 Sabotage against Wrexham mega prison

wrexhamLast night an action took place at the site of Europe’s second largest prison in construction on Wrexham Industrial Estate in North Wales. The mega-prison, if built, will cage more than 2100 human beings at any one time. Multiple large diggers and construction equipment had their engines destroyed. Slogans were sprayed on the half-built prison fences including ‘Fuck Lend Lease’ and ‘Fire to the Prisons’. Continue reading “New Mega Prison attacked by Activists”

LA TRISTE REALIDAD DEL ACEITE DE PALMA.. Boicot Los Productos!!

Letter from Pol: one of Anarchist Prisoners of Spanish State

we are not afraid

By P.J.C
Hello and good health to all my female and male colleagues

I would like to send you out  a letter as an anarchist , I feel that all our points of view are valid . just as long as we all seek to destroy the power, authority and the State. I think therein lies the beauty of our ideas and I understand all these pathways can coexist and merge together in search of a much desired total liberation.

I want to express my hatred, disgust and contempt for everything that encompasses the State, the power, authority and its special tool of annihilation called jail, with its cruellest aspect the isolation cell.

I have always defended the idea that as anarchists we have to be prepared and assume that at any moment may come a day when we have to go to jail which, in my opinion, is logical because when you want to destroy the state, it tries to stop you and  you end up locked up in order to wipe you out or paralyze you. But despite all this, they will not succeed. However if circumstances mean you don’t have to go to jail, the better for everyone!

I’m feeling OK physically and mentally. and still believingb the same as before entry and if possible, reaffirmed in most of my ideas, with my head held high and proud of what we are. I am how I behave and relate in theory and praxis, but always self-critical, so as to keep growing and never stop learning and I by saying all this I do not feel I’m better or worse than anyone else. No God, No Boss, No Husband..La Voz De La Mujer

sin-dios-ni-patrc3b3n-ni-marido

La Voz De La Mujer ( The Womens Voice) was the first anarcha feminist publication. Here you can watch (in Spanish) a film about their struggle ‘Neither God nor master nor husband’. The article about them in English is further down.

[youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCGJzZUT_Uc?

sorry can’t find it with English subtitles

– No God, No Boss, No Husband:
The world’s first explicitly anarchist-feminist group was created as part of the thriving nineteenth-century Anarchist movement in Argentina. It produced the first anarcha-feminist newspaper, La Voz de la Mujer. Sadly, the history of anarchist-feminism in Argentina has rarely been acknowledged, at best mentioned in passing, at worse ignored or forgotten.
La Voz de la Mujer was published in Buenos Aires only nine times, beginning on January 8, 1896 and ending almost exactly one year later on New Year’s Day. Its donors included “Women Avengers Group,” “One Who Wants to Fill a Cannon with the Heads of the Bourgeois,” “Long Live Dynamite,” “Long Live Free Love,” “A Feminist,” “A Female Serpent to Devour the Bourgeois,” “Full of Beer,” “A Man Friendly to Women.”
