We decided to occupy one of the many abandoned buildings in the city of Florence to make a place for socializing and sharing, to organize debates, presentations and concerts, to make room for those of us who need a place to be and do activities, to address the social disintegration and lack of opportunity that this city offers us
Florence is run by political powers and local councils for profit and is increasingly distant from the needs of the inhabitants. It is now the practice to sell everything: the health of citizens, the right to exist of migrants and refugees of war, the dignity of those who have no home, the right to education, the lives of many working men and women.
The demagogic schemes of the government continue to mystify reality; spreading the culture of resignation, of individualism and conformity, as well as denying the possibility of a social transformation and the creation of a different world.
For these reasons we reclaim spaces and revive them, experimenting with forms of social and horizontal self-organized centers, is one way to begin to build an alternative society, which does not require an authority and institutions to which we delegate the organization of our existence.
We want to fill this place with initiatives and topics dear to us, such as the issue of migrants, the politics of the Middle East with particular attention to the events of Kurdistan, the transformation of health care and the school system.
We also intend to make Italian language courses for foreigners and foreign language courses, and continue even here the project of popular canteens already present in other places in the city.
This space is open to anyone willing to propose activities, music days, or any project in tune with the ideas of freedom and self-management that animate us.
We are a group of people who struggle to build a society without borders, without masters and without religion and who refuse to live in the form of modern slavery.
We refuse to believe that a world in which everything is based on the individualistic pursuit of power and profit is “the best of all possible worlds”.
We say no to resignation and strive to create a possible world together for all *.
Nuova occupazione a Firenze
Di seguito il volantino di presentazione al quartiere di una nuova occupazione animata da anarchici e libertari a Firenze. A breve maggiori info.
Abbiamo deciso di occupare uno dei tanti stabili abbandonati della città per farne un luogo di socialità e condivisione, per organizzare dibattiti, presentazioni e concerti, per dare spazio a chi come noi necessita di un luogo nel quale trovarsi e fare attività, per far fronte alla disgregazione sociale e all’assenza di possibilità che ci offre questa città.
Firenze è gestita da poteri politici e da giunte comunali sempre più votate al profitto e sempre più lontane dai bisogni degli abitanti. Nei paesi “civili” è ormai prassi vendere la salute dei cittadini, il diritto di esistere di migranti e profughi di guerra, la dignità di chi non ha una casa, il diritto allo studio, la vita di tanti lavoratori e lavoratrici.
L’informazione demagogica e asservita ai governi-regimi continua a mistificare la realtà; diffondendo la cultura della rassegnazione, dell’individualismo e del conformismo, nonché negando la possibilità di una trasformazione sociale e della creazione di un mondo diverso.
Per queste ragioni riappropriarci degli spazi e farli rivivere, sperimentando forme di socialità autorganizzate ed orizzontali, è uno dei modi per cominciare a costruire una società alternativa, che non necessita di un’autorità e di istituzioni alle quali delegare l’organizzazione della nostra esistenza.
Vogliamo far vivere questo luogo con iniziative su temi a noi cari, quali la questione dei migranti, la politica del medioriente con particolare attenzione alle vicende del Kurdistan, la trasformazione del sistema sanitario e di quello scolastico. Intendiamo anche fare corsi di italiano per stranieri e corsi di lingua straniera, e continuare anche qui il progetto di mense popolari già presente in altri luoghi della città. Questo spazio è aperto a chiunque abbia voglia di proporre attività, giornate musicali, o qualunque progetto in sintonia con le idee di libertà e autogestione che ci animano.
Siamo un gruppo di persone che lottano per costruire una società senza confini, senza padroni e senza religioni e che rifiutano di vivere sotto forma di moderna schiavitù. Ci rifiutiamo di credere che un mondo in cui tutto si basa sulla ricerca individualistica del potere e del profitto sia “il migliore dei mondi possibili”. Diciamo no alla rassegnazione e creiamo insieme un mondo possibile per tutt*.
