Don’t you feel that water boiling up all around you?
There’s an absence that I see when I look in to your eyes.
Do you feel that madness way down deep inside?”
In a personal quest to discover the on-scene realities of war-torn Ukraine, it is first essential to ask the most fundamental of questions.
Does the presentation of the concept of truth remain a valid argument?
Are facts, those established by close investigation and scrutiny, no longer part of one’s God-given faculties of comprehension, critical thinking, inquiry, and self-preservation?
And, should the pursuit for knowledge be ignored at the whim of mere personal opinion?
The world is closer than ever before to nuclear annihilation. That is one fact that must be considered. And,… now is not the time for ignorance.
*
At this perilous time in history, as with too many wars previous, it is ignorance that has driven the civilized part of the world to provide the necessary “approval ratings” of war. On the long list of US-inspired wars and colour revolutions globally, each time the “Masters of War” quickly and tightly pulled the mask of propaganda over the eyes, the minds and the heartstrings of good-hearted men and women. It is natural and correct for all of sound conscience to abhor the horrors of war. However, goodness is too easily abused by the evil that drives other men to war.
Ignorance is not stupidity. Far from it. Certainly, the natural reaction to this perceived personal defamation is at best terse. But the charge of ignorance is instead one of a quantification of knowledge only. For, it defies even the deepest ravages of reason for a person to insist that their personal opinion of current events, for which they have very little accumulation of knowledge beyond Main Stream Media, must be considered superior to that of those who aspire to a factually based investigation and historical argument instead.
For years, many journalists who have offered to the public excellent work in establishing the truth of current news events via their own inquiry and investigation have overlooked the role of public ignorance in war. Quality journalism is increasingly preaching only to the choir. The real horror is that… there are far too few left in the congregation who will even bother to listen to the sermon. It is this ignorance, thus defined, that again drives a world to war in Ukraine. And nuclear destruction.
The stakes at this moment, the survival of mankind, are far too high not to challenge ignorance. There must be a return to a demand for reason, comprehension, debate and critical examination of all facts. If not, we shall surely perish; all the while uselessly pointing fingers at each other.
Is it not time to finally demand public consideration of the most important and fundamental of age-old questions?:
What… the… fuck?!
“I see those bombs drop almost everywhere.
Yet, across this world, it seems that nobody cares.
In a world where fact and truth you believe are lies…
This guide is for families preparing for imminent terrorist or strategic nuclear attacks, with expected blast destruction followed by widespread radioactive fallout downwind.
note> this guide is a ‘must read’ as it gives some simple advice that could save most people’s lives in the first minutes of a likely nuclear holocaust. Although it’s US based and dates back to 2016 it’s easy to copy and not selling anything… still a great resource. Most of us could survive a thermonuclear war, it seems, only to probably die in the collapse of civilization and the biosphere. As you probably know, the US has cancelled all anti-nuclear treaties in recent years and adopted the “doctrine” of winnable limited nuclear war, with new nuclear missiles due to be fitted to NATO air forces facing Russia from May 2022.

#1 – STAY OR GO?
You must decide FIRST if you need to prepare where you are, or attempt evacuation. The nature of the threat, your prior preparations, and your confidence in your sources of information should direct your decision. If you know already you will be preparing to stay at your own home or, at least, the immediate local area, go now to #2 below.
If you are considering evacuation, your decision requires very high confidence that it is worth the risk. You do not want to get stuck between your current location and your hoped for destination, as there will probably be no easy moving forward or getting back.
If you fail to get to your destination, you may be exposed without shelter, in a dangerous situation, perhaps among panicked hordes of refugees. Whatever supplies you have may be limited then to what you can carry on foot.
IF you are in a big city or near a military target, AND you have relatives or friends in the country or sufficient resources, AND the roads between you and them are clear, AND the authorities are not yet restricting traffic, AND you have the means and fuel, evacuation may be a viable option for a limited time.
DO NOT attempt evacuation if all of the above is not clearly known, or if the situation is deteriorating too quickly to assure the complete trip. You do not want to get stuck and/or become a refugee being herded along with panicked masses. If evacuation is truly a viable option, do not wait – GO NOW!
Do so with as many of the supplies listed in #7 as possible. Better to be two days too early in arriving than two hours too late and getting snagged mid-way, potentially exposing your family to a worse fate than having stayed where you were.
Because of the very real danger of getting caught in an evacuation stampede that stalls, almost all families will be better off making the best of it wherever they currently are.
Because time is of the essence, you need to first delegate and assign to different adult family members specific tasks so they can all be accomplished at the same time. Your first priorities to assure your family survival are Shelter, Water, and Food/Supplies. While some are working on the water storage and shelter at home, others need to be acquiring, as much as possible, the food and supplies, if stores not already besieged.
Because much of the food and supplies listed at #7 of this guide may quickly become unavailable, you need to assign someone NOW to immediately go to the stores with that list! Get cash from the bank and ATM’s first, if it can be done quickly, but try and use credit cards at the stores, if at all possible, to preserve your cash.
#4 – WATER
With one or more adults now heading to the stores with the list at #7, those remaining need to begin storing water IMMEDIATELY! Lack of clean water will devastate your family much more quickly and more severely than any lack of food. Without clean water for both drinking and continued good sanitary practices in food preparation and for bathroom excursions (which could become less sanitary than normal), debilitating sickness could rampage through your family with little hope of prompt medical attention. That is a likely but, avoidable, disaster, ONLY IF you have enough water.
Every possible container needs to be filled with water RIGHT NOW! It will be very hard to have stored too much water. When the electricity/pumps go down or everybody in your community is doing the same thing, thus dropping the water pressure, what you’ve got is all you might be getting for a very long time. Empty pop bottles (1-3 liter) are ideal for water storage, also filling up the bathtub and washing machine. (Remember, later you’ll have some in your hot water tank.) If you have any kiddie pools or old water beds, pull them out and fill them up, too. (Water from a water bed should be used only for bathing or cleaning, not for drinking as it may contain traces of algaecide and/or fungicides.) Anything and everything that’ll hold water needs to be filled up quickly RIGHT NOW!!
One of the shopping items listed at #7 is new metal garbage cans and liner bags which you’ll also use for storing water. If you can’t get any more new cans, you could clean out an existing garbage can, then put in a new garbage bag liner and fill it with water. Even sturdy boxes and dresser drawers could be used with bag liners. Choose well where you fill up garbage cans with water because they won’t easily be moved once full and many of them together could be too heavy for some upper floor locations. Ideally, they need to be very near where your shelter will be constructed and can actually add to its shielding properties, as you’ll see below. BE ASSURED, YOU CANNOT STORE AND HAVE TOO MUCH WATER! Do not hesitate, fill up every possible container, RIGHT NOW!
#5 – SHELTER
The principles of radiation protection are simple – with many options and resources families can use to prepare or improvise a very effective shelter. You must throw off any self-defeating myths of nuclear un-survivability that may needlessly paralyze and panic, and then seal the fate of, less informed families.
Radioactive fallout is the particulate matter (dust) produced by a nuclear explosion and carried high up into the air by the mushroom cloud. It drifts on the wind and most of it settles back to earth downwind of the explosion. The heaviest, most dangerous, and most noticeable fallout, typically dark grit, will ‘fall out’ first closer to ground zero. It may begin arriving minutes after an explosion. The smaller and lighter dust-like particles will typically be arriving hours later, as they drift much farther downwind, often for hundreds of miles. Once it begins to arrive, whether visible or not, all that will fall will usually do so in about an hour, coating everything, just like dust does on the ground and roofs. However, rain can concentrate the fallout into localized ‘hot spots’ of much more intense radiation with no visible indication.
This radioactive fallout ‘dust’ is dangerous because it is emitting penetrating radiation energy (similar to x-ray’s). This radiation (not the fallout dust) can go right through walls, roofs, windows and clothing. Even if you manage not to inhale or ingest the dust, and keep it off your skin, hair, and clothes, and even if none gets inside your house, the radiation penetrating your home is still extremely dangerous, and can injure or kill you inside.
Radioactive fallout from a nuclear explosion, though very dangerous initially, loses its intensity quickly because it is giving off so much energy. For example, fallout emitting gamma ray radiation at an initial rate over 500 R/hr (fatal with one hour of exposure for 50%) shortly after an explosion, weakens to only 1/10th as strong 7 hours later. Two days later, it’s only 1/100th as strong, or as deadly, as it was initially.
That is really very good news, because our families can readily survive it IF we get them into a proper shelter to safely wait it out as it becomes less dangerous with every passing hour.
What reduces radiation, and thus protects your family, is simply putting distance and mass between them and the radiation source. Like police body armor stopping bullets, mass stops (absorbs) radiation.
The thicker and heavier the mass, the more radiation it stops, and the more effective it is with every inch more you add to your fallout shelter. The thickness in inches needed to cut the radiation down to only 1/10th of its initial intensity for different common materials is: Steel 3.3″, concrete 11″, earth 16″, water 24″, wood 38″.
The thickness required to stop 99% of the radiation is: 5″ of steel, 16″ of solid brick or hollow concrete blocks filled with mortar or sand, 2 feet of packed earth or 3 feet if loose, 3 feet of water. (BTW, lead is nothing special, same as anything else pound for pound.)

The Fundación porCausa denounces the institutional abandonment of half a million migrants residing in our country, which drags them into poverty and unprotected work in the face of exploitation

Migrant minors with skaters in the municipal park of Isabel Clara Eugenia, in the neighborhood of Hortaleza. Miguel Ezquiaga
Between 475,000 and 514,000 migrants resided in an irregular administrative situation in Spain at the end of 2020.
A scenario in which around 14% of non-EU migrants are denied the possibility of accessing daily procedures such as a rental or employment contract, to the health system or to the creation of their own bank account.
These data are what the Fundación porCausa denounces in its latest study on the need to approve an extraordinary regularization of undocumented migrants
In 2021, the percentage of migrants in this situation grew to 16%, despite the decrease in arrivals during the first months of the pandemic.
This contrasts with the xenophobic approach that some parliamentary groups make of the southern border, something that the Observatory of the Right of Asylum, Forced Migration and Borders (CEAR) has been denouncing for years.
Of the total number of migrants who arrive in Spain in an irregular situation, 70% are Latin American and only 11% are African.
Last year the number of see (in 2019 there were 31,000).
Currently, a regularization process is open for the nearly 12,000 undocumented Ukrainian migrants in our country, a figure that has doubled since the 2014 invasion of Crimea.
The lack of papers implies a factor of vulnerability of the most basic rights of foreigners. The porCausa study warns of how this situation limits the right to health and education, prevents adequate access to justice for victims and multiplies the chances of living in poverty.
One in three foreigners is at risk of social exclusion, a proportion three times higher than that of Spaniards. This rate doubles in the case of migrant households with minors in their care (60%).
The consequences are even worse for women and children. Around 58% of the undocumented in our country are women, mostly workers dedicated to care and cleaning with eternal days and salaries well below the legal minimum.
One in three female employees in the sector lived below the poverty line in 2019. While for the nearly 125,000 minors living in Spain (25% of all undocumented migrants), irregularity hampers their access to the education system and health and the protection of justice.
This isolation excludes them from society and exposes them to psychiatric pathologies such as stress, anxiety, depression and even suicide.
It is worth remembering how universal access to healthcare was withdrawn from foreigners in an irregular administrative situation from 2012 to 2018. In those six years, mortality in this segment of the population increased by 15%. This reality contrasts, paradoxically, with that experienced during the pandemic, where the fundamental role that migrants play in some sectors considered essential, such as food production, cleaning, care and maintenance services or the transport of goods, have maintained the economy afloat.
According to the latest employment data extracted from the Active Population Survey, most undocumented adult migrants have jobs in the underground economy, which prevents them from making direct contributions through social contributions. Two sectors group more than half of these “informal” jobs: home care (27%) and hospitality (24%).
PorCausa estimates that a generalized regularization would increase the average net tax contribution of each immigrant to around 3,500 euros per year. Which would mean a benefit of between 790 and 950 million euros per year for the public coffers.
On 31 March 1964, the Brazilian military initiated a coup d’état against the democratically-elected progressive government of President João Goulart. The next day, Goulart was deposed and, ten days later, the 295 members of the National Congress handed the state over to General Castello Branco and a military junta. The military ruled over Brazil for the next twenty-one years.

Since the Russian offensive inside Ukraine commenced on February 24, the Ukrainian military has cultivated the image of a plucky little army standing up to the Russian Goliath.
To bolster the perception of Ukrainian military mettle, Kiev has churned out a steady stream of sophisticated propaganda aimed at stirring public and official support from Western countries.
The campaign includes language guides, key messages, and hundreds of propaganda posters, some of which contain fascist imagery and even praise Neo-Nazi leaders.
In Ukraine itself all media is heavily censored, self censored or closed down, with opposition leaders imprisoned, all 11 opposition parties banned and the Russian language, spoken by a third of the population, being forbidden.Popular TV personalities have stooped to recommending killing Russian children and castrating Russian prisoners of war.
In this atmosphere, far from Putin’s goal of ‘denazification’, propaganda lies are firmly believed, even when proven false. For instance the tale of the heroic fighter pilot downing 4 Russian jets in a day, and the ‘massacres’ in the hospital and theatre of Mariupol, after repeated proof they were False Flag spectacles of the Azov nazi occupiers are still presented again as Russian atrocities.
Behind Ukraine’s public relations effort is an army of foreign political strategists, Washington DC lobbyists, and a network of intelligence-linked media outlets.
Ukraine’s propaganda strategy earned it praise from a NATO commander who told the Washington Post, “They are really excellent in stratcom — media, info ops, and also psy-ops.”
The Post ultimately conceded that “Western officials say that while they cannot independently verify much of the information that Kyiv puts out about the evolving battlefield situation, including casualty figures for both sides, it nonetheless represents highly effective stratcom.”
