Le Pen-Macron: finally, a vote where the people can decide if it’s war or not

Anon is French : r/greentext
With polls suggesting a dead heat between Macron and Le Pen it seems like the Yellow Vests, who abhor both candidates may hold the balance of victory.
Strangely Le Pen is promising to reject most sanctions supporting the nazi inspired regime in Ukraine, which could upset the hysterical European drive to war and economic suicide to punish Russia.
Would you prefer 5 years under a total autocrat elitist bent on sacrificing the poor to the WEF and new world order? Or would you prefer to risk letting in a National Front fascist promising social protection?

Le Pen-Macron: finally, a vote where the people can decide if it’s war or not

From 1792 to 1815 there were not one but seven “Coalition Wars” which involved most of Europe. It’s an era which should be properly termed the “7 European Wars Against the French Revolution”.

Think the average European was thrilled about gutting their own economies – for 23 years! – in order to get involved in what was truly a civil war in a faraway land?

Even in England, the only nation which participated in every coalition fighting for counter-revolution, there were popular protests to finally end belligerence, and they occurred long before the start of France’s “Continental Blockade” against England’s intractable monarchists.

Objections of unjust meddling in the sovereign affairs of another nation were even finally raised in England’s oligarchical parliament. It was all to no avail, because back then foreign policy was entirely decided in the royal courts of Europe. War went on, regardless of popular objections.

It’s not any different today.

Russian submarines fire missiles in Sea of Japan drills: report

Two submarines of the Russian Pacific Fleet launched Kalibr cruise missiles in drills in the Sea of Japan Thursday, according to Russia’s Tass news agency, in an apparent warning to Japan and the United States, engaged in a joint military exercise nearby.

Two diesel-electric submarines, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Volkhov, fired missiles while submerged against a naval target, the news agency reported citing the Fleet’s press office.

The launch came as Japan’s Maritime Self-Defense Force and the U.S. Navy’s nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln conducted their joint exercise.

“Anarchafeminist Manifesto” by Chiara Bottici (from Laura Vicente: my personal reading).. Eng/Esp. updated

Reading this Manifesto by Chiara Bottici [1], at the end of 2021, was a breath of fresh air in the panorama of anarchist feminism which is lacking in ideas, let alone building a social movement, in this country.

I do not underestimate, far from it, all the efforts that are made to build a feminist proposal from anarchism, everything is useful and, especially, in these times.

However, we have to recognize how difficult and slow it is to start it: sometimes due to a lack of ideas, also because activism in other fields leaves little time for the creation of solid anarcho(a)feminist groups with continuity over time. and, finally, often because confrontations dominate the feminist and anarchist space and time and energy are wasted on them.

In addition to reading the Manifesto, I attended…

UK to get ”special weapons”storage sites for USA nuclear weapons, – making a pre-emptive strike easier.

Christina Macpherson's avatarnuclear-news

Daryl Kimball, the executive director of the Arms Control Association, said the upgrade of the UK storage facilities is “an early sign that the US and Nato are preparing to engage in a protracted and maybe heightened standoff with Putin’s Russia”.

UK military vaults upgraded to store new US nuclear weapons  https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/apr/12/uk-military-vaults-upgraded-to-store-new-us-nuclear-weapons

A US 2023 budget request shows the UK is one of several European countries where investment is under way at ‘special weapons’ storage sites    Julian Borger in Washington and Dan Sabbagh, Wed 13 Apr 2022

Military bunkers in the UK are being upgraded so they can be used to store US nuclear weapons again after 14 years of standing empty, according to US defence budget documents.

In the Biden administration’s 2023 defence budget request, the UK was added to the list of countries where infrastructure investment is under way at “special weapons” storage sites, alongside Belgium…

Ruble gas payment Deadline Nears: G7 Countries may refuse to pay ‘On Principle’ – Europe to be ruined but ‘Biden is Laughing’ –

Joe Biden Laughing | 2020 United States Presidential Election | Know Your Meme
European ruin will be a giant bonanza for the US gas and oil, industry

Following “illegitimate decisions” by several Western nations to freeze Russian assets, Putin ordered to accept payment for natural gas supplies to “unfriendly countries” only in rubles.

G7 MEANS “THE GROUP OF SEVEN” CANADA, USA , FRANCE, GERMANY, ITALY, JAPAN AND THE UNITED KINGDOM. PUTIN’S WARNING IS CLEAR: “EITHER YOU PAY IN RUBLES OR THERE IS NO GAS”, BUT BIDEN ALREADY ORDERED EUROPE TO PURCHASE US GAS

The G7 countries have agreed that they will not pay in rubles for the supply of Russian gas, as announced by the German Vice Chancellor and Economy Minister, Robert Habeck.

This is great news the US which has more gas and oil than it can use, (although it is fracked, wrecking the environment and leaking huge quantities of climate-destroying methane) and xcan sell it abt astronomical prices.

The official said that “all G7 ministers were in complete agreement that payment in rubles would be a unilateral and clear breach of existing contracts.”

European leaders appear convinced by hysterical 24/7 media hysteria portraying the limited Russian operation as some kind of Blitskrieg against civilians.

Rank Hypocrisy of European Refusal to Pay

The UN reports that up to 2000 civilians have been killed so far by the Russian bid to secure its borders in Donbass. Surely a great crime. But nearly 14,000 were killed so far by nazi-led attacks on Donbass by the openly nazi-led Rkrainian army– and no one protested for 8 long years.

And the war criminals are? the Iraq death toll 15 years after the US/UK invasion

caltonjock's avatarcaltonjock

19 Mar 2018 marked 15 years since the U.S.-U.K invasion of Iraq in 2003, and still, the World has no idea of the enormity of the calamity the invasion unleashed since the military refused to keep a tally of Iraqi deaths. But it is calculated that there has been a catastrophic 2.4 million Iraqi deaths since the 2003 invasion.

The number of Iraqi casualties is not just a historical dispute, because the killing is still going on today. Since several major cities in Iraq and Syria fell to Islamic State in 2014, NATO has conducted the heaviest bombing campaign on any country since the US bombing of the Vietnam war, dropping 105,000 bombs and missiles and reducing most of Mosul and other contested Iraqi and Syrian cities to rubble.

An Iraqi Kurdish intelligence report estimated that at least 40,000 civilians were killed in the bombardment of Mosul alone, with…
