We had an interesting weekend. Sinn Féin Politician Michelle O’Neill sent a letter to the Queen to celebrate her jubilee then it came to light that Orangemen (far right ‘loyalist’ protestants in British part of Ireland) were singing racist chants about the death of Michaela Harte/McAreavey as they celebrated the centenary of “their own little country”.

Someone told me today that a republican is a significant contrast in showing leadership and political maturity on the one hand and loyalists in showing the worst of sectarianism on the other.

Sinn Féin, (radicalrepublicans now sharing power in British run 6 counties) think they are as clever as a fox and have done a great triangulation to get the upper hand over the DUP once again. I told my friend that it was definitely a ploy but that I would say their victory was as slippery as an eel, because instead of ability Sinn Féin showed the same stupidity that has lain behind their “strategy” for the last thirty years.

You can’t run with the fox and hunt with the hounds – a republican should not show any respect for the monarchy. Michelle O’Neill didn’t add to the reconciliation I think, on the contrary, she took a rod that will beat herself later on.

Reconciliation cannot be based on lies and ingenuity and you cannot call yourself a republican and practice it like this [read Rousseau or Wolfe Tone or Mac Reachtáin or Tómas Ó Cléirigh etc. if you do not agree with me].

But the final Party in the Orange Hall showed us something else- it’s a waste of time trying to compromise . They hate everyone else who is not a conservative racist.

The Orange Order was founded in 1795 to consolidate Protestant supremacy – it is a reactionary sectarian organisation [sectarian and racist in the Irish colonial context] that has stood up for injustice for over 200 years.

And its foot soldiers are ignorant fools because from the beginning to the end the northern Elite has taken advantage of the Order to defend its status, or as Thomas Knox – Earl of Ranfurly – claimed at the time:

“As to the Orangemen, we have rather a difficult card to play. They must not be entirely discountenanced; on the contrary we must in a certain degree uphold them for with all their licentiousness, on them must we rely for the preservation of our lives and properties should critical times occur”.

Not much has changed in the meantime.

Today, Ian Paisley junior can get a cheap house from Seymor Sweeney or accept a holiday from a tyrant, or Peter Robinson can buy a piece of a garden for 5 pounds and sell it for £ 460,000 or have a bank account (that isn’t in his own name) on the Isle of Man, or Jeffrey Donaldson can have five companies …

What is left of their culture? [don’t forget that last week they received a Bill of Parliament for their defense!]

The people who come out in support of this bloody lot are just a pack of thick dim-witted idiots – and Ian junior, Jeffrey and Peter snigger about them while coining it on the back of all this bigotry and blackguardry.

They can become as drunk as a lord and sing a sickening song about a poor creature who was killed on her honeymoon – that’s their culture – hate completely imbues their mentality. Who are their allies? Britain First, Trump, South Africa, Rhodesia, Israel, the bible zone in the south usa. I have already written that they started branches of the KKK here in the 1920s. Achan baicle of bigoted blaggards; all racist regimes – their allegiance is the ideology of superstition.

Let’s not start about the butchers of Shankill Road! They’re ugly – soft in the head !

I can hear the reader say “but Ferguson, you cannot associate the queen with those animals”. Can! They are loyal to her. And who is she?

A billionaire who began (her reign) as queen in Kenya while on a visit along with her crazy racist husband, while the British state carried out cruel systemic torture in the same country.

Who is she? Protestant because the king or queen of England cannot have any other religion – head of state and head of religion. There are only two countries in the world where unelected priests sit in parliament – Britain and Iran.

We should not reconcile with this system and we should not reach out to the loyalists because if the power they used to have was restored to them, tghey would immediately repress us.

People say that the Queen should be respected in order to attract those in the center to a United Ireland. You are depriving yourself of the principle and courage that lies at the heart of republicanism.

Let us not forget that another organization was founded by Northern Protestants before the loyalists established the Orange Order in response – the United Irishmen.

Let us not give away our legacy of honour for the sake of signing a hand of friendship to those who have only hatred in their hearts – selling the Republic and accepting the Monarchy for the temporary benefit of applause from Mike Nesbitt – in Crom’s name!

(Crom was one of our old gods – he is remembered today particularly on the last Sunday of July with a pilgrimage to the top of Croagh Patrick mountain; most of the people doing the pilgrimage today think it’s a catholic tradition, poor dears.)

It would be far better to set out the vision of the republic honestly and if the animals are not willing to live as citizens and exercise universal fundamental rights in a free and democratic country where no one is oppressed, it is they who have the problem.

But do not praise the Queen, because we have another inheritance – the inheritance of Wolfe Tone who said at his trial:

“From my earliest youth I have regarded the connection between Ireland and Great Britain as the curse of the Irish nation, and felt convinced, that while it lasted, this country would never be free or happy. In consequence, I determined to apply all the powers which my individual efforts could move, in order to separate the two countries”…
