
America might still be enraptured (or enraged) by Donald “Build a Great Wall” Trump, but the U.K. is officially over it.
Last month, Britain’s highest court swatted down Trump’s attempt to block a wind farm that would be visible from his fancy Scottish golf course. In recent weeks, more than half a million Brits signed a petition to ban The Donald from entering the U.K. — a proposal that which will actually be debated in parliament later this month. And now the hilarious island nation has fined the presidential wannabe for the pollution spewing from his private plane.
The Hill reports that “the UK’s Environment Agency said this week that DJT Operations I LLC, part of the real estate mogul’s Trump Organization, owes 1,610.73 pounds, or $2,347.28, for failing to pay for airplane carbon pollution under the European Union’s cap-and-trade system.” Continue reading “UK fines Trump for air pollution — and they don’t mean his speeches”
