Ammonia NH3 scandal.CO2-free fuel suppressed by Big Oil.

80 years ago I could have taken a bus in Belgium that use CO2-free fuel, made from Green Gas Ammonia, and cheaper at present prices than gasoline. A car has been driven across America  on NH3 with its motor slightly adapted, the safe clean fuel has been used for tractors, locomotives and even NASA JETS.

GREEN GAS  NH3, is made by the same century old process used to make fertilizer..Just AIR plus WATER plus electricity. Now finally a new way to make Green Gas called SSAS has been found, which costs even less and is suited to wind turbine and off peak solar energy.

The oil and gas companies get billions every year in direct tax gifts from government, on top of their immense profits, and pay nothing to offset severe worldwide contamination and runaway climate change.

I`m not a moralistic person but last month I scrapped my old car.. Now I`m walking a lot and I live on a mountain. I really need transport, but how can I justify to my children if we take part in pushing the fragile world climate over the edge?

But WHY do we have  to use planet destroying technology when a C02 free alternative has existed all along.? Why can no venture company get backing to produce the fuel, when the technology is simple and proven and even the distribution system already exists (for the fertilizer Ammonia)?

Because these corporate climate mega criminals have set it up that way. Of course. For nearly a century they have suppressed Green Gas NH3. When will they be prosecuted, pilloried , ostracised  and brought to justice?..Okay I haven`t got much proof…

For example.. The company GreenNH3 (which sells green gas at 50c a liter) reports on its efforts to publicise the product on a CBC show…   After going through the interview process the man and woman said, they wanted us on the show, but could not, since our product (technology) had been vetoed by one of the Dragons who (he) was heavy invested in oil.  check it out  here

How come the oil industry in Nth America gets a 2.5 billion yearly tax gift while Green Gas supporters don`t even get their petitions answered?  Another wonder of  predator Capitalism!

I’ve checked it out.. of course, it was Richard Branson of Virgin Airlines who promised to spend billions on a new GREEN air fuel,

After years of greenwash posing and ballyhoo he plans to use some  ethanol, which hardly reduces emissions and removes plants which could be used for food.

But wait a minute.. CO2  free fuel has always existed!! (see previous post)  here

Are all these people totally sold out  or totally STUPID?

GreenGas again sent registered mail to PM Harper and Mr McGinty reminding them ( as they have every six months for the last 2 yrs ) that there is a lower cost, clean, safe alternative to tar sands oil or drilling which could save Canadians money and help clean up their environment. No reply at present.

Benefits of Green NH3  (ammonia) over other fuels

  • costs less and zero emissions
  • helps reverse global warming
  • no need to transport fuel (used where it is made)
  • less truck pollution, traffic congestion and fuel tanker accidents.
  • production,transport and storage faacilities exist already, for NH3 fertilizer, and only need extending
  • less need for oil wars ( oil is now not worth the fight )
  • less chance of “oil” terrorism ( harder to attack a million wide spread green fuel machines than one or two oil refineries.)   ETC

NH3 as a fuel

There are three ways to use ammonia as a fuel.

  • Ammonia can be burned in a spark ignited piston engine, behaving quite a bit like an ordinary gasoline engine, except it will perform at compressions of as high as 25 to 1, which is even better than diesel’s 17 to 1 limit.
  • Ammonia will burn in a turbine, which would be used for long term electricity generation, say in a “peaker” style generation facility intended to replace a natural gas generator. This would be a machine in the multimegawatt range.
  • The third method of producing electricity from ammonia is to use it in a fuel cell. This has always been possible but development has favored hydrogen fuel cells rather than direct ammonia fuel cells thus far.

How does an ammonia dual fueled vehicle work?

The simplest implementation of the dual fueled ammonia vehicle conversion is physically similar to a compressed natural gas vehicle conversion. A new on-board tank holds liquid ammonia at only about 150 PSI. Regulators, valves and an electronic control system meter the flow of ammonia to the engine as needed after the engine is started and warmed up on gasoline, ethanol etc. A small amount of gasoline is used to idle the engine, then as the load is increased the additional energy is provided by adding ammonia. This is all handled automatically by the engine control electronic module.

Can I buy a conversion kit for my private car today?

No. Not at this time. Conversion work is currently concentrated with fleet vehicles and other large market applications. Although, with increasing gasoline prices, conversions for private vehicles are coming.

La implementación más sencilla de la conversión de un vehículo a amoníaco es físicamente similar a una conversión a gas natural comprimido. Un nuevo  depósito tiene amoníaco líquido a sólo unos 150 PSI. Reguladores, válvulas y un sistema de control electrónico controla el flujo de amoníaco para el motor, según sea necesario. El motor se pone en marcha y se calentará con un poco de gasolina u etanol, etc.  A  continuación, como la carga se incrementa, la energía adicional se proporciona mediante la adición de amoníaco, manejado automáticamente por el módulo de control electrónico del motor.

RIFT VALLEY, Jun 17, 2011 (IPS) – It is late afternoon and the lone figure of nine-year-old Nancy Chepkemboi trudges home. She is soaked to the bone and this now happens on a regular basis because of the unusually frequent and high rains, placing her at risk of contracting pneumonia. And possibly even malaria. Puddles of standing water are a common feature in these regions, and are responsible for the highest malaria infection rates.

According to the ministry of health, malaria is the number one killer of children under the age of five. Almost 34,000 Kenyan children die from malaria annually. And they are at higher risk for contracting malaria during the rainy seasons.

Climatically Kenya is experiencing two extremes. Due to climate change, there has been no rain in most parts of the country. The drought in the northeastern region has been labeled a national disaster. But in the Rift Valley and in Western Kenya the rains have been heavier than expected. In less than four years, the most rapid expansion of a banking system in history saw three privatised banks develop assets 10 times the size of the country’s GDP. It was the Icarus economy. Property prices tripled, the stock market multiplied nine times, and people borrowed heavily – often in foreign currencies – to cash in on the boom. The crash was fast, hard and painful, worsened by the collapse of the krona as the state, unable to bail out the banks, refused to pay foreign creditors.

The strategy looks smart now, compared with events in Greece and Ireland, but the country was angry and frightened. Voters wanted change, and the Best Party caught the mood, capturing Reykjavik with 34.7% of the vote. “No one has to be afraid of the Best Party,” said Jón in his acceptance speech. “Because it is the best party. Peru Revokes Permit for Giant Dam on Amazon Tributary

After years of community opposition, a 2,000 megawatt dam planned for construction on a major Amazonian tributary, has been cancelled, the government of Peru announced Tuesday. The dam was to have been built across the Inambari River in Madre de Dios province.

For the past 36 days, some 2,000 people in the Puno area blocked access roads to the region and held mass protests to convince the government to cancel mining concessions and the dam project.

To appease the strikers, the government established a high-level commission to review the Inambari dam.

After a tense meeting with local communities on June 13, Commission Chair and Vice-Minister of Energy Luis Gonzales Talledo cancelled the project, stating that the Brazilian EGASUR consortium’s rights to develop the project had been revoked.

“Although this resolution does not prevent the construction of all dams in the Inambari Basin, it is very important because it clearly cancels EGASUR’s participation,” said Aldo Santos, from the local nongovernmental organization Rural Educational Services, or SER.

“The resolution states that all future proposed projects must be subjected to prior consultation with local communities according to ILO Convention 169 on Indigenous and Tribal Peoples, which is an important precedent,” said Santos.

Affected communities have long opposed the Inambari Dam, which would have flooded 410 square kilometers of forest, including part of the Bahujan Sonene National Park buffer zone.
