Israeli occupation forces, detained thirteen Palestinian civilians, and shot six others with live rounds during military invasions into different parts of the occupied West Bank, local sources reported.

On Sunday evening, an undercover Israeli force (Musta’ribeen) stormed Al-Ram town, northeast of occupied Jerusalem and abducted a Palestinian young man identified as Muhammad Abu Sobeih.

Occupation forces detained, on Sunday evening, a resident of Silwan town in Jerusalem, identified as; Zain Simrin, while he was close to Bab Al-Asbat or Lion’s Gate, one of the main gates leading to the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

East of Bethlehem, in the southern occupied West Bank, the army invaded and searched the home of a Palestinian young man, identified as; Muhannad Abu Qadoum, before detaining him.

Soldiers stormed, at dawn Sunday, the Al-Jalazoun refugee camp north of Ramallah, in the central West Bank, triggering fierce confrontations by local Palestinian youths.

The army shot five young men with live rounds, one of whom was struck in the abdomen, and subsequently transferred to a local hospital for medical intervention, while four young men were shot in their legs with “Toto” expanding bullets.

Three civilians, identified as; Saeed Nakhleh, 64, a former prisoner, Amr Khalil Amer, 20, and Ahmed Mahmoud Amer, 18, were all detained by the occupation army.

Soldiers brutally assaulted the 18-year-old during the course of his detention, sources said.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces invaded, at dawn Sunday, the Balata refugee camp southeast of Nablus in the northern part of the West Bank, and Salem village, east of Nablus and detained one.

Soldiers stormed and searched the home of Othman Issa, in Salem village, before detaining him.

At dawn Sunday, occupation soldiers invaded various areas of the Jenin governorate in the northern part of the West Bank, shooting one and detaining two.

Soldiers also invaded and searched the homes of Bashar Kanaan Abu Oun and Aziz Anas Abbas in Jaba’ town, southwest of Jenin, and detained them.

Local youths protested the invasion which led to the army opening fire with live rounds, rubber-coated steel rounds and tear gas canisters at them, shooting one young man with a live round in the abdomen.

The injured young man was transferred to hospital in Jenin for medical intervention,

Furthermore, soldiers invaded and searched the homes of Tariq Jarrar, and Saed Ahmed Al-Eissa, in Sanur village southwest of Jenin, before detaining them.

Palestinian young men protested the invasion, which occupation soldiers responded to by firing tear gas canisters and concussion grenades at those who resisted the incursion. No injuries were reported.

Moreover, the army invaded and searched a number of civilian homes in the village of Mirka, southwest of Jenin, and detained Nasser Mousa and Ali Nafe’ Ali from their homes.
