Recipes for Disaster: An Anarchist Cookbook

This is a modern guerrilla handbook, for all the rebels, inspired, resistors, collectives, occupiers who want to change the world to a horizontal not authoritarian society and who WANT TO LIVE THE CHANGE.

It’s an anarchist book first released by the CrimethInc. collective back in December 2004. The title is a joke.It provides all kinds of information on and strategies for direct action useful to activists and dissenters.There are sections on forming affinity groups, organizing demonstrations, stenciling, black blocs, sabotage, squatting, and more personal topics like mental health and “Supporting Survivors of Domestic Violence”.

It was written over three years by dozens of radical collectives from all over the world working together.

The work was positively reviewed in Fifth Estate ) and Clamor as well as by Kirsten Anderberg.

Los Angeles Earthquakes in center of Frack Zone

Crazy or what?

Monday’s 4.4 quake was a timely warning. It’s typical that the USA permits fracking waste injection wells, known to trigger earthquakes, all over an area of dangerous fault lines. Anything goes, as always in the sacred cause of making a fast buck. Of course prospecting and extracting new fossil fuel resources is ecocidal and ultimately suicidal for the human race, since we need to leave most of the already discovered fossil fuels in the ground, just to avoid a total catastrophe. Instead billions of public cash in tax breaks are handed out to these same mega criminals. Now hopefully fracking will be banned, at least in the city of LA.

On February 27, Oglala Lakota and American Indian Movement activists joined in a four-directions walk to commemorate Liberation Day, an event to mark the 1890 massacre at Wounded Knee. As they do each year, four groups gather to the north, south, east and west and then walk eight miles until converging on top of Wounded Knee, where they honor the fallen warriors and the tribe’s rich history of resistance……

…………The Oglala Lakota Nation is actively fighting the construction of the Keystone XL pipeline. This 1,700-mile pipeline, which would carry 830,000 barrels of crude oil each day from western Canada through South Dakota en route to Texas. At two points it would even intersect with a pipeline that serves as a main water source for the Sioux Nation, affecting all of the Pine Ridge reservation as well as the nearby Rosebud reservation. Anarchist Lessons for the Zombie Apocalypse

I was in a med study when the zombie outbreak began. That’s right, a master’s degree in philosophy and the only way I could come up with to pay rent was to sell my still-living body to capitalist science. I know, I know… in retrospect I should have studied something useful, like small engine repair.

Oh, and I wasn’t just in any med study when the zombie outbreak began, I was in the med study where it began. The researchers were testing some kind of acne medication, looking to see if there were any adverse side effects when it was used on healthy adults. There were. Thanks, capitalist society, for pretty much ending the world.
