Hundreds of thousands of farmers have gathered in India’s most populous state, the biggest rally yet in a months-long series of demonstrations to press Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government to repeal three new agricultural laws.

Farmers have also called for a nationwide strike on September 27 to protest against the laws. Several rounds of negotiations between the government and ministers have failed to resolve the standoff.

More than 500,000 farmers attended Sunday’s rally in northern Uttar Pradesh state’s Muzaffarnagar district, according to local police.

Chanting “farmer-labourer, unity!”, the men and women wore yellow and green scarves, signifying harvest and mustard fields while waving national and farmer union flags.

The demonstration in Uttar Pradesh, a predominantly agricultural state that is home to 240 million people, will breathe fresh life into the protest movement, said Rakesh Tikait, a prominent farmers’ leader.

“We’ll intensify our protest by going to every single city and town of Uttar Pradesh to convey the message that Modi’s government is anti-farmer,” he added.

Bullfight Foundation calls woman mayor of Gijón a Taliban after she bans bullfights for Racism and Misogyny

Macho-fascist bullfighters gave the names ‘ Feminist ‘and’ Nigerian ‘ to their bulls before publicly torturing them to death to the cheers of their sadistic fans.

The socialist mayor of Gijón, Ana González, responded by announcing that there will be no more bullfights in the city.

The president of the Toro de Lidia Bullfighting foundation, Victorino Martín, then launched a tirade of abuse against the woman mayor, accusing her of being a Taliban and a “totalitarian” and making “a fool of herself.”

Ms Gonzalez announced the ban after denouncing that two of the animals that have been brutally tortured in public and killed in the last bullfighting fair were called ‘ Feminist ‘and’ Nigerian ‘.

The mayor said the City Council will not grant the concession to organize the Begoña Bullfighting Fair again, which was held on August 13, 14 and 15 in Gijón, since, in their opinion, “ the bullfighters have crossed several red lines ”.

All Middle Eastern, Asian, North African, Latin American, and Caribbean refugees entering the U.S. since 2019 have been prescribed ivermectin.

The CDC recommendation advises doctors working for the International Organization for Migration (IOM), who screen refugees in their home countries, and American doctors who treat them when they arrive to prescribe both ivermectin and albendazole.

Since the CDC guidance was released pre-Covid, naysayers will point out the ivermectin was prescribed for parasites and not for Covid-19, and presume the drug probably doesn’t work against viral infections.
