Intelligence service, composed mostly from people of al-Raqqah and Deir Ezzor provinces.

Their training is being overseen in secret training camps within areas of control of the Euphrates Shield Operation (Turkish) Forces, in occupied Afrin and in the northern countryside of Aleppo, where they are trained in  bombings and assassinations.

The sources confirmed the process of forming the cells and sending them to areas east of the Euphrates;

These cells then work to carry out assassinations against leading, political, and military personalities in addition to trying to create a rift between components of the society within the east of Euphrates area.
