This past weekend, my wife Sandi and I watched a documentary of WWII in color. It covered Mussolini, and the Emperor of Japan. Hirohito. It covered incredible atrocities from the Auschwitz death camps, 12 of them in Germany and Poland, that killed six million Jewish people by gas, machine gun slaughter and plowing them under.

The documentary covered Japan’s death marches of U.S. soldiers, Guadalcanal, and all the way to the A-bomb being dropped. The whole series made us pretty sick, disheartened and disgusted at the rise of Adolf H. and his cohorts. Those were a bunch of psychopaths, sociopaths”and really sick men.

Stuart’s life may have been plastered with headlines, Britain’s most famous anarchist was the usual description, but the small print of it was what was important. His courage, imagination, his loyalty, not just to what he believed in, but to his friends and family, his remarkable intelligence, his self-deprecating, droll and spiky humour. He was a man of parts, each one of them remarkable.

To reveal the richness of Stuart’s life and the many histories he was a part of, we intend to establish a memorial archive in his name. The Stuart Christie Memorial Archive will be housed at the MayDay Rooms in Fleet Street in London.

This project has been brought together by his family, close friends and comrades and is supported by the MayDay Rooms collective. The memorial will include photographs, letters, personal mementoes, art works, his writings, as well as the output of his publishing arms…

We have already said it and we do not tire of doing it: in Honduras the true pandemics are those of femicides and impunity.

On the night of February 6, Keyla Martínez, a young 26-year-old nursing student, was arrested in the city of La Esperanza for violating the curfew imposed by the Hernández government as a measure to combat the Covid pandemic. 19.

At approximately 11:30 at night she was arrested for being out after Covid curfew, taken to the Departmental Unit of the Police of this city and locked in a cell. A few hours later, Keyla’s lifeless body was admitted to the departmental hospital emergency room.

According to the Police, the young woman would have committed suicide by hanging herself from the bars of the cell. A thesis already discarded by the autopsy that reflected that the death of the young woman was due to mechanical asphyxia, which shows that she was murdered.

After knowing the result of forensic medicine, the Prosecutor’s Office issued instructions to the police authorities so that all the agents assigned to the police post be placed under the orders of the Public Ministry.
