The following is a preview of “Leveraging the Freedom Cell Network for Homeschooling, Unbanking, and Permaculture”, a chapter from the 2nd edition of How To Opt-Out of the Technocratic State. Ch.10 Page 73 -here: FINAL.pdf

‘I have been involved in promoting and experimenting with the concept of Freedom Cells since 2016. I first learned of the concept from fellow Texas activist John Bush in 2015. It was John’s original conception, what he called the Central Texas Mutual Aid Society, that excited me to spread this message.

Taking inspiration from his vision, I began to produce videos about the various ways Freedom Cells could be applied. I also started organizing a Freedom Cell in Houston, Texas. I gave speeches on the topic at events all over the United States, as well as Mexico and Costa Rica.

I first put the concept of Freedom Cells into writing in my book, Manifesto of the Free Humans, in 2017. Slowly but steadily, the Freedom Cells concept permeated the minds of activists around the world. We launched an early website in 2016, and a second version in late 2019.

Overall, the Freedom Cell Network as a movement was blossoming and helping redirect some of the restless energy of the freedom movement into a focus on solutions.

In 2019, I began reflecting on the impending dangers posed by facial recognition, social credit scores, and all–pervasive digital cameras, and asking what solutions might be available to avoid, or at least survive, this dystopian nightmare. I decided to write Opt–Out in an attempt to share the Agorist philosophy and Freedom Cells strategy with a broader audience. The first version of the book launched in late January 2020.

I immediately began speaking publicly at conferences and festivals promoting the work. When I first learned about COVID-19, I did not initially suspect that what was taking place was related to the Technocratic agenda I had just finished writing about.

However, within weeks, I realized what was unfolding and recognized that this book was warning people about something taking place right before their eyes. Needless to say, the ideas within the book resonated with people from all walks of life.

So, while the Freedom Cell Network was thriving before 2020, it was not until COVID-1984 that the movement and website saw an exponential increase in interest and participation.

Our website went from around 1,500 members scattered around the world prior to March 2020, to over 34,000 people using the site post-COVID-1984. Also, in the spring of 2020, the messaging app Telegram saw a rapid increase in users, including members of the freedom movement who had been banned from other social media platforms. The Freedom Cell Network was a part of this growth.

We started the Freedom Cell Network Directory on Telegram, a listing of the hundreds of cells around the world that we had become aware of.

The movement has become extremely active in parts of Mexico, with more than 15 Freedom Cells around that country since 2020, and in Texas, where the movement began in 2015.

Other active regions include parts of Australia, India, Canada, Portugal, Germany, and Philadelphia in the US. I consider The Freedom Cell Network to be a broad term for people practicing the concept via the FC website, Telegram, and other online platforms, as well as those who practice it strictly in person without using these digital tools.

Altogether, we estimate that there are more than
40,000 people associated to some extent with the movement and concept.

Not only has the concept of Freedom Cells grown, but the counter-economy itself has also seen an increase in participation from the masses. As I will outline in the coming chapters, Konkin’s theories about the masses seeking to avoid tyranny — and choosing to bend or break the law as part of this effort— proved to be correct.

Slain ‘Cop City’ activist didn’t shoot first, says autopsy / Cops killed him with 57 bullet wounds

Police had claimed the protester nicknamed ‘Tortuguita’ fired first before being killed by six officers

Atlanta ‘Cop City’ Activist Had Hands Up When Fatally Shot By Police …

Manuel Esteban Paez Teran, the activist killed by Georgia State Patrol officers during a “clearing operation” targeting protesters camped out on the site of Atlanta’s hotly-contested ‘Cop City’ public safety training center, died from 57 bullet wounds and did not fire a weapon, according to an autopsy report from the DeKalb County Medical Examiner’s Office released on Wednesday.

The protester, known as Tortuguita, was shot in the head, chest, legs, and hands, with some bullets leaving multiple holes and others remaining in the body. A total of 14 bullets and fragments were recovered.

The autopsy results contradict multiple use of force reports submitted by police, who claimed Teran fired a weapon at a state trooper when police tried to remove the 26-year-old from a tent during the January 18 raid. Teran, they said, refused to leave before the officers fired pepper ball grenades into the area, then supposedly opened fire, hitting a cop in the abdomen and triggering return fire from six officers.

While the Smith & Wesson handgun that wounded the officer was allegedly purchased by Teran in 2020, the absence of gunpowder residue on the activist’s hands, clothes, or any other body part indicates that Teran did not actually fire the weapon. Documents supposedly tying the weapon to Teran have not been made public.

Rest in Power Tortuguita –

We were devastated to learn that our child, sweet Manny, was mercilessly gunned down by police and suffered 57 bullet wounds all over their body,” the activist’s mother, Belkis Teran, said in a press release on Wednesday.

350 stands with our movement allies, and we will not back down.

from thefreeonline on 2st April 2023 by Pascale at 350.org Menu Language

Breaking news: It was revealed this week that 350.org was targeted by a private security company during the Standing Rock resistance to the Dakota Access pipeline in 2016.

The pipeline, which runs from the Bakken oil fields in western North Dakota to southern Illinois, crosses beneath the Missouri and Mississippi rivers and under Lake Oahe, and is in close proximity to the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

Tigerswan was the private security firm hired by the Dakota Access Pipeline’s parent company, Energy Transfer. The resistance led by the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe was supported by a coalition of environmental and human rights organizations, with the Indigenous defenders uniting under the title of Water Protectors.

The resistance was backed by a diverse group of allies whose determination and connection to defending the sacred land and water was palpable. It went beyond just trying to stop DAPL – it was a frontier that harnessed the intersectional opposition to decades of colonial exploitation and extraction.

This is what they had to say about us:

“350 dot org’s ability to bring global attention to the dapL protest via their network of supporters and their media concerns represents a significant concern for Tigerswan and their client. 350 dot org’s ability to mobilize large groups of people is also of significant concern. They are unlikely to remove themselves from the protestors groups because their goals align perfectly with the Standing Rock Sioux tribe. They have a track record of success and should only be engaged after significant preparation.”

“We need to always be very clear that the industry knows what a risk the climate movement is,” said May Boeve, the executive director of 350.org in response.

The surveillance and intimidation of environmental activists has been a concerning trend for some years now. Activists across the world, especially those in countries with shrinking democratic spaces to express opposition such as the Philippines, parts of Africa and Latin America, need to be protected.

In Barrick Gold’s 2021 Human Rights Report, President and CEO Mark Bristow stated that “recognizing and respecting human rights have long been a fundamental value for Barrick.” But communities impacted by Barrick operations globally – in the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Pakistan, and in the United States – present a different, somber truth: Barrick seemingly systemically ignores community concerns about the violence of its operations on their land, water, and lives.

Last year, communities affected by Barrick’s operations in Argentina, the Dominican Republic, and Papua New Guinea came together to share their personal experiences of human rights abuse and environmental harm. They shared their struggle to hold Barrick, the world’s second-largest gold mining company, accountable.

We continue to lift up their voices and the voices of other Barrick-affected communities in Tanzania, Philippines, the United States, and Pakistan. Join us during two weeks of action against Barrick, through April 30!

Researchers found short-chain chlorinated paraffins, or SCCPs — a group of cancer-causing chemicals used in metalworking and the production of PVC, plastics, rubbers and other materials — in a wide array of household products, according to a study published Tuesday in Environmental Science: Processes & Impacts.

Banned chemicals that potentially cause cancer in humans have been discovered in a wide array of household products, according to a study published in the journal Environmental Science: Processes & Impacts.

Short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs) are a group of chemicals that are used in metalworking and the production of PVC, plastics, rubbers and other materials.

They are persistent chemicals, meaning they don’t degrade in the environment and accumulate in animals. Chlorinated paraffins have been detected in various wildlife and in human milk and blood.

The new study shows that SCCPs are still widely present in household goods despite bans on the chemicals, indicating the need for more regulatory action. Researchers found SCCPs in 84 of 96 household goods tested in Canada.
