After a week of blocked evacuations operations Russia and DPR forces are taking over Azov nazi held Mariupol street by street as starving population hide in basements.

AS A RESULT OF THE ACTIONS OF THE UKRAINIAN AUTHORITIES, “THE CIVILIAN POPULATION IS FORCED TO SURVIVE IN INHUMAN CONDITIONS: WITHOUT HEATING, ELECTRICITY, WATER SUPPLY, FOOD AND MEDICINES”, DECLARED FROM THE RUSSIAN MINISTRY OF DEFENSE (Evgeniy Maloletka / AP)
The head of the Russian National Center for Defense Management, Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, stated on Saturday that the humanitarian situation in Ukraine is rapidly deteriorating, and has already reached “catastrophic” levels in some cities.

According to his words, the ultra-nationalists place mines in populated neighborhoods and destroy essential public service facilities and, as a result of the actions of the Ukrainian authorities, “the civilian population is forced to survive in inhumane conditions: without heating, electricity, supply of water, food and medicine.
Mizíntsev declared that a “very serious humanitarian situation” is registered in the city of Mariúpol, where “hundreds of thousands of people, including foreigners, are forcibly detained by neo-Nazi militants”, who stop all attempts to leave the city.

“Today, in Mariupol, armed neo-Nazi gangs have carried out a new ‘looting raid’ on residential buildings, during which they took the last food, clothing and valuables from civilians under threat of physical violence and shot in place to those who showed the slightest resistance,” he said.
From Defense they reported that in total more than 6,900 citizens from 16 countries (Azerbaijan, Georgia, Egypt, Greece, India, Jamaica, Lebanon, the Philippines, Syria, Turkey, among others) “remain hostages of the Ukrainian neo-Nazis as ‘human shields ‘, as well as the crews of more than 50 foreign ships, which are blocked in seaports in connection with the major mine threat in the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea created by Ukraine in violation of international humanitarian law«.

He also pointed out that the Ukrainian authorities continue to “cynically claim that there are no civilians or foreigners who wish to leave for the territory of Russia”. “The daily increase in the number of appeals received through various communication channels from Ukrainian and foreign citizens with requests for evacuation suggests the opposite,” he said, adding that Defense received more than 2.6 million requests for evacuation from the territory of Ukraine. .

COMO RESULTADO DE LAS ACCIONES DE LAS AUTORIDADES UCRANIANAS, «LA POBLACIÓN CIVIL SE VE OBLIGADA A SOBREVIVIR EN CONDICIONES INHUMANAS: SIN CALEFACCIÓN, ELECTRICIDAD, ABASTECIMIENTO DE AGUA, ALIMENTOS Y MEDICAMENTOS», DECLARARON DESDE EL MINISTERIO RUSO DE DEFENSA (Evgeniy Maloletka / AP)
