‘Tens of Thousands’ of Native Children Discovered in 50 Mass Grave Sites at Gov’t-Run Schools

It is no secret that the United States of America has a deeply dark and disturbing history in regard to how Native Americans were treated in this country. After wiping out large portions of the indigenous populations with European diseases, the federal government took to forcibly assimilating the remaining population in government institutions.

In the 19th and 20th centuries, hundreds of federal schools were set up across the country in which Native children were taken from their families and tribes to be re-educated into the American way of life. Within these facilities, tens of thousands of children were both physically and sexually abused as “teachers” forced them to talk, dress and act “American.”

In these boarding schools, children were prohibited from speaking their Native American language and forced to assimilate into society. The abuse they suffered at the hands of staff was often times fatal and many of these schools began digging mass grave sites as a result.

A new study conducted by the interior department has given us glimpse into the deeply disturbing nature of these schools. The study found more than 50 burial sites, in which they suspect tens of thousands of native children have been buried — and, they expect that number to grow.

The study is far from complete, but some of the findings are being released as they focus on trying to identify the children and their tribal affiliations.

“The consequences of federal Indian boarding school policies – including the intergenerational trauma caused by the family separation and cultural eradication inflicted upon generations of children as young as four years old – are heartbreaking and undeniable,” Deb Haaland, the interior secretary, said in a statement.

The study uncovered the fact that hundreds of schools, ran and funded by the federal government, operated in 37 states, with many of them in Oklahoma, Arizona and New Mexico.

The US government ran several hundred of these schools while it provided funding to Catholic, Protestant and other churches who ran their own schools to “civilize” Native Americans.

“It is my priority to not only give voice to the survivors and descendants of federal Indian boarding school policies, but also to address the lasting legacies of these policies so Indigenous Peoples can continue to grow and heal,” Haaland said.

Haaland, who is Laguna, said they have found 53 mass graves of children who died or were killed in the government facilities. The number of children buried in these graves sites could total in the “tens of thousands,” according to the study.

“Many of those children were buried in unmarked or poorly maintained burial sites far from their Indian Tribes, Alaska Native Villages, the Native Hawaiian Community, and families, often hundreds, or even thousands, of miles away,” the report said.

It was nothing short of genocide and it happened in this country, sponsored by and carried out by this government.

Though the current US regime is attempting to make a truth and healing commission in an effort to set things right, Native Americans in the United States still face an uphill battle — up to and including many of them being stripped of their right to vote and or senselessly killed.

Native American people are killed in police encounters more than any other ethnic group and their killers often escape accountability. As TFTP reported, Ashland County Sheriff’s Deputy Brock Mrdjenovich shot and killed a Native American child on Bad River Indian Reservation in northern Wisconsin and face no consequences.

It should come as no surprise that a county riddled with mass graves full of Native children thinks that putting them on reservations and apologizing is somehow “justice.”

Ukraine’s Spending On War And Difficult Situation On Front Lines

NBASS#RUSSIA15.05.2022-19323 views 4.3 (21 votes)Support SouthFront

On May 12, Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said in an interview with Reuters that Ukraine had already spent 245.1 billion hryvnias (about $8.3 billion) on the war with Russia. According to Marchenko, the budget funds provided for development were spent on the military needs from the purchase and repair of weapons to emergency aid for internally displaced persons. The Ukrainian government collected only 60% of the planned tax revenues in April. In May and June this figure may fall down to 45-50%.

“Kiev needs foreign financial support as Ukraine is forced to allocate billions of dollars for emergency expenses. The Finance Ministry estimates that it needs $5 billion a month to finance the state budget,” the minister claimed.

Meanwhile, the situation on the front lines remains tense. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are facing a strong onslaught of the Russian troops in the Donbass region.

In the Izyum region, after the Russian Armed Forces took control over the village of Dolgenkoe, they are advancing in the direction of Bogorodichnoye and Krasnopolye to the west of Sviatogorsk, according to the AFU General Staff.

In the Luhansk People’s Republic, units of the Russian and LPR armies are surrounding the AFU grouping in Lysychansk and Severodonetsk. The Russian army is regrouping troops in the Liman and Severodonetsk directions. A battalion tactical group deployed in the area of the Novy Aidar railway station has been reinforced.

Russian and LPR troops completed the mop up operation in the major chemical plant Zarya in Rubizhne, LPR. Russian, Chechen, and Luhansk flags were raised over the industrial facilities.

Anarchism and Spycops by Dave Morris

via Libcom.org by Dave Morris Submitted by Fozzie on May 12, 2022

An excerpt from the transcript of the UK’s Undercover Policing Inquiry in which anarchism is explained to its Chair, Sir John Mitting.

Taken from the transcript of the hearing on 11th May 2022.

On Monday, you, as the Chair of the Inquiry, indicated you had welcomed Tariq Ali when he gave evidence in 2020 in helpfully explaining Trotskyist ideas to you.

In the light of police misconceptions about anarchists in various disclosed documents, including annual reports, I will try to explain the predominant motivations, aims and activities of anarchists and the anarchist movement as I see it.

Standing up for the public interest against the rich and powerful.

As already outlined in my previous statements, I have been involved since 1974 in a range of groups and campaigns trying to encourage the public to support one another and empower themselves where they live and work to challenge injustice, oppression and damage to the environment, and to make the world a better place for everyone.

The various groups I have been involved in over the decades have been open and collectively run, and engaged in the kind of public activities which the public are invited to join in or to replicate for themselves, and which are essential if humanity is to progress and survive in the future.

Such groups, as we all should, question and challenge those institutions which wield power over people’s lives and control the world’s resources and decision-making.

These include governments, transnational corporations, military organisations and financial institutions.

Such powerful institutions are generally tightly controlled by a small, self-serving elite, continually obsessed with power and profit, and are ruthless and unaccountable.

A Monetary Reset Where the Rich Don’t Own Everything

from Human Wrongs Watch By Ellen Brown | Web of Debt – TRANSCEND Media Service*

We have a serious debt problem, but solutions such as the World Economic Forum’s “Great Reset” are not the future we want. It’s time to think outside the box for some new solutions.

In ancient Mesopotamia, it was called a Jubilee. When debts at interest grew too high to be repaid, the slate was wiped clean. Debts were forgiven, the debtors’ prisons were opened, and the serfs returned to work their plots of land.

This could be done because the king was the representative of the gods who were said to own the land, and thus was the creditor to whom the debts were owed. The same policy was advocated in the Book of Leviticus, though it is unclear to what extent this biblical Jubilee was implemented.

That sort of across-the-board debt forgiveness can’t be done today because most of the creditors are private lenders. Banks, landlords and pension fund investors would go bankrupt if their contractual rights to repayment were simply wiped out. But we do have a serious debt problem, and it is largely structural.

Governments have delegated the power to create money to private banks, which create most of the circulating money supply as debt at interest.

They create the principal but not the interest, so more money must be repaid than was created in the original loan. Debt thus grows faster than the money supply, as seen in the chart from Workable Economics.com below.

Debt grows until it cannot be repaid, when the board is cleared by some form of market crash such as the 2008 financial crisis, typically widening the wealth gap on the way down.

Geo-Engineering: Is it Game Over? New NASA video Report

by talesfromtheloublog shared with thanks

Global climate engineering operations have been pushed and propagated on the premise of cooling the planet by saturating Earth’s skies with sun-blocking aerosols.

The jet sprayed aerosols are intended to mimic the effect of extended volcanic eruptions.

A new NASA science study has now confirmed that extended volcanic eruptions caused long-term warming, not cooling. Worse, the ozone layer was decimated in the process.

This 5+ minute video exposes the flawed foundations of the climate engineering narrative and the grave dangers geoengineering operations pose to all life on Earth.

Hypocrisy! NATO member Turkey invades and bombs 2 Countries to genocide Kurds for years – NATO does nothing..

dijous, de maig 12, 2022 https://kurdiscat.b

While NATO and the West express horror at Russia invading Ukraine to protect ethnic Russians there is still silence at Turkey, a NATO member, invading, occupying and ethnically cleansing Afrin and other parts of North Syria for years on end.

see also Turkish occupation bombs villages west of Kobane

Turkey has also invaded Iraq where it has illegal bases and constantly bombs Kurdish and Yezidi minorities there , even with US made jets from the NATO base at Incirlik

Now Turkey openly tries to blackmail NATO itself to force a further crackdown on Kurdish exiles in Europe who protest attempted physical and cultural genocide by the ruling neo fascist regime.
