Two territories damaged by over-tourism are mobilizing to halt the expansion of one of the main infrastructure projects contributing to this problem:

The stronger European nations are reinforcing borders, denying asylum to refugees, and turning the Mediterranean into a common grave.

They are providing all the economic and administrative support necessary for the tourism-real estate-logistics consortium to continue profiting by artificially transforming these territories.

While residents of tourist-saturated areas are struggling to survive, tourist accommodations and luxury hotels are proliferating, all in the name of the “golden goose” known as tourism.

While each summer becomes increasingly unbearable, the seagrass meadows disappear.

Aquifers dry up and become polluted.

Airports increase their traffic, increasing emissions into the atmosphere and further destroying wetlands for profit.

If they block our sky, we will defend the land.

Dos territoris malmesos per la turistificació es mobilitzen per frenar l’ampliació d’una de les principals infraestructures del desastre: els aeroports.

Mentre els Estats de l’Europa fortalesa blinden fronteres, deneguen l’asili a refugiats i fan del Mediterrani una fossa comú, posen totes les facilitats econòmiques i administratives per a que el consorci turistico-immobiliari-logístic segueixi enriquint-se a costa d’artificialitzar els territoris.

Mentre les habitants de territoris turistitzats han de malviure, proliferen els habitatges turístics i els hotels de luxe, tot en nom de la gallina dels ous d’or anomenada turisme.

Mentre el calor de cada estiu es fa més insoportable, les praderes de posidònia desapareixen, els aqüifers s’assequen i contaminen, els aeroports incrementen el seu tràfic, augmentant les emissions a l’atmòsfera i encimentant albuferes per a fer negoci.

Si ens tapen el cel, serem la terra defensant-se.
