Direct Action Violence is Morally Justified to Stop Climate Extinction

It’s always been a  no no. Until total Climate chaos is upon us its impossible to imagine a majority of people agreeing to the hardship of a fast conversion to a simpler cooperative lifestyle.
Not to mention the rich and powerful who imagine surviving in their luxury bunkers and paradise islands..
In the ‘rich’ west we are totally dependent on our jobs in the capitalist mashine, with our CO2 spewing cars and plastic gadgets …… of all types.
By the time necessity makes us say YES to real measures it will be far too late, with tipping points long passed and the climate dominoes inevitably falling to make Earth uninhabitable by humans for millions of years.
Track Blockades and Sabotage Continue in Hambach Forest .
In this scenario, which becomes more obvious every year, we can assert a moral justification and even an obligation to take Direct Action which hurts people as little as possible.
Please Break the Law? | The Art Assignment | PBSThis has already begun to happen in various court cases where activists have successfully  cited the moral necessity of breaking the law for the greater good.Imagine you are on a sinking ship holed by an iceberg. You know about ships and how to seal off the burst hold. But an official commands you to wait on deck.. .. Now you are morally justified in punching the official on the nose if necessary and closing the bulkheads.Greta Thunberg alludes to the same moral imperative with her magnificent call to youth action ..”I WANT YOU TO IMAGINE YOUR HOUSE IS ON FIRE.”We all live in a thin and fragile layer of breathable gas, no thicker than the skin of an apple, relative to the size of the Earth, with just the right mix of gases to make our lives possible and kept in a miraculous balance by the water and vegetation. The only one of trillions of space rocks that we know has life.
so..  Direct Action is Justified
The burned hulks of heavy trucks sit on Highway 1806 near Cannon Ball, N.D., on Friday, Oct. 28, near the spot where protesters of the Dakota Access pipeline were evicted from private property a day earlier. Authorities say protesters burned several pieces of construction equipment Thursday during a chaotic confrontation with law enforcement.

Support Jessica and Ruby: DAPL Eco-Sabotage Heroes: Resistance Goes On.

Two activists have come forward and admitted to some of the multiple acts of eco-sabotage against the Dakota Access Pipeline in Spring 2017.
Several of these incidents had been previously hidden from the public. Much of the sabotage took place with minimal equipment and training, and during broad daylight.

The women have come forward in the hope that others will support and be inspired by their actions.Image result for eco sabotage DAPL

They have currently been arrested on a lesser charge, and the FBI is investigating. Deep Green Resistance is reaching out via our Political Prisoner / Prisoner of War Support Group and aims to provide whatever assistance possible.

This is a developing story and more news will be coming soon. Press release follows:

The Dakota Access Pipeline is an issue that affects this entire nation and the people that are subject to its rule. With DAPL we have seen incredible issues regarding the rule of law, indigenous sovereignty, land seizures, state sanctioned brutality, as well as corporate protections and pardons for their wrongdoings. To all those that continue to be subjected to the government’s injustices, we humbly stand with you, and we ask now that you stand with us. Attacking UK’s coal transport system – Severing the lines that feed the machine

Severing the lines that feed the machine is not impossible. When people take up civil uprising in the UK, if people are able to shove their obligations to one side to open up an avenue, they mainly have the ability and possibility to be able to grasp their will for something new. The war is not over when those moments stop, it sparks up in little raptures here and there, showing that we are not crushed, things can be brought to a grinding halt again, even for a split second.

It just takes a few bright spirits and we see it clear, when the smug confidence of authorities is knocked, a few pins get hit out and things can be seen in a different light. Out of synch and off balance, everything no longer appears structurally sound, life feels more up for grabs.

The new horizon peaked through our cloudy day, Sunday 6th March, and we hope this uncomplicated act of sabotage we have undertaken exposes the vulnerability of their complex matrix. Continue reading “Coal rail transport line sabotaged in Avon Gorge (UK)”

M’ikmaq anti-frackersanti-frackerss…Sabotage Works!

 By , | October 21, 2014. with thanks.

After Officer Darren Wilson shot teenager Michael Brown dead this summer, Ferguson, Missouri, erupted with outrage, compassion and street protests. The response from many corners of the commentariat was predictable: condemnations of those “bad elements” among the protesters who resorted to property destruction as their demonstration of resistance. After two more high-profile incidents of cops shooting St. Louis black men to death, protesters even burned Old Glory, eliciting still more scandalized gasps from the usual crowd.
