Just weeks after The World Health Organisation finally and unanimously declared glyphosate, main ingredient of Monsanto’s Roundup, to be ‘probably cancerous’, a tame EU body has declared it ‘probably safe’. Billions of dollars and untold suffering are at stake as it’s the most popular herbicide and ‘works’ with Monsanto’s GMO seeds.

Selling carcinogenic pesticides worldwide using the tactics of commissioning dozens of heavily biased and partial reports from their own corrupted researchers, and infiltrating safety agencies with their compromised scientists.

The decision by the World Health Organisation to declare glyphosate to be ‘probably carcinogenic’ is the latest in an epic battle between corporate greed and horrific human suffering. After extensive review of the evidence, all 17 of WHO’s leading cancer experts said glyphosate is a “probable human carcinogen.”

‘Arson’ in Massive Fire at Monsanto Research Facility

(ANTIMEDIA) Maryland — Earlier this week, a Monsanto research facility in France was burned to the ground. Monsanto and investigators suspect an arsonist was responsible for the blaze.

Monsanto representative Jakob Witten told Reuters that investigators“strongly suspect it was a crime as no electrical or other sources were found.”He added that “No Monsanto sites in Europe have so far been the victim of fires of criminal origin, this is unprecedented violence.”

The fire had multiple points of origin, meaning it is unlikely the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction or other natural causes. Investigators also noticed a strong smell of gasoline in different areas of the site.

On Saturday, October 24, at Sustainability Park, a City of Denver property near the intersection of 25th and Lawrence, a Tiny Houses project being built under the auspices of advocates from Denver Homeless Out Loud, was raided by the Denver Police Department.

Ten activists were arrested and the encampment was dismantled.

Last night, DHOL representatives were back on the scene, reinforcing their commitment to rebuild what has been referred to as Resurrection Village or Little Denver.

The Tiny Houses project wasn’t kept under wraps. Indeed, it was the subject of an online campaign that raised more than $5,000 through October 21…….read more here

Weeks after law lets burnt land be re-zoned.. Spain Burns

September rains are arriving yet multiple wildfires are still breaking out…. just weeks after the ruling PP abolished a law prohibiting re-zoning of burnt forests. Fires are beginning all over, often started by local PP mafia who will later re-zone as building land and increase their fortunes.

Repealing this law is yet another blatant, greedy corrupt scam by a political/business class born under the fascist dictatorship. It stands along with other environmental atrocities like abolition of the Coastal Law to allow hotels and development down to the beach, proposals to tax sunshine which destroyed local solar schemes and backdated suspension of subsidies which destroyed the flourishing wind and solar farms., etc. Over 1000 politicians have been charged with multiple corruption, with almost zero convictions so far!!

The Shell standoff in Portland comes to a dramatic end

Forty hours after Portland activists took to the Willamette River to block passage of the MSV Fennica, a Shell icebreaking vessel en route to the Arctic, the standoff came to an end.

Thursday afternoon, several hours after protesters successfully forced the Fennica to turn around, a judge — after urging from Shell — ordered activists to abandon their posts blocking the Fennica’s route out of Portland and threatened Greenpeace with fines from $2,500 to $10,000 per hour. The activists — some parked in kayaks on the Willamette, others hanging from slings on the St. Johns Bridge — refused, and local authorities and the Coast Guard eventually forced them from their posts, making way for the vessel.
