If you’re not thinking about the end of the world by now, you’re either braindead or stuck in some remote corner of the world, totally removed from access to news.
Last week we came closer to a nuclear conflict between the US and Russia than at any time since the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962.
Today we are even closer.
Most scenarios being bandied about in the western mainstream media that involve a nuclear conflict between Russia and the United States have Russia initiating the exchange by using nuclear weapons against Ukraine in response to deteriorating military, economic, and/or political conditions brought on by the US and NATO successfully leveraging Ukraine as a proxy to achieve the strategic defeat of Russia.
Understand, this is what both Ukraine and the Biden administration mean when they speak of Ukraine “winning the war.”
This is a continuation of the policy objective set forth by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin in April 2022, “to see Russia weakened to the degree that it can’t do the kinds of things that it has done in invading Ukraine,” meaning that Russia should “not have the capability to very quickly reproduce” the forces and equipment that it loses in Ukraine.
This policy has failed; Russia has absorbed four new territories—Kherson, Zaporizhia, Donetsk and Lugansk—into the Russian Federation, and the Russian defense industry has not only replaced losses sustained in the Ukrainian conflict, but is currently arming and equipping an additional 600,000 troops that have been added to the Russian military since February 2022.

Here at THE CHILD AND ITS ENEMIES we believe that youth autonomy is not only crucial to queer and trans liberation, but to anarchy itself. Governance is inherently based on projecting linear narratives of time and Development and gender onto our necessarily asynchronous and atemporal queer lives, and kids, teens, and everyone else affected by anti-child ageism are at the center of this form of oppression.
Our goal with the podcast is to create a space by and for kids and teens that challenges all forms of control and inspires us to create neuroqueer, feral, ageless networks of care.

The flimsy pretext for his imprisonment is for allegedly making exchanges between the euro and cryptocurrencies with a person who allegedly gained money from an e-commerce fraud.
Enric Duran, is famous for borrowing half a million euros in bank loans in order to donate the money to alternatives to capitalism after the Great Crash of 2008. He considers his jailing an attack by the capitalist system to “criminalize the use of cryptocurrencies”
At his trial in Barcelona the State banned his witnesses who aimed to expose the multi billion frauds of the banks themselves, So Robin (Enric) ‘did a runner’…
Enric has been imprisoned in France for more than three months and on Friday 28th Sept Friday finally testified in the courts of Nanterre, as his mother Fina Giralt explained . We hope the State will have to release him.
According to Fina, her son was arrested by the French police on June 10 in Paris, in the accommodation he had rented to sleep, and he spent two days in the police station and then was sent to prison.
Enric admitted defrauding 39 banks of 492,000 euros, but when the trial date arrived he did not appear and has lived in exile for 12 years since then.
“They must have followed him to his flat. He stopped communicating with us and the next day we learned that he had been arrested”, details Giralt, who believes that the French police “have taken advantage of the fact that he has been wanted by the Spanish justice to take him now under the false pretext of the exchange of cryptocurrencies”.
In 2008, Enric Duran became a public figure announcing that he had stolen the 492,000 euros from different banking entities, through loans that he had no intention of returning, with the aim of denouncing the capitalist and speculative financial model, and use the money “to build alternatives from social movements”.
“From 2006 to 2008, Duran took out 68 commercial and personal loans from a total of 39 banks with no guarantees or property as collateral. He had no intention of repaying the debts, and used the money to finance various anti-capitalist movements.[3]“
He was accused of defrauding 39 banks and forgery, and spent a few months in pre-trial detention, but when the trial date arrived he did not appear and went into in hiding. Anarchist Robin Hood on Trial in Barcelona
The case against Enric was finally filed in 2023 due to the statute of limitations so the French State has jailed him on suspicion of a non crime .

The activist believes that the French judiciary is “criminalizing cryptocurrency transactions, a legal but unregulated activity”.

Apart from his notoriety as a Robin Hood Bank Robber Enric was an activist in the 15M anti capitalist Movement which began in Barcelona, swept Spain and was a precursor of the worldwide Occupy Movement, the Arab Spring and countless autonomous projects.
Enric was also a founding member of the revolutionary Catalan Integral Coop (2011- 2017) as well as the ‘anti-money’ crypto currency Freecoin linked to the FairCoop, all now closed down by rampant capitalism but with wide latent support.

There is a growing number of 3rd and 4th world anarchists in the UK deprived of spaces that center our voices. A lack of infrastructure has made it harder to engage, celebrate and agitate together.
The inspiration behind us getting together to at least try to make this happen comes from the militancy of racialized communities in this country standing up for themselves.
As such the first volume of the mag will be centered around these manifestations of autonomous community self defence both in recent memory and in our history and traditions.
Articles not on that topic are welcome too, you do not need to be an intellectual and there is no minimum for submissions but due to size constraints around 4 pages of A4 would be the maximum we can take.
(Though, we can help create zines of larger articles and distribute them too if you fancy) Poetry is also, of course, welcome and deeply appreciated too.
The magazine is anti-copyright and will be available in print for donations, online for free and also in audiobook form also for free if all goes well. No one turned away for lack of funds.

However it has been criticized by anarchists as being ‘a handbook for western middle class pacifist ONG’s looking for grants’.

Beautiful Trouble lays out the core tactics, principles and theoretical concepts that drive creative activism, offering an array of tools to help activists learn from recent successes and failures, and from the broad, rich history of our struggle(s).
There are currently five modules; Tactics, Principles, Theories, Case Studies and Practitioners, all excellently researched, brilliantly written and painstakingly cross referenced, full of insights for cynical old artist-activists and fresh faced noobs alike.
