1. Targeting the enemy

The invasion of BlackRock HQ in Paris on April 6 by a crowd of angry protesters and strikers revealed to the world that something very important is happening in France.

From a long distance, it may look like just another trade-union-led fightback against an increase in the retirement age.

From a closer distance, it might be evident that more general grievances against the Macron regime have temporarily amplified that union-led struggle.

But, in reality, it goes a lot deeper than that.

The revolt is a continuation, in fact, of the Gilets Jaunes (Yellow Vests) uprising, which began in November 2018 and only came to an end with the Covid clamp-down.

Many Gilets Jaunes, unlike the top-down sold-out left, were involved in the massive wave of protest against vaccine passports that swept across the country in 2021.

Although the GJ uprising could itself be seen as continuation of previous struggles, such as those against the Loi Travail or in support of the ZAD at Notre-Dame des Landes, it represented a significant shift, which alarmed the authorities.

The movement was essentially uncontrollable, accepting no leadership or centralised structure, and also broke through the usual left-right divide, being a generalised revolt against the system.

The response of the Macron regime to the revolt only deepened the split between government and people.

The contempt, smears and brutal police violence unleashed against the GJs by the ruling clique, together with a refusal to take their demands seriously, shocked a large part of the French public.

This didn’t look like the kind of modern “Western” government that we are all used to, which likes to pretend to represent the people and to respond to their concerns.

Instead, Macron came across as a nasty tin-pot dictator, throwing his weight around with arrogant impunity.

Exactly the same thing has been happening in 2023. The government ignored weeks of massive and peaceful protesting, forced the law through parliament without a vote and then started banning demonstrations and mutilating protesters with military-style repression.

This looks less like a “liberal democracy” than a colonial government of occupation, determined to “put down the natives” at any cost.

And this, of course, is exactly what it is!

France is not run by representatives of the French people, but by representatives of the global money power, the criminal gang which owns pretty much everything, everywhere.

This power has decided to ditch the pretence at democracy so as to accelerate its control, under the pretext of various “emergencies”, whether Covid or climate.

The Kiev regime is busy exterminating the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), led by ultra nationalists who now control large sections of the army and claim the traditional Church is ‘Russian friendly’

Andrey Sadovoy, the mayor of Lviv in western Ukraine, declared on Thursday that the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) in his city was no more. Local authorities have finished the demolition of the Church of St. Vladimir, while the Church of St. George has been turned over to the government-backed Orthodox Church of Ukraine (OCU).

“Cynical” proclamations by President Vladimir Zelensky that his country is the paragon of religious freedom and democracy.

During the Epiphany on January 19, on Zelensky’s order, the Cabinet of Ministers submitted to the Rada a bill banning the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

The law is allegedly aimed at consolidating Ukrainian society. In fact, religious strife in Ukraine is nothing but undisguised fascism.

Fire damage at burned Church

The canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church has been facing pressure from nationalists since the 1990s. By 2018, this turned into a large–scale state campaign, after the Ukrainian authorities created from the schismatic organizations the so-called “Orthodox Church of Ukraine”, a competitor of the canonical church. Today they attempt to make this fictitious nationalist entity the only church in the country.

He is surrounded by Ukrainian officials and territorial defense fighters who are there to help him seize the church. see also.. Unable to force millions of believers to abandon their true faith, the Kiev regime began to persecute Ukrainian priests.

In recent weeks, local authorities across western Ukraine have seized UOC churches and turned them over to the OCU. 

Churchmen are charged with treason, subversive activities, and “spreading propaganda among parishioners.” The acting Chairman of the SBU claimed at the end of December that more than 50 criminal cases had been initiated against the priests, whom he called “”moles” in cassocks”.

Meanwhile, the government in Kiev has attempted to do the same to the Kiev Pechersk Lavra, the holiest Orthodox monastery in the country, which dates back to the 11th century. Metropolitan Pavel, the UOC abbott of the monastery, was arrested last week and accused by the Ukrainian security services of inciting religious hatred and “justifying and denying Russian military aggression.”

Catastrophic new Pentagon leaks on Friday detail more US national security secrets from Ukraine, the Middle East and China on social media. Officials suspect the disastrous revelations of US War Plans come from the Ukraine military or ‘a NATO ally damaged by the US bombing of Nord Stream’.

A more expanded document dump and leak of highly classified materials is being reported in the wake of the initial disclosure that memos related to US strategy in the Ukraine war appeared online, including material marked “Top Secret”. 

This time the leak appears more expansive: “A new batch of classified documents that appear to detail American national security secrets from Ukraine to the Middle East to China surfaced on social media sites on Friday, alarming the Pentagon and adding turmoil to a situation that seemed to have caught the Biden administration off guard,” The New York Times reported Friday evening.

“The scale of the leak — analysts say more than 100 documents may have been obtained — along with the sensitivity of the documents themselves, could be hugely damaging, U.S. officials said,” the report continues.

One senior intelligence official was quoted in the report as saying the leak is “a nightmare for the Five Eyes” – in reference to the intelligence-sharing nations of the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Earlier this week, the Pentagon unveiled a fresh $2.6-billion military assistance package for Kyiv, bringing total U.S. contributions to Ukraine’s war effort to $35.2 billion.

Like the Ukraine war plans earlier reported on by the Times, some of these latest documents appeared on Twitter and other social media platforms, and they include reports labeled with one of the highest classification ratings of “Secret/NoForn” – which means they are sensitive enough to not be shared with even foreign allies.

Thus the leaks clearly expose the lies of ‘NATO partners’ and ‘Ukrainian Democracy’, totally bypassing their European vassal States in favour of a US empire mentality.

Notably, some Russian sources have also raised the possibility that the leaks were part of a “disinformation campaign” by Kyiv and its allies. Indeed much of the Ukraine material was already available to sources close to the military, while other parts seem designed to show falsely that the Ukrainian army is ‘totally unprepared’ for the US directed imminent offensive.
