This will become the norm as corporations will not offer an alternative to consumers. So whilst the government say it’s not compulsory, individuals will be left with little choice but to comply in order to access services.
This is digital identity requirements being adopted by stealth.
I hate the always authoritarian Russian State leaders, but along with millions of Europeans I used to check out RT regularily, because it actually tries to report the news, albeit from a Russian point of view, making mass Western outlets seem like pathetic spam.
Indeed recently RT has reportedly been more popular than than the official German DW channels and recently Germany flagrantly banned its new 24 hour TV channel the day it began. RT’s video channels were hugely popular and I was happy to view in depth scientific and world journalism, withiout suddenly transforming like Dracula into a ‘Putin Stooge’.
Now there’s an existential war in Russia, and RT English coverage is more obviously censored.
Even so they go over the top in reporting Western viewpoints, maybe because they are appealing the EU banning order, and I read various comments with Russian names complaining that RT should be more Russian based.
Compare with any Western outlet brandishing headlines of dubious “massacres” (eg. the great Mariupol ‘Atrocity’ where only 3 were reported killed, and those disputed) and a daily diet of “carpet bombing Kiev” which remains unflattened.
I’m not supporting Russia, but for me the greater danger is that western mass hysteria induced to support the Covid crackdown has been channeled into fanatic irrational war fever, resulting in crazy unprecedented ‘sanctions’ likely to cause a Global crash and World War, with all its consequences. The place of the evil ‘UNVAXXED’ is now taken by the evil ‘RUSSIAN DISINFORMATION’.

The streets of the main cities of territory dominated by the Chilean State, on a day like today, March 8, two years ago were filled with thousands of people who with colors, shouts, slogans, fire and barricades make visible and/or attacked to the macho scourge.
Today the streets are hardly filled with a few bodies. Many prefer to wait for the changes so promised by the new government, from the comfort of their homes, changes that promise to end heteropatriarchal machismo among the inhabitants of this territory.
The expectation for new public policies and reforms in “gender issues” has raised hope in a part of feminist groups and individuals, sexual dissidents and in practically all sectors sucks social democratic flags.
Unfortunately, the hopes and expectations were left only in that, because the heteropatriarchy will not end with any legal reform or with social aid.
Unfortunately, heteropatriarchy is part of the economic, social and cultural system that dominates us. It’s everywhere!
We find it in the way we see ourselves and each other. In the way we relate, in how they subject us, etc.
There is no being that is not affected by the patriarchy, but without a doubt, sexist attacks are not the same for men as for women or transsexuals, queers, queers, lesbians, without victimizing these last 5 are the most affected.
Today power dresses in fashion, takes on feminist and sexual dissidence outfits, and why wouldn’t it? If everyone has a place in the democratic party, everyone can be represented in the institutions, we can all have the same constitutional rights.
The powerful can take these or other clothes in order to perpetuate themselves in power, just as they can launch various initiatives to improve the living conditions of women and sexual dissidence, but the exercise of power, therefore, state domination will not end.
Changes in the way in which the powerful “humanize” subjugation or create a softer repressive apparatus or proclaim more inclusive laws for different groups, should not be part of the struggles of those who really want radical destruction in all forms of oppression.
For something to radically change everyone, we all have to act without delegates, or intermediaries, or waiting.
Today those who do not wait for others to break their chains, who here and now want to destroy the patriarchy, take to the streets.
Direct action against the sexists!
Let all institutions burn to the ground!
Reuters reports that Facebook and Instagram are now allowing calls for the death of Russians and Russian leaders in exemption from the platforms’ hate speech terms of service due to the war in Ukraine:
“Meta Platforms will allow Facebook and Instagram users in some countries to call for violence against Russians and Russian soldiers in the context of the Ukraine invasion, according to internal emails seen by Reuters on Thursday, in a temporary change to its hate speech policy.”
Twitter has also altered its rules against incitement and death threats in the case of Russian leaders and military personnel, as Ben Norton explains here for Multipolarista.
Last month we also learned that Facebook is now allowing users to praise the Ukrainian neo-Nazi Azov Battalion because of the war, a move that is arguably the most liberal thing that has ever happened.
On March 11, the Kremlin approved the involvement of foreign militants in military operations in Ukraine along with the joint Russian, DPR and LPR military. The decision was made in response to the massive recruitment of foreign fighters by the Kiev military officials.
Russian President Vladimir Putin approved the proposal to attract foreign volunteers in order to support DPR and LPR forces in the Donbass region during his meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council.
“As for the gathering of mercenaries from all over the world and sending them to Ukraine, we see that they do not hide it, the Western sponsors of Ukraine, the Ukrainian regime, do not hide it, they do it openly, ignoring all norms of international law,” Putin said during the meeting.
The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov explained such a decision with the idea of strengthening of the DPR and LPR People’s Militias. There is also the Kremlin’s intention to show that there are those willing to fight along Russian forces against the Ukrainian nationalists, or more globally against the Western hegemony.
“In general, there is a flow of volunteers. There are mercenaries, a huge number of paid mercenaries who come to Ukraine to take part in hostilities against our (Russian) military. At the same time, applications are being received from volunteers who want to take part on a free basis in what, in their opinion, is actually a national liberation struggle,” the Kremlin spokesman said.
“This is what we are talking about. As the Western world welcomes the arrival of these motley mercenaries from different countries of the world, then there are volunteers from this side too. There are also volunteers who want to take part in this,” he added.
It was clarified that the matter is not about Russians, who would like to join the military, but mainly about those “who applied from the Middle East, including from Syria.”
Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu indicated that the conscription of about 16,000 foreign volunteers was planned.
A unit of the Armed Forces of the Central African Republic has released a video saying that they are ready to fight with Russia against Ukrainian nationalists:

The involvement of the foreign servicemen, including from Syria, in military activities in Ukraine may fasten the mopping-up operations in the currently blockaded cities, as they have the necessary experience after years of fighting against terrorists of all kinds in Syria.
At the same time, the Kremlin’s decision to deploy foreign militants on the Ukrainian battlefield may damage the Russian “military PR campaign”, as such a move may also be treated as indication that the Russian operations have stalled and new reinforcement is needed.

On the other hand, the Ukrainian side claimed that almost 20,000 foreign fighters from 52 countries had joined the fight against the “Russian aggressors”, according to the claims of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba made a week ago.
