Fun with the “Least Racist”

During last week’s debate, Donald Trump repeated the claim he’s the “least racist.” Usually, it’s the “least racist you know.” The other night, it was the “least racist in the room.”

But keep in mind, Donald Trump has been in a lot of rooms with Stephen Miller and Steve Bannon (who could both argue they’re the least racist person in the room named “Steve”).

Racists love Donald Trump. They support Donald Trump.

They hold parades for Donald Trump. Donald Trump seeks out their support. He gives them shout-outs. He retweets them. He tells them to “stand by.”

He gives encouragement to little racist fuckers like Kyle Rittenhouse to shoot at black people.

Donald Trump say “Black lives matter” is a racist term. Donald Trump, being afraid of losing their support, is afraid to criticize racists, just like he’s afraid to say anything negative about Putin.

Donald Trump hires racists. Donald Trump says good people march with people chanting “Jews will not replace us.”

Donald Trump began his 2016 campaign calling Mexicans “rapists and murderers.” His wall, that Mexico still isn’t paying for, is racist.

His policy of separating family and putting babies in jail is racist.

And only racists need to say, “I’m the least racist.”

Donald Trump is a racist. If you don’t want to take my word for it, then take it from the racists voting for him.

Fifty countries have ratified an international treaty to ban nuclear weapons, the United Nations has announced, allowing the “historic” text to enter into force in 90 days.

Honduras became the 50th country to ratify the landmark Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW), the UN said on Saturday, in a move hailed by anti-nuclear activists but strongly opposed by the United States and the other major nuclear powers.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres commended the 50 states and saluted “the instrumental work” of civil society in facilitating negotiations and pushing for ratification, his spokesman Stephane Dujarric said on Saturday.

The UN chief said the treaty’s entry into force on January 22, 2021, crowns a worldwide movement “to draw attention to the catastrophic humanitarian consequences of any use of nuclear weapons” and “is a tribute to the survivors of nuclear explosions and tests, many of whom advocated for this treaty”.

According to Dujarric, Guterres also said the treaty “represents a meaningful commitment towards the total elimination of nuclear weapons, which remains the highest disarmament priority of the United Nations”.

EU Parliament decides to cancel bullfighting subsidies, BUT Malaga Council gives 450K euros to Bullfight School

The banning of Bullfighting will be strongly opposed by the toxic far right macho movement in Spain and become a another rallying cry against the fragile left and center government. The ”Sport” was already banned in Catalonia but the ban was overturned, along with all progressive laws, by the Supreme Court still controlled by the right wing oligarchy.

Nigeria: Curfews Stifle Protests/ at least 62 dead/ SARS renamed SWAT/ disbanded for 4th time/ Govt vows ”reforms”

With curfews announced around Nigeria, the #EndSARS protests have been halted. However, in the diaspora, Nigerians picked up the pace of protests with protests recorded in Zurich, Paris, New Zealand , Berlin, Toronto, Belgium and other cities around the globe.

The maturity, bravery and organisation of the protestors in the face of mass murder and torture by police and army have amazed everyone, especially that it was begun and guided by the Feminist Coalition. No party was allowed to hijack the uprising and funds collected are being distributed to victims, etc.

In reality it seems that only when outbreaks of mass uncontrollable looting and destruction began that politicians began hypocritical moves for reforms that they will certainly try to ignore as always before.

The #EndSARS movement is a reminder of why we need to abolish the ruling class’s police forces and create community controlled arbitration and retribution systems around the world.

As social movements continue around the world to end the impunity that police forces have, the African continent has seen their biggest movement within the country of Nigeria with the #EndSARS protests.

Nigeria has the largest population on the continent, and the largest population of young people has taken to the streets to protest the torture and brutality Nigerians are facing at the hands of police.

The Nigerian government has barely acknowledged some of the problems exist, the protests have turned toward social change demands, with citizens calling for more anti-corruption crackdowns in the government and social and structural changes nationwide.

In the context of the EU agricultural reform (which is not a reform at all) the animal rights activists prevailed and achieved a narrow majority for the cancellation of the bullfighting subsidies!

This is a sensation because up to now there has been a majority in favor of maintaining all attempts to stop these EU subsidies.

Leading Spanish politicians are family members themselves with bullfighting breeders.
