(ZH) — Merck’s new ‘not Ivermectin’ Covid-19 treatment, molnupiravir, costs $17.74 to produce – yet the company is charging the US government $712 for the treatment – a 40x markup, according to The Intercept, citing a report issued last week by the Harvard School of Public Health and King’s College Hospital in London.

The pill, originally developed using US government funds as a possible treatment for Venezuelan equine encephalitis, “cut the risk of hospitalization and death” in half in a randomized trial of 775 adults with mild/moderate Covid who were considered at high risk for disease due to comorbidities such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

The trial was stopped early so the company could apply for and emergency use authorization (EUA). The drug did not benefit patients who were already hospitalized with severe disease.

Merck Asks F.D.A. for Emergency Approval of Covid Pill

News of the oral ‘wonder drug’ sent shares of Merck higher last week, as the company says it can deliver 10MM doses by the end of the year.

Clearly, the pill could bring in massive profits to Merck and its partner on the drug, Ridgeback Biotherapeutics – which licensed the drug from Emory University in 2020 and then sold the worldwide rights to the drug to Merck for a sum which has not been disclosed.

Meanwhile, the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, a division of the Department of Defense, funded development of the drug by Emory University to the tune of $10 million between 2013 and 2015, according to nonprofit group Knowledge Ecology International discovered.

Erdogan to steal more of Syria? Al Jazeera floods the world with racist and genocidal Turkish/Qatari propaganda

Turkey’s elected dictator Erdogan signals a new military operation in Syria, blaming Kurdish fighters with no evidence for a missile that killed two policemen in the Turkish military occupation and for 2 mortar shells that allegedly landed in Turkey.

On 11th Oct Al Jazeera presented to its 80 million mainly Arabic viewers and readers another article and video supporting a new invasion, ethnic cleansing and mass murder of Kurdish people in Syria.

Al Jazeera is praised for allowing investigative and progressive reporting worldwide.

But it’s financed by Qatar, which is largely controlled by Turkish blackmail. It’s no secret that Qatar ‘gifted’ $18 billion to Erdogan in 2018, hosts a huge and expanding Turkish military base, and got Turkish aid in its dispute with the Saudis.

Al Jazeera is now being forced to make this propaganda supporting Turkish war crimes .. See: “Al Jazeera English: A threat against the Turkey–Qatar alliance.” Al Jazeera English slandered Turkey over its recent military incursion into northern Syria, and thus jeopardized the future of the Turkey–Qatar alliance. Nov 4 2018

As Al Jazeera reported:

Kurdish fighters from the People’s Protection Units (YPG) stand outside a house in Raqqa, Syria,

“Turkey is determined to eliminate threats originating in northern Syria”, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned on Monday, saying an attack by Kurdish fighters that killed two Turkish police was “the final straw”.

“We have no patience left regarding some regions in Syria which have the quality of being the source of attacks on our country,” Erdogan said in a news conference following a cabinet meeting.

Our Caption: 75% of Afrin’s Kurdish people were killed or banished to internal refugee camps and their lands, houses and businesses given to Turkish paid Jihadi terrorists since Turkey illegally invaded and occupied the canton in 2018

Al Jazeera’s headlines..”Erdogan: YPG attacks on Turkish Targets the ‘final straw’ …

“Turkish Targets” ? Azaz is a town in Syria illegally militarized by Turkish invaders from where they regularily shell and bomb the nearby refugee camps in Sabha of Kurds they ethnically cleansed from Turkish occupied Afrin.

Turkish-backed groups shell IDP camp near Aziz in Syria where the majority of Afrin’s expelled Kurdish people are still trapped

The 2 policemen died from a separate ‘missile attack’. The YPG militias don’t have such pinpoint arms and the killing and massive televised military funeral bear the hallmarks of another false flag Turkish drone killing to justify a new invasion.

Erdogan’s threat of a 4th invasion: “We have no patience left regarding some regions in Syria which have the quality of being the source of attacks on our country,”
“Attacks on Our country” ?? Erdogan’s excuse for a new invasion! He alleges that just TWO mortar shells landed harmlessly in Turkey, while MILLIONS of shells have been fired by Turkey and mercenaries in Syria at children and civilians

Ways of Life 3: African Anarchy

There are African histories of egalitarianism and democracy independent of, and predating, modern Western progressive movements.  It is time we revived them from systematic displacement and erasure, because they may hold the key to our collective future.

Indigenous Democracy

An epiphany of cosmic proportions dawned upon me during a taxi ride from Kampala International airport to the city last year.  My incidental travel companion was the Ugandan film maker Dolman Dila; and in his unhurried, quiet, and measured tone, this is what he said:

“Of the 53 major “nations“ in the region today known as Uganda (name arbitrarily taken from one of them, Luganda, by the British), only 10 featured any kind of hierarchical political structure.

The majority of them, with population size from 1 to 3 million, lived in entirely egalitarian organizations, voluntary cooperatives, and share/gift economies, without centralized political power, high levels of inequality, or warfare.

For instance, Acholi, the 2nd largest society in Uganda, lived in communal, collaborative, and mutualistic arrangements.  In these societies elders and experts were respected, and held influence, but did not have exclusive decision making power over others.

In fact, the people of these societies having almost entirely no concept of power, control, domination, and subjugation was a significant factor for the ease with which Europeans conquered these lands.

Support our comrade Boris, still in coma but out of prison.

On April 10, 2020 during the first confinement, fellow anarchist Boris set fire to two cell phone antennas of the four telecom operators in the Jura region, also hosting police and gendarmerie communications.
As he himself explained from the prison where he was incarcerated for ten months: “The time is ripe for the acceleration of flows and data, for the connectivity of everyday objects to control, listen to, trace, and spy on more and more, to make the human being more and more a slave to the machine.
This is what domination calls “progress”, “civilization”. In reality, this project of society has everything of dystopia. Faced with this digital grid, there are not 36,000 solutions. It seems to me necessary to go beyond the stage of criticism and to act here and now, by linking ideas to actions (…).
I am part of those who, at the first resounding of the state and sanitary order, refused to lock themselves up at home and went out to attack directly one of the pillars of domination” (Why I burned the two antennas of Mont Poupet, June 2021)

Vax Passports now Absurd/ Kids boycott Jabs/ ‘81% of Covid-19 Deaths in Sept among already Vaccinated’: UK Public Health

CoronavirusVaccines selection from theexpose.uk shared with thanks

The UK has Fallen – 81% of Covid-19 deaths are among the Vaccinated, Male Teen Deaths have rised by 63% since they were offered the jab, Covid-19 Deaths are 12 times higher than this time last year…

How to Get Ivermectin: see HERE … HOW TO BEAT COVID: SEE HERE

Even more evidence proving the Covid-19 vaccination programme is a huge failure has been released which confirms throughout September 81% of the people who allegedly died of Covid-19 had been vaccinated against the disease.

A comparison of official Government reports suggest the Fully Vaccinated are developing Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome ( 12 Comments )

You may believe that the Covid-19 vaccination programme is a roaring success thanks to the mainstream media only choosing to publicise data that is around three to four months out of date.

A recent Office for National publication gathered traction in mainstream news outlets as it showed the vaccinated population accounted for just 1% of Covid-19 deaths in the United Kingdom, but there was a catch that they neglected to tell the masses.

The most Vaccinated state in the USA sees huge surge in Covid-19 Hospitalisations & Deaths, with 76% of them among the fully vaccinated population[…]

Dance Dance Revolution: The Insurrectionary Politics of Shaking It

In the summer of 2014, a ten-block area in the middle of Kreuzberg in Berlin was cordoned off around a school in which some refugees had barricaded themselves in defiance of deportation orders. .

Next to the school, in the middle of an intersection, a mobile sound system was set up, around which hundreds of people sat in the streets in solidarity with refugees. Around them were about eight or nine police vans, with dozens of police standing around, watchful.

Before me was a one-man/woman electro-punk band, who screamed into the mic above pummeling beats and abrasive slabs of synth noise at a high volume. People listened, and the police stood around with arms crossed, doing nothing.

Afterwards, I began my set, at a lower volume, with groovy African music. Smiles immediately appeared all around, as people stood up and began to dance. Chaos erupted suddenly only three minutes later, as a dozen police rushed the sound system, yelling aggressively to shut off the music.

I switched off the sound and threw my arms around my equipment, because it looked like they were about to smash everything. Protestors tried to stop them, a few fights broke out, and some were arrested, as I packed up and got the hell out of there.

This experience made one thing very clear to me: the most dangerous thing in the eyes of the police was dancing. But why?
