The attacked plane is an Omni Air N351AX contracted to the US military.
These planes are key purveyors of genocide in Palestine and must not be allowed to continue!
The three women, affiliated with Palestine Action Éire, claim the plane that landed at Shannon Airport is transporting troops and munitions to active warzones in the Middle East, including Israel and Yemen. They argue that this violates Ireland’s constitutional commitment to neutrality and breaches international law.

This action, “Operation Siren,” raises awareness of violations of neutrality and disrupts the war machine during Nakba Week, which commemorates the violent displacement of the Palestinian people from their homelands in 1948 by the settler colony.
The three women are calling for support in the fight against Irish complicity in the genocide. Support them at Shannon Airport and share this on your social media.
Once the security breach was detected, operations at the Co Clare airport were brought to a standstill.
The three heroic women were reportedly unhurt. They were charged with criminal damage to the illegal flight, but not with injuring the hospitalized policewoman, suggesting that she hurt herself while violently arresting the women.
Anti genocide sources called for an extension of such attacks to all airports and bases importing and handling the millions of tons of western donated armaments destined for Israeli massacres in Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Iran and Yemen.

“…the Omni Air Boeing 767-300 that landed at Shannon Airport today is supplying troops and munitions to active war-zones in the Middle East, including Israel and Yemen…”
THREE MORE WOMEN have been arrested following a new protest at Shannon Airport this afternoon……
The women made their way onto the runway and spray-painted a plane red in a protest against the use of Irish airspace by the US.
A female garda was injured during the course of the arrests and has been taken to hospital. Her injuries are non-life threatening.
The plane targeted is an Omni Air International plane. The protestors managed to spray-paint the nose of the plane red before their protest was cut short.
Civilian airline Omni Air International transports troops for the US military and is the largest carrier of military personnel through Shannon.

In a statement, a garda spokesperson told The Journal: “Three women, aged between 20 and 50 years breached the perimeter fence and caused criminal damage.
“The three women were arrested at scene and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Garda stations in Co. Clare.”
Palestine Action Éire said that the three women were “[working] as part of this network” that the activist group is part of when they carried out the protest.
The group said that the three women involved in today’s protest “allege that the Omni Air Boeing 767-300 CRAF that landed at Shannon Airport today is supplying troops and munitions to active warzones in the Middle East, including Israel and Yemen.
“They claim that this is in direct violation of Ireland’s constitutional commitment to neutrality, and in breach of international law”.
The group linked the protest to investigative work undertaken by news organisation The Ditch.
The Ditch has reported extensively on the US’ use of Irish airspace to allegedly transport munitions to Israel, where they are used against Palestinian people in the conflict raging in Gaza.
The US Department of Defense owns F-35 combat jet components that have been transported through Irish airspace on hundreds of illegal cargo flights since at least 2021 – with the most recent flight taking place just two days ago.
The Ditch announced last month that it’s taking legal proceedings against the Irish state after government repeatedly ignored warnings this airspace is being used to illegally transport munitions of war to Israel for its ongoing bombardment of Gaza.
Three women are believed to entered the airport an approached an Omni Air International aircraft parked at Stand 42 at the end of the terminal building. They are understood to have thrown red paint onto forward section of an Omni Air International Boeing 767-330(ER) aircraft that was parked there.
All three were detained and when it was confirmed there were no other persons at large, operations at Shannon resumed. The crews of the holding aircraft were advised shortly before 5pm that operations had returned to normal. Operations were affected for less than 30 minutes.
A Garda spokesperson confirmed: “Gardaí responded to an incident of criminal damage at Shannon Airport, Co. Clare that occurred shortly after 4pm this afternoon Saturday 17th May, 2025.
“Three women, aged between 20 and 50 years breached the perimeter fence and caused criminal damage. The three women were arrested at scene and are currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at Garda stations in Co. Clare.
“During the course of the arrests one member of An Garda Síochána was injured and has since been taken to University Hospital Limerick for assessment. Her injuries are non-life threatening. Investigations ongoing.”
Saturday’s security incident is the second of its kind at the airport this month.
Earlier this month, on May 1, three people were arrested after they allegedly entered the airport grounds after crashing a van into a security fence. The van was stopped from entering an airport taxiway after it got stuck in a drain.

COMMENT
0ggiemack It’s Omni Air International aircraft. They’ve a fleet of mainly 767s (this plane in the video) and I think one of two 777s. They’re entire business model is pretty much US military transport. They’ve been stopping through Shannon for years. They usually passed through en route to Kuwait.

Since they pulled out of Afghanistan, they were very seldom through Shannon. Like back in the Afghan campaign days. Since things have heated up in the last two years, they’ve been through a lot more and tend to go to Romania, Germany, Scandinavia, Cyprus, and I think I’ve seen Turkey too.
I personally love Shannon, but it’s low-key shady
