Thousands of people are demonstrating this 25-N through the streets of the main Spanish cities to raise their voices and denounce the “cruel sexist violence” suffered by women. The demonstration, called by various feminist assemblies from municipalities such as Santander, Torrelavega or Cabezón de la Sal, has had the institutional support of the Government of Cantabria and was attended by the regional president, Miguel Ángel Revilla.
The main streets of the Canarian capitals have also been filled with protesters who have asked in a manifesto “not to deny indecency”, as well as more public policies and resources to fight against this scourge.
The 25N in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria was bathed in violet and in a tide of more than half a thousand people. For its part, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the demonstration was led by a banner with the slogan “Sexist violence does not stop, transformative policies now”.

Se ha puesto el foco en las víctimas de la violencia machista, que ha dejado ya 1.171 mujeres asesinadas desde 2003.Miles de personas se están manifestando este 25-N por las calles de las principales ciudades españolas para alzar la voz y denunciar la «cruel violencia» machista que sufren las mujeres.
Al grito de «Ni una más» y «Basta ya», han mostrado su condena ante cualquier tipo de agresión y han querido recordar a las 38 asesinadas a manos de sus parejas en lo que llevamos de año.
En los diferentes puntos del país, diversas plataformas y movimientos feministas han organizado marchas por el Día de la Eliminación de la Violencia Contra las Mujeres. «Con o sin ropa, mi cuerpo no se toca», «Basta de agresiones sin respuesta», «No un hecho aislado, es el patriarcado» o «No es un arrebato, es un asesinato», han sido algunos de los lemas.
También mensajes como «No es no», «No quiero ser valiente, quiero ser libre» o «Si tocan a una, nos tocan a todas».También se ha puesto el foco en las víctimas de la violencia machista, que ha dejado ya 1.171 mujeres asesinadas desde 2003, y en la situación de riesgo de muchas de ellas. Así, en Albacete han destacado que una quinta parte de las víctimas tenía discapacidad, mientras que en Valencia han recordado a las mujeres y niñas iraníes y afganas que «están sometidas por el patriarcado religioso».
De Barcelona a Las Palmas: las manifestaciones inundan las ciudades españolas
Por otro lado, en Barcelona 3.000 personas, según la Guardia Urbana, han exigido el fin de las agresiones y la llamada cultura de la violación. Siguiendo la convocatoria del colectivo Noviembre Feminista, la manifestación ha partido de Paseo de Gracia con Rosellón y se ha desplazado hasta Gran Vía, donde ha tenido lugar la lectura del manifiesto y ha actuado Batucada Escandalera con el tema «El violador eres tú».
Miles de personas se han manifestado también por las calles de Valencia, donde la convocatoria ha arrancado a las 19.30 horas de la Porta del Mar de la capital, tras una pancarta con el lema «Dones vives i unides contra el masclisme», y está previsto que concluya en la plaza del Ayuntamiento, donde dos mujeres supervivientes de la violencia machista leerán un manifiesto.En Alicante, decenas de zapatos rojos y otras tantas sillas vacías han servido para recordar a cada una de las 38 mujeres asesinadas por sus parejas o exparejas durante este 2022 y que han simbolizado la repulsa hacia la violencia machista de la sociedad alicantina, que ha salido a la calle con tres concentraciones distintas para protestar contra esta «lacra».Los cántabros también han vuelto a recorrer este viernes las calles de Santander.
El morado ha vuelto a ser el color predominante este 25N en la capital cántabra, en una marcha en la que cientos de personas han llenado el paseo Pereda, para recorrer la distancia que hay entre Puertochico y la plaza del Ayuntamiento. La manifestación, convocada por diversas asambleas feministas de municipios como Santander, Torrelavega o Cabezón de la Sal, ha contado con el apoyo institucional del Gobierno de Cantabria y han acudido a ella el presidente regional, Miguel Ángel Revilla.Las principales calles de las capitales canarias también se han llenado de manifestantes que han pedido en un manifiesto «no negar la indecencia», así como más políticas públicas y recursos que luchen contra esta lacra.
