Los transportistas iniciarán una huelga con carácter indefinido a partir de las 00:00 de este lunes 14 marzo. La misma está convocada por la Plataforma de Defensa del Sector del Transporte de Mercancías por Carretera Nacional e Internacional y se dirige “a todo tipo de transporte y de toda clase de ámbito”.
Los motivos de este paro son dos: el aumento del coste de los combustibles (que se ha incrementado un 20% desde que se inició la invasión rusa a Ucrania) y las malas condiciones laborales de los trabajadores.
La propia plataforma, que representa a pymes y autónomos de todo el país, sostiene que “el 90% de las empresas de transporte (medianas y pequeñas) nos encontramos en una situación económica de quiebra total, al igual que las condiciones laborales son de total precariedad en todos los sentidos. Consecuencias que pagan de manera directa todos los conductores asalariados a los cuales defenderemos en las demandas exigidas”.
De esta forma, la plataforma entiende como insuficiente el acuerdo que alcanzó el Gobierno antes de Navidad con las patronales y que derivó en la cancelación de las movilizaciones anunciadas para esa fecha. Cabe recordar que las medidas que incluían dicho acuerdo han quedado plasmadas en un decreto-ley que ha sido aprobado por el Consejo de Ministros el pasado 1 de marzo.
Las reivindicaciones
Tal y como informa Diario de Transporte, la Plataforma de Defensa del Sector del Transporte de Mercancías por Carretera Nacional e Internacional pide al ministerio de Transportes, Movilidad y Agenda Urbana la prohibición de la contratación de servicios de transporte de mercancía por carretera por debajo de los costes de explotación y la limitación de la intermediación en el contrato de transporte a un solo contratista.
A su vez, también exige una ley que prohíba la carga y descarga por parte de los conductores y un decreto que limite esas labores a un tiempo máximo de una hora desde la llegada, o desde la hora pactada.
Por otro lado, al ministerio de Trabajo y Economía Social le exige la jubilación a los 60 años para los conductores profesionales (al ser una profesión clasificada de alto riesgo) y el reconocimiento de la totalidad de las enfermedades profesionales derivadas esta actividad, tanto para los conductores asalariados como para los autónomos.
El paro no cuenta con el apoyo de las principales patronales
El Comité Nacional del Transporte por Carretera (CNTC), la Federación Nacional de Asociaciones de Transporte de España (Fenadismer) y la Confederación Española de Transporte de Mercancías (CETM) ya han confirmado que no apoyan esta huelga.
Esta última, la CETM ha manifestado que hay que alejarse de “oportunismos cortoplacistas” y ha asegurado que “no es el momento” de secundar un paro de transportes, y menos aún si es indefinido y “sin objetivos claros”, porque “solo servirá para desestabilizar aún más la complicada situación” tras la invasión de Ucrania por parte de Rusia.

La Organización Empresarial de Logística y Transporte pide la intervención del Gobierno
La Organización Empresarial de Logística y Transporte de España ha alertado de ”graves complicaciones” en la cadena de suministros por el paro indefinido de transportistas y ha solicitado ”la intervención inmediata del Gobierno para garantizar la seguridad y evitar, así, un posible desabastecimiento”.

El puerto de Bilbao se ve afectado a causa de la huelga
En Bilbao, la segunda jornada de huelga ha dejado en tierra a la flota de bajura vasca, que ha suspendido las costeras de anchoa y verdel, y los pescadores han tomado la decisión de no trabajar hasta el lunes, ya que comprenden que no está garantizada la distribución de las capturas.

En Madrid un huelguista ha resultado herido por un disparo de bala
La pasada madrugada, un miembro de un piquete informativo resultaba herido de bala en San Fernando de Henares (Madrid) a la entrada de un polígono industrial. Cuando un camión intentó salir, varios huelguistas se abalanzaron sobre él, le rompieron la luna delantera y las ventanillas y uno de ellos intentó incluso sacar al conductor de la cabina.
